Used to watch this when I was 6 on its release date of the video, looking back on it 10 years later brings back good ol’ memories. I even thought it was PM rush hour..
I will be in NYC for a week or so in June 2015 from England. I hope to get to the NEC in New Jersey for some filming a few times. Thanks for these videos and whetting my appetite. Cheers!!
9 times out of 10, when I’m going north we express through North Elizabeth. And what’s with all the walkie talkie static? Do you work for NJ Transit or something?
For those wondering, nothing really stops at North Elizabeth, except for their respective platforms during their rush times (NB platform for AM Rush, SB platform for the PM). Outside of those times nothing really stops (and I don't think they serve it on weekends). Works similarly to Jersey Ave.
The ML2 have been running on the NEC for a while. They originally starter on the raritan valley sets, but now you could find them on the NEC line as well.
Amtrak travels along the Northeast Corridor between Florida and Boston. NJ Transit is just a commuter line that run in the state of New Jersey. Some of NJT trains run into NYC
Good video. Interesting announcement... "In New Jersey insurance fraud ends in jail... written all in Spanish , We see that the Hispanic community leaves us "very well stand" over there.
If you can catch one of the Arrow lll emu's (silver self_propelled trains) those are best to ride on. The bi_levels are o.k. but they're generally not favored by railfanners. I didn't like them because the lavatory was hard to find
smoothjazzaxe Bathrooms are much harder to find on Comet sets, where most of the cars being IIMs all lack bathrooms. Every cab car has a bathroom though
Quisiera un historiador que me contará mi visabuela maggie kelly miller manejaba las locomotoras para finales del siglo 18 quisiera una historia sobre ella
I would like a historian to tell me my great-grandmother, Kelly Miller, was driving the locomotives by the end of the 18th century. I would like a story about her.
Why? Because it derailed a few times? Because it goes fast? Amtrak doesn’t stop at the station that he was recording. That’s not their stop. So they go faster in the area
The standards of the trains in the US are very low! Hete in Sweden we had better trains even 20 years ago! The acceptable train in the US is Acela Express!
US trains aren't all that bad. The Acela is a great train mainly because for a train it is brand new. Amtrak hasn't really ordered any new coaches in a little over 20 years. The MTA a commuter line just got brand new EMUs to run between New Haven and New York called the Kawasaki M8. A lot trains are getting overhauls especially in the northeast with the population density. There is a new line running from Springfield to New Haven that is getting a complete overhaul on the tracks already there, there are numerous proposed lines. Rail travel is starting to make a bit of a comeback. Air travel isn't exactly the safest, expenses can cost a lot, and delays are fairly common. Multiple airlines have stopped flights between Boston and New York because of the success of the NEC in general
@@saywhat6250some times it’s bad due to dozens of workers not showing up today this is why they need more trains at night fr but it’s not their fault it’s the workers fault

Klasse und schöne Video, Danke
My favorite train by far in the video was the AEM-7. The AEM-7 is now defunct. I miss the AEM-7😭😢.
I shall ride these trains one day with mom and dad. The trains are very speedy. Nice.

Nice video but tell me why the ALP-46 horn at 6:07 got me thinking an AEM-7 is coming lol
Weirdly enough the AEM-7 at 3:22 had a similar horn to that one ALP-46
Lmfao
Awesome Video!
Thanks for the update, I didn't get a chance to write it in the description area.
Like they switched the ALP horn with an AEM-7 K5LA and put the ALP K5LA on #920 which showed up at 10:23

Great video. Did you have to do a good deal of editing?
Thanks. Not really, just quick fade in and out.
