Yeah seems nobody ever knows about this. I see so many reviewers complain about it when it's possible through the settings. They should enable it by default.
I think his point, and I agree with him, is that the gauge that you don’t change and that is there at all times should be the tach, not the speedo. Basically, IMO, the left gauge would never be changed and the information screens you can choose from are useless because it’ll always be on the tach. If it were reversed, the speed can be displayed as a number in the other info screens and doesn’t require a gauge. I love the Accord, bought a 1.5 sport. One thing I don’t like is how the trim levels work for the sport. The 1.5 isn’t as luxurious unless you shell out for the 2.0. 1.5 doesn’t come with heated seats and it’s not even an option. So basically if you want a manual with heated seats from Honda you HAVE to get a 2.0. Future buyers, keep that in mind

This review pretty much sold me on the car. Love my 2.OT Manual! For everyone wondering about the Audio, YES it lacks low end but it's not like there isn't any bass either. I keep saying I'm going to get a sub but it hasn't been awful enough for me to pull the trigger on it. Also, you CAN see the tachometer all the time. You just have to go into Meter Setup under Settings > Vehicle. I have set it up and always have tach visible even when using things like the Navigation or Driver Assistance display.
I had the great privilege of owning a 2019 Honda Accord Sport 2.0t in a manual for a full month. It was a great car just wasn’t for me. The stereo was very subpar, sounds like a Walmart speaker that they threw in the car. A digital NUMERICAL speed was not available in MPH only KM per hour in the center of the speedometer.! Ended up trading it in for a 2018 Volkswagen Golf R. Love my car now! To the person that now owns the accord, treat her right for me!
Such a beautiful and well equipped car. Honda is really keeping the manuals alive and they will continue to sell more cars than its competitors because manuals are always a rare commodity
There is a way to have the Tach up at all times... On the infotainment screen, go to Settings->Vehicle->Guage Setup and you should see something about a tachometer, set it to always on... So you can have the tachometer displayed and a second screen inside the tach for whatever you need
I have a 2020 Sport 2.0T with the 10spd. I agree wholeheartedly with your takes. Car is so solid and fun! No real faults frankly for a 40 year old with no kids. I wanted to let the public know about one of the gripes the reviewer had about this accord. I bought this exact model last year as my first daily manual transmission car and the HUD settings allow the TACH and another feature (eg gas mileage/usage) to appear simultaneously. You do not have to sacrifice your tach to have other displays such as radio or the Honda sensing radar detecting range of a vehicle in front of you. All the videos I’ve seen on this have missed this and the dealerships are doing a horrible job knowing the cars tech. This almost was a deal breaker for me. Who wants to drive a manual if you can’t even use the other awesome HUD features.
I've got those wheels on my 2016. I just bought it after a 3year lease. Love it. Got only 14,000 miles on it after my three years. Gonna have this car for a long time and the value right now is solid. I actually prefer my double screen than the single in the 2019.

Like he said in the video. The v6 6mt had a slightly better transmission and a bullet proof engine. The 2.0T has yet to prove itself really tho so who knows. But this car is awesome and better suited for the average driver than the old coupe
I've turned the notifications nice reviews you got here love the night pov drive/review
Love my 19 Accord 2.0 Sport 6MT every day since August, even great in the snow (as long as you get snow tires)
"for an example, here's my wallet" I laughed so hard at this and I don't know why.
I still have no idea why I did that 😂
For scale. Helped me.
@@TheTopher 😂😂
@@TheTopherdo you prefer this car over the civic si?
I didn’t like this car at first, but once I drove on at work I fell in love, I like this model and the model before.
The accord sport 2.0t fwd is so fast that can beat the mustang ecoboost rwd, , Camry trd, Acura tlx awd, and the sonata N line. Honda nailed it with their vehicles. Good job Honda👍🏼
Just a little fun fact. Honda’s advertised HP is wheel not crank. Of course you have to be running premium gas but you get the point, that’s why everyone is saying the power numbers are underrated. Happy driving!
I love hondas sticks they are so smooth and short shifts are nice. I had a stck in my 2005 civic but had to trade it in due to wifes car blew up and we needed a car that she could drive. I miss the car a lot
Wow, i love the interior, nice steering wheel, shifter, gauges, dashboard, seats, door panels - simple but beautiful, good job Honda.
6:16 looks like the jeep was trying to race you in the side mirror but it had no chance 😂
Kade Lubensky that’s what I said 😂
Michael Cartier ya haha
Kade Lubensky lmfao if the Jeep wanted to take him he would have done it Im pretty sure just because a car is on the side of another car it’s not always a race 🤦🏻♂️
@@plymouthfury6840 Obviously the guy with Plymouth in his name would say that lmao
Plymouth Fury he’s so salty
His pov is so perfect even u can can see what he is seeing through the backmirror.
Having owned a CVT for the last 4 years this responsive manual trans really has me thinking ... nice car
My favorite had/has a 1997 Honda Accord DE. Greatest car I’ve ever driven. And yes its a 5 speed manual. Driving that felt so good.
9:10 that's how I want my Sunday to be
Nice music,open roads, manual
I have this car in red. I love everything about it. Steering can feel a bit vague at low speeds but I chalk it up to electric steering.
6:20 that jeep held up well lmao
Just bought the 2.0t in auto. Completely blown away by how fast the car is. Couldn’t be happier
does it have VTEC ?
Correction: if you go to settings menu and "tachometer" settings, you CAN keep THE TACH on the outer ring, while displaying what you want in the middle.
Coming from Europe driving only manuals and mostly Hondas for 30 years, I got the 2.0 10-Speed Touring and i'm really happy with it.
I love my 2021 2.0t sport 10 speed but coming from an SI, I would've loved to have it in a 6 speed manual.
The best clear video of a Honda just like you were their yourself
It's cars like this that make my 1hr commute feel like 15 mins....
A little tip, you can go into the settings to adjust the tachometer to permanently stay in the background even when switching thru all the displays
Love your videos buddy..the best reviewer on TH-cam by a long shot for my money. Thanks for the always-great content!
I honestly haven't watched the night drive you posted yet so I apologize if you already addressed it there for whatever reason, but what type of fuel economy did you average with the car during your time with it (during what I assume was a lot of spirited driving)? I'll be in the market pretty quickly and have had my eye on the 2.0t sport for a while now. Thanks again!
Respect for how many Manual cars you find
I kinda miss that vtec kicking in. Those who know, will know what I mean. This engine sounds like a Honda, but when you get above 5k rpm, I’m just itching for that extra kick. Might have to keep my tsx 😂
They should make an update that allows you to pump in fake vtec noises.
Or use the blow off valve to create a new whisle type vtec
Glad to see they are still making manuals
Almost bought one of these.
But I bought a WRX instead.
No ragrats!
Not the same class tho😕
Questchaun I was thinking about getting a WRX but that premium gas was going to kill my wallet
@@The305skater so this 2019 accord doesnt require premium?
@@EzStevie2k2 no it doesn’t
This review pretty much sold me on the car. Love my 2.OT Manual! For everyone wondering about the Audio, YES it lacks low end but it's not like there isn't any bass either. I keep saying I'm going to get a sub but it hasn't been awful enough for me to pull the trigger on it. Also, you CAN see the tachometer all the time. You just have to go into Meter Setup under Settings > Vehicle. I have set it up and always have tach visible even when using things like the Navigation or Driver Assistance display.
This car needs to be a 2 door coupe !
Indeed, but the reason this car exist is because Honda took away the coupe. If we had the coupe, the 4 door, 2.0T manual wouldn't exist.
everyone likes it, no one buys it.
@@dirkcurritzki9585 also, everyone is only willing to buy it used.
The problem is the demographic that wants the coupe only has Civic si money. Thus why the coupe Accord died
Make a 2 door coupe same type r engine but in the Acura Badge
I had the great privilege of owning a 2019 Honda Accord Sport 2.0t in a manual for a full month. It was a great car just wasn’t for me. The stereo was very subpar, sounds like a Walmart speaker that they threw in the car. A digital NUMERICAL speed was not available in MPH only KM per hour in the center of the speedometer.!
Ended up trading it in for a 2018 Volkswagen Golf R. Love my car now! To the person that now owns the accord, treat her right for me!
Good to know I'm not the only one that did something like that. I have only had the car a few days and I already know I'm going to trade it in.
Wow what a car. This is real sedan truely
If Honda ever comes out with an AWD option with the 6 speed, I’m buying on sight
6 speed manual in the uss?? That's like a unicorn
Such a beautiful and well equipped car. Honda is really keeping the manuals alive and they will continue to sell more cars than its competitors because manuals are always a rare commodity
I Love This Car Smooth Manual Transmission 🔥 😍
There is a way to have the Tach up at all times... On the infotainment screen, go to Settings->Vehicle->Guage Setup and you should see something about a tachometer, set it to always on... So you can have the tachometer displayed and a second screen inside the tach for whatever you need
Dad drives a 2009 accord and I love it, idk why he likes the 2009 model more than the 2018 model even tho he also drives the 2018 model.😂
Private Hany Maybe he likes things analog no tech is great
that leaf was vibing in the trunk
This is a great video. Ive been looking into getting a wrx or one of these and man I’ve always had a crush on accords
Your videos are the only ones I've found on TH-cam. I really like your personal feel I terms of the review. Not a bunch of car jargon.
This accord is as cool as this channel
I really appreciate you putting the specs in the description!
I have a 2020 Sport 2.0T with the 10spd. I agree wholeheartedly with your takes. Car is so solid and fun! No real faults frankly for a 40 year old with no kids. I just sort of wish I held out for a 2021 TLX. Curious if you think the Advance package is a huge upgrade over the Accord enough to justify the price. My guess is no. Cheers!
I didn’t even know these came in a manual until now, that’s sweet!
Still loving my v6...
This has been my dream car since I was 13 and still going!
I've got those wheels on my 2016. I just bought it after a 3year lease. Love it. Got only 14,000 miles on it after my three years. Gonna have this car for a long time and the value right now is solid. I actually prefer my double screen than the single in the 2019.
Nice review and love car. Would prefer a re traditional looking wheel option, don’t think those will age well.
Watched your reviews and instantly started the buying process for one. Awesome car
I have a 2019 Si ,, I love the looks of this Accord a little more , but the Si has the LSD . Would have bought the accord but Si was cheaper
Get the Ktuner with the TSP tune and you'll REALLY love the Si!
@@e5m956 That is my plan I was gonna buy it right now , but I'm breaking in the car more, and there's other things I need to spend my money on. I think by next summer I'll have it for sure.
I love my Si with the TSP stage 1 tune. Also dropped it on BC coils, FX400 clutch, custom exhaust.. Fun car.
@@shangtsung1362 Yeah Another reason I want to wait til NExt summer to get the Ktuner with TSP tune is because I'd like to get at least a year out of a bran new clutch lol
@@Williaem00 F that! Have some fun! I still have all my stock parts sitting in the basement in great shape with basically no miles on them.
the best in car reviews
"for example.. uhhh.. heres my wallet."
me: "wow, you could probably fit 500 wallets in there."
😂
I was one of those die-hard manual only guys. I still have my little 03 civic with 5-speed manual trans. I'm also a semi truck driver so add 5 more gears to that. Everyone is gonna hate me for this but a couple years ago, I got the chance to driver a Tesla model S and OMGD I fell in love with it!! It completely changed my mind of buying a manual for my next car. My new dream car is the Tesla .. but I still have a place in my heart for manuals.
Doing great car reviews! Tom Cruise, is that you?
I love it, my next car for sure , thanks Honda for making a manual transmission option.
I just bought one, I use it to do Uber and Lyft and the riders ask me is this a Manual? I say yeap, they say, wow, neat. !!!
Who does uber with a 30k car..
Why not?
If James Bond drive nice cars to catch bad guys, why not me drive this car to drive nice people that pays for my car?
Rotiz You know Uber has a premium option right. Escalades are 100k SUVs that are used for Uber.
I love driving this car and get paid while doing it makes more sense.
Came here for two things.
1. Earthdreams Engine (no more VTEC, but IHDC)
2. Manual Transmission
This particular engine does still have i-VTEC but only on the exhaust side.
6:19 We can see how littel 2.0 turbo push away in left miror old atmo engines are past turbo old day...
engrish much?
