absolutely horrible user interface. Why??? Why make it so damn complicated? I don't need my thermometer to display me the time and date, i just need to simply know the numbers. Just the temperature. Is it that difficult to make a product not overly complicated? Trash product.
@@mr.goodcat582ok so you’re too stupid to not remember your previous temperature? This product is garbage, its functions do not meet the needs of everyday people. They overcomplicated a simple tool, most users want a simple user interface and they complicated it with memory and bluetooth… Poor product management.
I’m Glad it’s not just me that found this so hard to use. Thought I was loosing my mind each time I tried to simply take child’s temp. Get like throwing it at the wall 🤬
I thought I was the only one who didn’t know how to use this thermometer or that I got a broken one… I feel relieved now after searching for video information about it and seeing that other people also find it hard to use and not practical at all.
I wasn't able to connect to the app. Weirdly enough I did the same thing as you in the video and it connected and transferred all previous data. Didn't even get the 6 digig number to put in. Strange but it worked.
Hello, Thank you for your video, it tough me a lot, because recently I've purchased the same thermometer without manual. So far I've connected my device two times, because when I've purchased, the year was sat to 2028 and I didn't know how to fix that before watching your video, thanks for that. I've connected the thermometer without any issues both times. So, you should do the following: After the initial startup (time and date) and the bluetooth is blinking ON, you have to open the app, clicl Add device, choose this model (SFT81) and follow the steps. After you turn it ON, make an initial measure and right after it, press the M button. Instead of date and measured temperature, the display will show 6-digit number which you should type as a pairing code in the app and next click Pair, thats all. Let me know if this works. Best regards and thank you for the video.

@ Yes, it is really confusing. The other confusing thing is the measurement selection. You have to remember a couple of button schemes to select the different measurement options such as ear, forehead and surface. The most and may be the only cool feature is that the measurements are saved in the memory of the decice and later in the app after connection.

But accidentally connected it to my smart phone while watching your helpful video. It's late now but when I get time I will try connecting it again and when I am sure how I did it ill let you know how. John. 👍
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 YOUR VIDEO HELPED ME CONNECT TO IT, THE BOOK IS DUMB. But I got it to work, switch the BLUETOOTH to OFF then back to ON, then the thermometer ON and the number should pop! Or at least that's what happened to me, I had to switch Bluetooth on and of two times before the 6 digit code popped up.

If you got sick, you actually need to know how your temperature changes during a day and during the days you're sick.
In days it will come back in the shop, is it reliable or not?
My wife picked one up and im bringing it back. Poor build and unnecessary functions. Avoid this product.

this thermometer in NOT user friendly.Theres a thick user manual but has no clear instructions

How can you switch Bluetooth off pleases?
Press M until you're at the end of the menu it says on or off for the Bluetooth. You can change with S button
I encountered the same problem with the app then I realized I had to enter the full PIN number, 6 digits the small numbers also (upper the big one)

What is error 3 ?
Mine was also giving me the Er3 code. I had to take batteries out a few times and reinsert them. It eventually worked.

How did you switch the Bluetooth off? I hate it .I want only the normal use .no Bluetooth.
Too complicated… I don’t recommend it!
It doesn't do his job ..it's too complicated NOT recommendable AT ALL , screen too small and confusing the whole thing! not helpful. RUBISH
