    I'm seeing a lot of critiques in the comments, however I think this is a great mock! I know especially that doing a mock draft every week means that you have to mix things up sometimes to keep it interesting. I really like how this draft worked out. Keep up the great work! 👍

    Washington don’t run press man often. Wash traded William Jackson because he was a man corner and sucked in zone coverage. They’ll look for a better zone coverage or versatile player. Just a head up. They would likely trade down or take a olinemen.

    Pick a QB for Seattle, way more likely than not for several reasons, including no Geno.

    personally I think colts either trade up for stroud or stay at 4 and get Levis

    okay, so who are the vikings starting in their front 7? because we spent a 2nd and a 4th on a corner just a year ago.

    • @ultimatescouting
      @ultimatescouting  ปีที่แล้ว

      They could use some help there for sure, just think corner is their biggest hole right now. Could see them looking at DL for sure though! Who would be your pick if the board fell this way?

    • @MahrtianJukebox
      @MahrtianJukebox ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ultimatescouting I trade back for hopefully an early and a late 2nd. Resign duke shelley and tell him, dantzler, booth, evans, Harry, cine, bynum and metellus to figure it out in the secondary. would love to see a big anchor on the line and a linebacker to compliment. drew sander, ivan pace, jack campbell paired with a mazi smith, siaka ika or keanu benton. just some big dude who's gonna absorb 2 blocks so our linebackers can get freed up when shooting gaps. Kwesi could've had jordan davis last year but traded back for Cine and Booth, so if he goes corner again this early I'm going to give up on him already in his 2nd year as GM.

    • @ultimatescouting
      @ultimatescouting  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MahrtianJukebox Yeah getting a DT that could eat up blocks and a LB to replace Kendricks would make a ton of sense for them as well. I like Benton for them that would be a nice player in round 2 and maybe an athletic linebacker like Pace or Sanders like you said. Appreciate the feedback man!!

      It’s all about how comfortable teams will be with his off the field issues. Could still go #1 overall, could drop into the 20s depending on what teams think of his character

    Richardson leapfrogged possibly all QBs. He's a much bigger, much faster Jalen Hurts. Houston should draft him since they have David Mills so they don't need him to start just yet.

    • @ultimatescouting
      @ultimatescouting  ปีที่แล้ว

      Could be an option for sure, Richardson is so insanely gifted so I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he goes there or even potentially number 1 but I do think he still needs a lot of development to be successful in the NFL so sitting him at first like you said would be ideal

    Seahawks don’t need a wr at 20. They need D help

    • @ultimatescouting
      @ultimatescouting  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree they need to add to the defense in this mock they got Tyree Wilson which would be a great fit and most Seahawks fans hate the idea of a 1st round CB and I don’t think any LBs are worth a first rounder this year so I just went with someone I thought would fit in nicely with their offense! I get the argument tho for sure they need to add as much as possible to the front 7

  • @juan4198
    @juan4198 ปีที่แล้ว

    So screw the Colts for the next 3-4 years huh, lol? Richardson is super raw and has the highest bust potential out of all of them. We're gonna have a mostly new coaching staff, and some of our best players are reaching their prime years, if not there already. We don't have time to develop a guy who might not last past his first contract. Should've picked Levis. Athleticism and physical traits aren't everything.

    • @ultimatescouting
      @ultimatescouting  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve mocked Levis to the colts in probably my last 5 mocks, I think he is a great fit there. Just wanted to mix things up because I could see Steichen seeing some the things he did with Hurts and seeing some of that ability in Richardson. I have a higher grade on Levis than Richardson so I agree generally with what you are saying but Richardson has the highest ceiling of any QB in this class and Ballard loves to swing for the fences with traits

    • @juan4198
      @juan4198 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ultimate Scouting Ballard does love measurables, but he's gonna be under pressure from Irsay to make a good selection at qb with us having a rare opportunity to pick in the top 5 this year. I think Levis has the best balance of physique, toughness, football intelligence, and arm strength out of all the prospects, even if his inconsistent footwork does cause him to miss receivers by 5 yards every now and then. He's the best compromise pick. It'll satisfy Irsay, and Ballard can still have a guy with good measurables. He just needs to fix some mechanical issues.

    • @ultimatescouting
      @ultimatescouting  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@juan4198 that’s completely understandable, I think Levis is a bit overhated in this draft cycle I think he is much better than people think and completely agree that he would be a good fit in Indy, wouldn’t be at all surprised if he was the pick for them! They do need someone to start right away as well and I think he could step in and be decent day 1 while Richardson would benefit from some time to learn

    • @juan4198
      @juan4198 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ultimatescouting Yeah, Richardson could very well develop into a good qb, but he needs time. If we had a decent bridge qb who he could learn from for a few years, it may have been feasible, but we don't have one. He's probably better off going to a team that isn't 100% sold on their guy yet.

      @@matttully3178 I get the concern he is very small, but I am not sure that’s going to hold him back from a play style perspective, all about how you feel about his durability at that size

      @JC-xh9mp ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ultimatescouting you have absolutely no idea where Stetson Bennett is going in the draft.
      Nobody does.
      If he ends up starting next season I would not be surprised.
      He throws just as hard as Levis.
      Has better foot work.
      Has better pocket presence.
      He’s more accurate.
      He’s definitely quicker.
      And if he goes all out, just as fast.
      Anthony Richardson is the definition of an unproven product.
      He may check the physical boxes .
      But there is plenty of film of glaring issues with his decision making , accuracy and knowledge.
      Even though the media and GMs are playing games about Jalen Carter,
      They’re not stupid.
      He goes top 5 because, at the end of the day, he’s that good .
      If not , some team is going to get very lucky.
      Because he is legitimately a beast.

    • @ultimatescouting
      @ultimatescouting  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JC-xh9mp Man I just don’t even remotely agree about Stetson, no chance he goes before round 4, just no way. He’s short, 25 and doesn’t have a good arm. He can be a quality backup but no way he goes early this draft cycle. Carter could be the 1st pick or drop into the 20s, just depends how confident teams are in his character
