Brent is a nice grab in the 3rd. But he's not 6-4. I was excited about the size, but I think I saw he measured at more like 6 two and a half. Still bigger than the other guys, but not as much as I initially was lead to believe by his profile before the combine. Still, with his leaping ability, gonna have a huge range of coverage area.
Nice pick for NE. Freeland fits right into their zone blocking scheme. Might be able to step in and start immediately, move Brown to right where he's better anyway.
@@teej11 I'm not sure they need to. His salary isn't a problem for a starting tackle. They save money by extending Henry, cutting or renegotiating smith, and maybe extending or cutting a few smaller deals. I think they start with like 30 mil in cap space, and can get to 50 pretty painlessly.
I think anudike uzomah could sneak into the first round. I'd be blown away if he is still on the board in the 3rd. Adebewore also. He's gotta be a 1st rounder after Indy. 25ish maybe? A week ago I'd have been surprised if Andre Carter was still on the board in the 3rd. Today I'm not. 11 reps smh. Clark Phillips III, if only he was adult sized. Still feels late for him. I’d be pretty happy with Gonzalez, Jones, and Hall. Raiders can release Chandler Jones next season without too much dead money so getting a replacement that can still contribute this year as a rotational piece is an underrated move. Gonzalez is a CB1 which the Raiders badly need and Dawand Jones is a good pick if the Raiders don’t resign Eluemunor (or move him to guard).
@@Ramboo000 Agreed but this would be a good scenario if the Raiders decide to not go with a rookie QB. That said, if Stroud is there at #7 on draft day I don’t think the Raiders should hesitate.
Reports are the Seahawks are working on a contract with Geno Smith. If he ends up getting one I think the possibility of the Seahawks drafting a QB this year are slim to none. But if they end franchise tagging him I wouldn’t be surprised if the Seahawks go Richardson at #5.

Brents to me might have been the biggest winner of the combine (hot take maybe?) but 6'3 corner with a 6.63 3 cone and 34" arms... he's an alien!

Can’t fill every need in the draft. Seahawks can pick up a center in free agency. This would be a pretty good class for you guys imo.
