Guys--I'm enjoying your videos SO much! You're in one of my favorite parts of the world with this video. I'm sure you're long gone by the time this is posted, but a few suggestions: Stewart's Point General Store for lunch; Point Arena Lighthouse; Skagg's Springs Road to Lake Sonoma (but NOT with the trailer!); Booneville (one of my favorite little towns anywhere.) But, heck, you clearly know what your'e doing. I'll leave off here. Thanks so much for allowing me to travel with you. I've been stuck in the Northeast since covid. You're both great!
We have indeed moved on from the area but will be putting all your suggestions on the list for next time, so thank you! We appreciate the kind words and we're happy to share a little window into this area for you! Be well!
Bodega Bay was our favorite beach when I was growing up. We camped at Bodega Dunes a few times over the past 50 years. Love the Pacific Ocean! That hike to the light house is an awesome hike. We’ve done it so many times. We LOVE Point Reyes National Seashore. Looks like you had a wonderful time at the Northern CA coast. Love the videography and all of the flowers! Samuel P Taylor is always cold because it is in the shade but it is a beautiful campground. We camped there for our daughter’s 11th birthday in November. Quite memorable. It was cold and windy most of the time. If you like Amy’s meals, there is a fast food restaurant that is AMY’s in Petaluma. It is their flagship restaurant. Amy’s foods started in Petaluma. It is right off of Highway 1. Enjoy the coast!! :D
Point Reyes is so beautiful, even shrouded in thick fog we loved it. Samuel P Taylor was a lovely forested campground. If we had a generator it would be an entirely different story! Never realized Amy's was an actual restaurant, that's so cool! We'll definitely have to put it on the list for next time!
Years ago we towed our Scamp with my old Xterra along that stretch of the 1, but we’re going South, so YES white knuckle 😳 Paso looked so peaceful out there in the sun!
Sonoma Coast State Park has two campgrounds, Bodega Dunes and Wrights beach, which is spectacular if you can get a reservation and our monthly one niter
It's incredible how handsome Paco is! The intro with Paco in it is everything. Did you guy get any vid of the 1? I (Lou) an incident on the Pacific Hwy in California with a pop up camper. It was nerve-wracking. I had to change a tire!!!!!! Lou & Angie
Oh geez!! That would be incredibly nerve wracking! There’s barely any place to pull over! We are continuing up the 1 from here and will have some footage in next week’s episode 😀 Paco says thank you! 🐾❤️
Lawson landing used to be wide open until the ecologists found red-legged Fogg was being in danger. So 75 aces were shut down for boondocking. Yes, staying on hy 1 is Petty windy. Need to use hy 101 through Petaluma. Foggy on the coast. Thanks Don
@@WanderlandTravelers Our favorite place as well. We've been camping there for over 20 years now. We downsized our rig so now we can get into more places there. We're camping at Doran Beach close to the water soon so that will be a new experience. Enjoying your channel, happy we found it. 👍
Doran Beach looks like a fantastic spot! We started out in a motorhome and downsized to our trailer to fit in more places. We considered a truck camper, which would’ve opened up even more options, for sure. Enjoy and safe travels!
Funny you should ask, we just wrote a blog post about our top ten destinations... we couldn’t pick just one! ☺️ wanderlandtravelers.com/2021/05/04/five-years-on-the-road-our-10-favorite-destinations/

There’s also Goat Rock, Guernville, and all of the little roads that lead to Comptche! You gave them a good list to come back for!
@@julieh3327 Some of those are new to me, too, Julie! Thanks so much.

A better view heading south but right on the edge! It’s a beautiful drive if you’re the passenger and can look at it 😆
Looks like a beautiful trip up the coast! Your green plants in the RV add such a nice touch. :)
The coastline is astounding. We’ve had more cool weather than expected but you just gotta roll with it! I love having plants in here ☺️ thanks!!
Beautifully filmed as always, thank you!
Thank you! 💙

Awesome video with breathtaking views.

I drove up 'The 1' from Half Moon Bay to Bodega Bay took an extra Hour to get there...... but worth it!!
It’s slow going but so incredible 🙌 one of our favorite areas!!
