- Hi all, here's an installation from last Wednesday, this is an OEM-style system for the Ford Transit Custom, and it's a cracking upgrade, we even put in a rear camera for the customer.
This system is the 9456 and it has several features you're gonna want to have in your Transit as well. This system fits the 2013-21 Ford Transit and Tourneo, and is a great addition to the car!
This system has 4/64GB of RAM and ROM as well as an 8-Core Processor, meaning it's a very quick system once installed, it works with the wheel controls.
The system is running on Android 12.0 OS meaning you have access to the Google Play store to download all your favourite applications, like Spotify, Waze, Amazon Music and more directly onto the system for on-the-move usage!
The system also has built-in Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto for increased communication between the system and your phone, transferring the apps over onto the system for Messages, Calls, Music and Maps all via the Bluetooth Connection and your phones DATA!

How can I play live tv on the unit via hotspot…. ITVX doesn’t play
hi mate i baught this and it come with out a canbus adapter and it wont power up can u direct me to were to purchase this or is ther away round this ?
Hi there, I have installed similar unit on my transit cystom with the canbus box, unfortunately the sterring wheel control not working, I can't program from the unit menu. Tried different harness loom and canbus boxes already but no success. Could u give me some tip how to make it work? Thanks

@@connoroshea-raza739 Yes, I did. The answer is in the video, the cable from the top display needs to be connected to the android unit harness loom.

Hi Rob, great video and just purchased the same head unit, can you please advise which canbus did you use RAISE RX-09 or FD110? something else.

Do parking sensor display images come on that screen or the old small screen above it? And if the original small screen isn’t used is there not a way to get rid of it and put a new trim panel on?
Ok so the small LCD panel needs to be disconnected during the installation, as this is how the steering wheel controls are kept working on the new system, the parking sensors would come up on the new screen instead, and if you had a rear camera that would show at the same time also, as for the trim question, we've not had anything on this I'm afraid, I couldn't recommend a solution, other than getting something custom made to disguise the hole?

I have this integrate LED screen with picture from original reverse camera, menu of original Radio etc..... Is the screen still working after installation of Android Radio? Thank you. Tom
No, sorry, the LCD screen would stop working, as this information needs to be converted onto the new screen, the LCD won't work atop the unit

HI, you keep it attached and hidden behind the dash. Easily can remove the circuit board part of the button and hide behind the dash.
Hey does it also work with the OEM USB behind the steering wheel? And if so how to install the usb cable?

No, usually the original camera needs to be swapped for an aftermarket version, however we supply one in the box for you if you order
How far to you travel to install mate?
We're based in the North West, but we prefer our installations on site, we're in Bromborough in the Wirral
does the pdc still work
If you have parking sensors or a reverse camera, assuming they're using RCA cables usually yes it'll work with them, but sometimes the system will only support aftermarket variants depending on if the system works with the OEM systems in the car
Is this plug and play ?
For the most part yes, the main issues people have are once the units in, and first time setup of features like the Carplay/Android Auto, or getting the Microphone or Bluetooth connected correctly, but yes, all the wiring is plug and play, just have to remove the trim/dash correctly also
