Thank you very much and please keep uploading your very interesting videos.
Hello. The shell has a type of foam gasket along the front and sides, between it and the metal bed, but it has started to come off at the rear corners, so some dust does come in, though the tailgate is the biggest problem. I put adhesive foam all around it and that helps a lot. I would recommend fixing all the places where dust and water can enter before putting the shell on. A pickup truck bed isn't designed to be water or air tight. The places where dust and/or water can enter are easier reached before the top is on. But dust is really hard to keep out completely. I always avoided drilling holes through the body or the shell, so no ceiling fan or vent. We often cook inside and with a window slightly open and the back window also a bit open there is enough ventilation. We've rarely had to sleep with windows open, so for us a ceiling vent or fan hasn't been a necessity. It depends on the climate where you are. I hope that helps. It's not that easy to find one with enough headroom that allows you to sit upright on a bed platform above the wheel arch and not touch the roof with your head.
