That's quite a run of bad luck. The Spybot at 3:08 should have advanced the Raiders 3 spaces rather than dealing damage, so the Raiders actually would have caught you at 7:35.

The game itself fits on a small playmat. The DustRunner playmat makes it a much larger game, with a lot of dead space. Its the only time I never bought the playmat (as well as having "Exploration Deck" written when the game has more to do with racing than exploring).
Whenever I play, I never accept anything less than 32 VP ("Radical"). I pretend the actual scenario is you going out scavenging for equipment, represented by VP. Hence needing a minimum amount, and making the "Exploration" deck more aptly named. Otherwise the game is too easy (and I still often win even with my standard).
That sounds like a cool way to play. I may give that a go. I absolutely love Dustrunner, but I do agree it’s a bit on the easy side. I’m excited about the new cards coming out for it.
