Welcome to Weather Watcher! I’m 17 years old, and as my channel name implies, I love weather! Throughout my life, I’ve had many interests and hobbies, but none of them have stuck with me quite as long as meteorology.
It all started in 2021 when I created my TH-cam channel. At first, I didn’t really have a plan for what I would post; but it wasn’t long before I began creating forecasts. My weather forecasts and then eventual incorporation of livestreams helped my following grow steadily between late 2021 into 2023.
In early 2023, I finally started using my real voice to narrate my forecasts, which was a challenge for me personally… but it proved to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my channel. By October 2023, my channel underwent another major change… tracking European weather!

• Quite a few comments coming from some viewers in the the UK/Ireland, saying that it hasn’t been warmer than usual. I did mention in this video how it’s been warmer than usual across *most* of Europe, not all, so that doesn’t necessarily mean I implied this for the UK. Also, remember that cloudiness and rain can make it feel much cooler than it really is, especially if there’s any kind of breeze involved.
• The video is focusing on a large low pressure area dislodging a cold airmass from Greenland, which will allow it to sink down into northern portions of Europe, lowering temperatures further.

Huge amount of geoengineing yesterday across Europe! Today full cloud cover across Europe! It's being engineered, food shortages coming!!!
I have a small electronic weather station, I am seeing stuff never know for this tim od year. It is true that Britain has sufferd low tempretures over the last three years at times that they are not usually experienced as well as increased rain. The MET office may not agree but I know what I see.
I use local meteorological stations, the average day temp has been around 11°C for the last 3 weeks for my area. High winds and lots of rain. Overnight has barely been above 8°C couple that with the wind chill......also lots of persistent contrails.

Notice on the ITVweather tonight that the presenter told us that spring was the highest temps on record. They must be living on another planet to me. It’s rained almost constantly for going in for two years. It’s cloudy most days with inky glimpses of the sun from time to time. This makes it feel colder than normal.The winds along the east coast are coming from the North Sea and make the temps cold. The fields around my home are waterlogged nearly all the time meaning that the water levels are higher than normal yet they are trying to tell us to save water as we could face shortages this summer.

We have not had higher temperatures here in the Uk.Even my fruit and vegetables are not growing🥁

That doesn’t apply to everyone. Most of Europe has seen above normal temperatures but that may exclude some places.

The figures used to calculate are for 1960 through to 1990 however the 60s 70s and 80s were coming to the end of a cold period so the average winter temperature in the UK is based the coldest figures available CC is a con for the foolish nothing more but certainly less

June early 1970s there was snow in England, didn't last long
Snowed on my birthday June 2nd when I was small probably same year 1945/6. That was Ilford Essex uk. Late May is very tricky weather for veg in Uk Frost etc at night even if early May is warm.

80 years ago D-Day was delayed because of a large storm. Just 2 weeks later was another bigger storm that destroyed the Mulberry Harbour run by the US.

Theese seem to be "on average" temperatures. It's 19 right now where I am witch is about what it should be this time of year. The average for early June is 18c so it's about right.

Sure, or could it be that warm weather allows for oceans to vaporize water into cloud? You could almost say it's a cycle of some sort?
Or could it be that they're messing with nature?
Last Monday it was 20 degrees and blues sky except there was enormous amount of chetrails being sprayed with planes flying above our heads. The very NEXT DAY weather changed into very icy cols winds with rain and super low temperarures.
It is geoingeneering that causes it and we are doing it in front of our eyes!
Don't forget in the UK especially their temp readings come mainly from built up areas, such as Heathrow one of the World's busiest Airports et al. I guess their manipulation of figures really cannot be verified . The weather forecasting in the UK is abysmal and their 'Deep Dives' and extended weather details is really just statistics. Basically, here in the UK weather forecasting is a joke and hardly relevant when the head of the Met Office admits clouding skies to save us all from catastrophe by Too much Sun !!! Meanwhile people are getting sicker as they fck about with our sunshine and no one is getting UV/Infra Red waves for our health and Vitamin D levels are almost zeroed out

No, the skies are not being sprayed with aerosols to block the sun during the winter to mitigate climate change. Similar claims with different contexts have surfaced over the years and have been debunked.
There is small-scale research into solar geoengineering, which sprays aerosols into the atmosphere to reflect some sunlight back into space. That is being done by researchers at Harvard University, but it is not widespread and very preliminary.

Saw planes last night spraying suddenly skies went grey and temperatures dropped quickly
@@redbeard3923 I witnessed this on Saturday morning, I didn’t see the planes but I did see the contrails, very wide and then the cloud and “white “ came together, within half an hour the tempreture started to drop.

As someone who has monitored environmental conditions as a part of my job for the last 33 years, I can assure you that temperatures in the UK are well below normal. Something the UK met office are lying about.
Very odd weather in the Veneto, north Italy.
Thunder storms, rain, unusual cloud cover and a cold chill in the air.
We seem to have 1 or 2 days of warm weather then 4 to 5 days of semi autumnal weather.
Never experienced this before.

Very low temperatures, like June in 1978, snow for a day. Wind chill was 6 degrees here in the n.w of the U.K. We're struggling to get 15 degrees, plenty of rain early spring. We do wonder if we'll get a cold July and August?

We've had ice cold weather here in Ireland for the past three weeks, and we're now into the third week of June. Highs of 12 or 13 degrees every day.

Still very cool and windy here on the west coast of Ireland for June. 14 degrees C. This time last year it was 10 degrees C higher. Any idea when this might improve?
Im seeing possible improvements later this week, but unfortunately it may come with rain. I’ll keep watching!

Absolutely right about the high temperatures. Here in Finland we had a record number of days in May in recorded history when the temperature rose above +25 for 16 days. It was nice after 6 months of snow on the ground. The previous record was 14 days in 2018.
Was interesting to see about the low pressure developing in the north Atlantic, I think we're getting a lot of rain in Finland on the second week of June. Thanks for the video!

Wish I had not sold all my windsurfing kit 5 years ago - it’s cracking weather here for blasting around on Loch Lomond - strong steady N’ly wind, 22C in my garden but the water is still a bit chilly at 12C this morning - just have to not fall in! Still winter thickness wetsuit weather …………
And I have to say goodbye to ice bathing in March. Water is too warm then here in my lake (Germany)

Casting my mind back to last 'Summer' it was almost the year without in the UK... Same again this year?
The jet stream stood its ground, looping around the UK as a buffer from any continental heat.
And still the main stream media bang on about global warming.
Temperatures have been sub-normal in the Netherlands since February. Spring never came. Always grey skies with 3 to 5 degrees celsius, below seasonal norms becoming a constant. Maybe a eight or nine days of sunshine over these last three months, some heavy rain, wind and hail storms, but overall... cold and cloudy. On and on and on...
It's incredibly depressing, overall. Even too chilly for evening terraces, mostly. Blaaaahhh... we all need a break from these doldrums. Not just a teaser that's whisked away just as we start feeling good, again !
Portugal: 8 June, non stop storms and alot of rain since 6 June before that weather looked like good hot summer days, in a few hours weather changed to a winter.

Here in South west France it’s been wetter and colder than the last 10 years off winters.

I know the moon is on Thursday but even so the tide came rushing in today here in Donegal plus one hour like February or March then it was sunny and warm, nothing too strange for around here to be honest

In contrary to most national weather stations and account on youtube, this weather forecast regularly explains the bigger picture behind the problem. The way it's being mapped out here is something 'normal' national weather stations would keep to themselves. Compared to this, the result of normal weather stations is is a very limited, flawed and dumbed down weather forecast wich fails on a regular basis. This however almost makes national weather forecast look like amateurs.

The Met Office says it’s been warmer than normal but I have never put the heating on in June or the electric blanket. The cold weather is due to melting of the arctic and cooling the sea! Sending cold winds and weather our way! Climate change is getting worse faster and faster!

The weather will be unstable for the year, with El Niño dragging on until the end of February instead of stopping in the end of November last year and the sun is doing its 14 year pole flip cycle we get excessive solar radiation and our magnetic field gets messed around so everything in the higher spheres it’s going to contort jet streams and gulf streams etc. it’s not the end of the world

Been struggling here in The Netherlands too. Flowers seem to bloom weeks faster, but everything seems to be eaten up by slugs! Yesterday I put some seeds in the ground, hoping that the weather in the near future will be in our favour and that the slugs will stay away...

It's worth noting that, as well as cloud seeding or solar radiation management, global temperatures have fallen by 1.5 degs C over the last 20 years. NOAA recently published the data and mainstream media seemed to have missed it.
We discussed this in another thread and your source is NOAA 's average of maximum deviation (with obviously was higher in the past) and you twist it in conspiracy theory. Climate is warming. Period

In Nederland, they have raised manual the water level by 0.5m, so the cows can't go outside anymore. Iff this will not finish there activity, the will fors them to sell there land.😡 Milions off trees will die in the next years, because they have NO food (good C02). Many are alraedy in survival mode ( smalle leaves), or not enough leaves. To much to tell and my English is not so good . Maybe I'm crazy 🤔

A spokesperson from the Met Office said they were creating a cloud layer to reflect the sun back into space to cool the earth. What a load of bol*** ks. There's an old Scottish saying "ne'er cast a clout 'till the end o' May is oot". Which means never throw a cloth (jacket, blanket) away until the end of May due to cold weather and possibly frost. It's rained almost non stop since last year. The field behind us has had crops in it for last 5 years and this year huge areas have failed due to flooding. That never happened before. Ground is so wet. This week has been gorgeous but it was still raining last night.
Thanks for that it almost caused a punch up at our bowling club.Never shed a clout.Cheers🏴

@@justinlinnane8043 I was talking about the temperatures, not the rain. From the end of 2022 to now it hasn't been too hot (apart from June and September of last year), it's much easier for me to cope. When it's like 28 or more i feel like I'm just going to melt.
@@gehwissen3975 I hate climate change. If anything it's made it more sunny, which some people might like, but consequently there's less rain so crops can't grow, everything dries up and becomes like a tinderbox ready to ignite at any moment.

Watched the patchwork of trails yesterday, which was a nice day, and I thought, oh, , will be cloudy tonight and tomorrow again. And was right again.

We were discussing the snow and ice that was found yesterday in the hills north of Savona in Italy on Sat/Sun. It is just chilly here still and although we have missed most of the storms so far, just distant lighting and rumbles, we are cold. Colder than the I have known since 2016. We are curling up at night on the sofa with our blankets still !
Yes, there was a storm system that actually dropped temperatures below average across France and Italy, so that makes sense. It looks like it will be warming up in the coming days, while the north gets a turn with the cooler temperatures.

Europe has abnormal high temperatures ?? I am 64 and never in my life have I ever known HOME HEATING need to be on in April and May its colder then I can ever remember so not sure what Europe you are on about
Just look over at Scandinavia where they’ve had FAR warmer than average temperatures, along with many other places. Even though the UK/Ireland or another region of Europe hasn’t seen as much of that “abnormal warmth”, doesn’t mean it’s nonexistent.

What ‘above normal temperatures’? Last week in southern England it was 14C during the day and went down to 9C during the night - I used a secon duvet and had a hot water bottle that night!
Referring mostly to mainland Europe. The UK has been hovering between the average/below average mark for a while, with brief periods of warmer weather. This system coming in is just going to bring a much more widespread wave of colder air
Being polite, honest! Another point, though: I'm getting worried about how the wheat and other grain crops are going to ripen this summer if this summer, with all this cold, rain, floods and grey cotton-wool clouds constantly overhead.

Lots of people have mentioned the issues with crops in the UK from all the rain too. I’m honestly hoping it calms down soon.
