@@frankz1125 If it were me doing it. I would roll and soak in oil so it would last. Then to me the work went in it pays off for the long term. I would not use any sort of sealer or paint just good motor oil. Done i would say and after a few years do it again. Will last for ever if repeated every few years or so plus always looks sort of fresh in comparing to letting the sun age it out and dry it out. TC
and just pick the log up and put it on your shoulder LOL, my cousin makes decorative tables outa wood like that covered it lots of clear resin, good money .
You will have a great looking place with siding like that.

Its more work then that for tables and it takes a lot of equipment. I am using this tree for siding. Ill make a video showing what Im doing . Cheers
