My back up solar power generator. Well everyone has there gas generators running I have power stored from the sun. And since I don't have to pay for fuel I might as well run my system every day.
Im am also making video reveiws on solar equipment including Charge Controllers, Inverters,Batteries, Balancers and much more. I am not off grid yet but I am working towards a solar system thathas little to no power limitations, like on grid. I hope you find my channel informative and fun. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more...

Road Side Logging & Dead Tree Felling

DIY Bathroom Make Over

The wife has been on me to redo the bathroom. mainly the tub area. We removed all the old tile . There was a lot of leaks that needed attention. I figured it best to removed and replace everything. I also redone the plumbing with new faucets. This is how it all turned out. Also got to use some of my custom milled White Pine for the trim. Let me know in the comments below how I did. Oregon Dremel File Replacement

I have finally got time to start this build. It will be a multi part video of what I do to upgrade the 72v lead acid batteries to 86v lithium ion batteries. New 3000w controller but I don't have the money to upgrade the motor. So we will see how long it lasts. Lol. Part 1 is the planning and removal of things to be replaced. Outback 2524 as a UPS. DIY Generator Panel

In this video I reinstall the Outback 2524 as a backup for a sump pump and a furnace. This system was setup in another video as well. There is a long wait for generator panels. Trying this John Deer 260 Snowblower on the back of my 1964 IH B414. It's very heavy and gives a lot of extra traction. So far so good. Can't wait for snow now. Last year we had 3 feet at Christmas. I wasnt able to find the follow up for this video. Did you happen to make ome tearing down the individual modules? Im curious what cells they use and what they could be replaced with today.
@@RAD-RC ya I've made a few on these packs . Solar builds mainly. Click on my name and you can go to my channel. Cheers

I wonder how much each Clarity actually cost Honda to make. I'll bet they were losing money on each one.
I know they didnt make the batteries. They got them from another company. Blue Energy I believe. Thanks for watching
Great video, how wide and long is the full battery pack?
@@teslatrash4601 not sure exactly but I'd say close to 4 foot square. Maybe 1 foot thick. Thanks for watching
Good build!
Cool
Quite a power user when tramped lol
6:09 - Oops, soldered the fuse up (far side). On some packs they have a notch so the narrow part of the nickel is the fuse, in this one they have 4 spot welds on each end of every battery, but then the whole thing runs through 2 spot welds where those two pieces join. Now will your solder work as a fuse in case of catastrophic failure? Probably. Not as predictably. Learning about these packs myself, not ripping on Frank here guys, just pointing it out for everyone else looking to fix a battery.
Hopefully the bms will handle any failures. The packs I've repaired have worked so far. Time will tell. Thanks for watching

Another fine job installed by Frank Z & happy home owners for sure, it;s crazy the price increases on this stuff in just the past 2 years. I've been flying under the radar with my system for 5 years & it's been working great but soon gonna have to permit up for cabin build, not looking forward to it, yikes !
Thank you. Why permit up? Unless you are going grid tied. I wouldnt bother . Its a money grab. Make sure you are safe and do things right. Cheers

Glad u appreciate my sense of humor. But to b honest it's actually about0.3 tenths
lots of work there, my little 80v chain saw would get through one piece and be dead. lol
ya it would be a big job for an e chainsaw. Lol

That is quite a collection of saws and nice load of culls.
Really nice wood for sure but there's some heavy rounds to deal with. Hope all is well. Cheers
Nice. Been cutting down sugar maples last 3 week. Got 3 9' x16" pieces on the chain saw mill bench. Start milling them today . The sections were to straight to buck them up. Dumping sap like crazy here.😅
@@TheKiloG69 sap is running here too. What you doing with the milled maples?
@@frankz1125Try to make decorative wall covering or something I hope , will see when they dry out. May do a video of milling it. It will be a experiment. Hope all is well! All good here in New Brunswick, i just finished up a 15 kw diy grid tie. Probably keeping the 36v bank out of the equation for now, not exactly a cUL rated product. 😂. Think I’ll use the 36v stuff for a pool pump this summer. Gonna try a submersible wood stove to heat it, we’ve got enough dead fall around here lately to keep it going no problem. Just bought a hyper dual suspension e-bike last week, they dropped down to $598. Thing is a riot, keeping it stock. 😂.
Would be cool to try an underwater woodstove for a hot tub or pool. Thanks for watching and sharing

Yep it is going around again get some rest and water. I guess you just want a little more speed for that run to town lol.
