Definitely one of the most satisfying sports moments ever to me, seeing Giannis win on a 50 point game, silencing all the critics, doubters, media, players, all the people hating and undervaluing him, it felt so damn good to see such a great guy win
i liked how people pretend like being that tall makes him a great player...many bigs can not even shoot or dribble..its harder actually...most wings can do both..it comes natural for them..so if they fail its cause they suck...a big is rarely kd and giannis good
@@anitamae2196 lol as stupid as the counting fans in the arena was it was loud as fuck and probably affecting him. But he was so dominant in those finals, his size, athleticism, finishing, and handling is much more than height.
You're right that it feels good to see someone like Giannis win. However, you're very wrong about how he silenced anybody hating and undervaluing him. They still don't talk about him as an MVP candidate and some actually rather would take Ja Morant over him.
Had to laugh at Bayless who graciously conceded that despite having no "killier will" and not being "That Guy" (whomever, or whatever that is!?!?), Giannis' playoff series performances were purely the result of "hustle" as opposed to talent, intelligence, physical superiority. Because as we know guys like Pat Bev and Draymond are always racking up 50pt games with double-digit rebounds in the playoffs!
Most bench guys hustle. And work hard at their games. Really, in every sport. But they don't have that physical base to work off of. And he works on his game like a guy that's getting cut at training camp. Giannis came from a league that was compared to a YMCA rec league and went to the NBA right away. He can QB a defense when a guy like KAT who played high level basketball all his life and was a strong defender in college can't figure it out. He's a top help defender when a lot of athletic players are just spazzes who can't figure out where to help. And he is a lockdown one on one defender. That's just on D - if anybody told you the 15th pick was a rebounding/defending monster you'd be happy with that. And Giannis did that in less than 10 years.
Dude watching Skip call all of Giannis' great play "hustle" plays was just... disgusting. Sure, Giannis IS hustling. Aka - he's trying. It's the damn playoffs, shouldn't everyone be trying at 100% max effort? If you aren't, then get the hell off the court. But it worked better for him then most because of many factors. Physical superiority - he's just stronger physically than basically anyone on the court. Credit to his weight room work ethic and his personal trainers. We praise other players who just "want it more than anyone else" Giannis wanted this title more than anyone else on the other team and we pass it off as "hustle" play instead of "killer will". He willed his team to Bucks in Six. 50 piece. 35, 12, and 5 for the first time ever in finals history. 60% shooting. If that's what hustle alone gets you, then damn, give me hustle over skill any day. Reality is: Giannis has been consistently one of the most disrespected super stars in media history. You know who has choked more than Giannis? Chris Paul. Why isn't he called a choker? James Harden, why isn't he called that? Joel Embiid. Why doesn't anyone say that about him? Why is GIANNIS a choker with questions of if he can be the lead guy on a championship team, when so many others always fall short. People love Dame - has he done what Giannis has? No? So he's a choker, right? These narratives never existed for those players. But they did for Giannis. I hope Giannis goes on to chip up a few more times and just shut the whole world up about who he is. Even now "only has a title because of injury". Bucks were hurt too. Including Giannis. Oh, and against the nets? KD needs a super team to beat Giannis then? Is that what the media is saying? Damn, then just how good IS Giannis?
I am a lifelong Bucks fan (50 years) and as such, I can shed a bit of light on all this vitriol being spewed at Giannis. Reason one: he upsets the apple cart by being loyal and appreciating building a championship team and not buying one as almost every other champion since 2010 has. Reason two: the NBA hates him and never wanted him to stay in Milwaukee, because it is a small market. More than any other major pro sport, the NBA likes it’s superstars in bigger markets to maximize marketing options and rake in more money. The NBA has been this way since David Stern took over as commissioner and has only gotten worse under Adam Silver ( The Bucks were fined for tampering when they announced, while he was still under contract that they intended to sign him to a Supermax extension. How exactly is that tampering. He is their own player and is under contract). Reason three: Sports writers and commentators don’t like to be wrong on their predictions and will not admit they are wrong until you force them to. These vindictive morons will not admit they are wrong until the Bucks win one or two more championships.
What amazes(d) me about Giannis is how he performed after that knee injury. I mean, that injury was really severe. His knee bent backwards and yet he returned for the finals and DOMINATED! That was crazy.
Some Giannis fans act like it was a two month injury, and him, being a freak of nature recovered in a week. The reality is that the injury wasn't that severe. And I'm in some way a fan of Giannis too, but come on people.
@@youtubesubtitles9741 I've seen players go out for weeks on the same type of contact. This is not really to Giannis' credit, more a combination of good luck and good genes, but it ended up being just a hyperextension which is really, really lucky when you see how much his knee bent. Those accidents are scary, especially on such big guys.
@@youtubesubtitles9741 so basically we agree: the injury wasn't severe... But not many people would've gotten out of that contact with just a hyperextended knee! That's a full Capella on your knee!
To call Giannis overrated or a choker is offensive when you just consider where he came from and his transformation over the last 8 years. Just on a basic human level, not even considering his abilities and stats mentioned in the video, prior to getting drafted he was selling DVDs on the street and sharing shoes with his brothers so he could survive and play. Name me one "Superstar" player in the league who had it tougher than that. A lot were playing on pampered AAU teams and overly-funded basketball programs. He came into the league as a lonely, unproven, wide-eyed, scrawny 18 year kid. His determination and will are unmatched by anyone in the league. When you look at what he came from and look at everything he has accomplished, even if you took away his NBA title, what he has done in 8 years is amazing. I just don't get how anyone could hate on him. How can you hate on that? It just really bothers and offends me when I hear that crap. People don't think he has guts or determination. Really? Last I checked he came from practically nothing, to a name they can't get out of their mouth. Look in the mirror, losers.
What a great perspective on Giannis' life, development and success. For me he made his freaking statement 3 years ago - the championship just adds on it

The James Harden insult is the funniest to me. He's 6'5" which makes him taller than 99% of men on the planet. I could see if Chris Paul or Allen Iverson said it, but not Harden.
@@weakboy6871 Not short for the NBA either though. Allen Iverson was a superstar at only 5'11" and Chris Paul is only about 6'0". They're the ones who can make comments like that without being hypocrites.
From that horrific knee injury to that block on Deandre Ayton..."from one extreme to the next." One of the things that frustrates me about the criticism of Giannis is that people forget that he did not grow up playing basketball from an early age like most of his NBA peers. His development of his own game comes on a very steep curve.
@@solascriptura-e7t which is scary since you can actually see what talent could be, if it work not hard ,but harder with dedication. Only few who do so unlike those so-called super stars. Not gonna put names here, but yeah. You guys know who those players are.
51 yr old wife and mother here. Never cared about NBA. Giannis changed that. I see what you see... a champion. There is NO one like him in the NBA. He does it on his terms. Fantastic analysis. Reminder to the world.... The Bucks played the ENTIRE playoffs without their injured starting shooting guard. They were every bit as injured as every other team out there. No one was immune.
Finally someone acknowledge that Divencenzo was injured, and it's always refreshing knowing it's not just dudes that are die hard nba fans, it makes me feel good for some reason knowing everybody watches.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I've been saying that about Donte D this whole time when everyone talks about the injured Hawks and Nets. Giannis also had a bad injury. Also welcome aboard the Bucks train. (I was born and raised in Milwaukee). I've also said this. Because of this finals having 2 smaller market teams in revitalized the league. I said it probably got some fans back and gained some new ones! I also think Giannis has taken over Leflop's title as the face of the league! Thank you for affirming my thoughts on this!
I live in Milwaukee and wasn’t really a big NBA fan. I would go to some games in the past when Lebron, Dwayne Wade, Curry, or Rose came to the stadium. Aside from that I wouldn’t really pay much attention. In his rookie year I saw him at the mall with my brother. My bro asked me if I knew who that was. I had no idea, but he was absolutely nice taking pictures with the fans at the mall. Since 2016 I’ve gone to many games now cause of him. The energy and passion he brings the city is unique. I don’t understand how NBA fans or other team fans dislike him, a talented but hardworking individual. The best thing is that he’s a genuine person. Hats off to the Greek Freak!
Good post! I was too young to appreciate Kareem & the big O win it in 1971, but my older brothers had a life size poster of Kareem hanging in our home. In the late 70s & early 80s I watched many Bucks games with the great Marques Johnson (Michael Jordan had his poster up on his college dorm room) & Sidney Moncrief, but they never got past the 76ers & Celtics. It was great to see the Bucks finally win it all in 2021!
I'm a lakers fan he been my favorite player since kobe retired honestly only one who reminds me of that terrifying willpower and work ethic kobe had was jumping up and down when he got the chip
I'm really not a fan of Giannis' playstyle, and for the Finals I was rooting for the Suns. But he was trully amazing and the Bucks did absolutly deserved to win. I think that since the Shaq there never was a player that seems to me so unstoppable like he was. Also I like how humble but also confident on himself he is (which is something not easy to become).
Upgrading from Eric Bledsoe to Jrue Holiday was huge. Even though Holiday wasn't at his best offensively during the playoffs, he still played outstanding defense and never lost his confidence. Bledsoe just disappeared.
true..he actively wanted to lose some games it felt like...jrue just missed shots and maybe got a little shy late...but he was always trying his best...on both ends...but the bucks did get lucky vs the nets
People ignore the context of the Raptors series way too much and I like how this vid explains it. The raptors were also the absolute WORST possible matchup for Giannis on defense. They had Kawhi guarding him with Siakam, Serge Ibaka, and former DPOY Marc Gasol focusing all their attention on helping in the paint. If the rest of the Bucks didn't forget how to shoot, those playoffs would have looked very different.
@@bsmoove2800 even in 2021 the only players who can consistently hit open 3s are Forbes and Middleton, but khris shoots a ton of contested 3s and Forbes is unplayable against good teams in the playoffs. I really hope Nwora gets minutes this season and develops into a good playoff rotation guy, maybe even a starter.
It's not about just shooting 3s its getting the players that can take the pressure off Giannis Khris and Jrue like to keep Jrue from over working himself u go get a Bazemore a Avery Bradley or a Justin Holiday which is all cheap players same with Khris u got get a McDermott a Rudy Gay or a Otto Porter then Giannis u keep a Portis or get a Sabonis at any means or a Julius Randle to pair him up with but the problem is the Brook Lopez Pat Connaughton Bryn Forbes Jeff Teague and Pj Tucker that we over rate because we lost in the moment
@@mrbucky226 Nwora defense is shaky his scoring is on point if he can get his defense up to half point I would start him at small forward with Khris at the shooting guard
@@bsmoove2800 I agree it isn't just about shooting threes but they already have people who can take pressure off of Giannis in theory. They need a better system set up by their coach to maximize their talents, but they can get there eventually. What they need most are people who can finish plays generated from Giannis or Jrue. They can get plenty of open 3s, they just can't make them at the moment. Their offense would be amazing if they could convert the scoring opportunities Giannis gives his teammates by drawing everyone into the paint.
The utter disrespect on my guy Giannis is unacceptable. Dude just willed the team that drafted him and with no other megastars to a title. Dude is real special
I can’t give Giannis enough respect. He dropped 50 when it was most needed and carried the bucks through the playoffs and finals after a horrific looking leg injury. But the thing that I respect him most for is the fact that he didn’t go and make a super team somewhere with a big market team. He had the loyalty to stay with the Bucks and it paid off. The championship means a lot more when you do it like that rather than going to LA to get the easy finals win. I’m no Bucks fan but I’ve definitely become a Giannis fan.
I have no idea how anyone could hate on Giannis. Dude is a hard worker, humble, and supremely dedicated to his craft. I remember watching my Hawks play them, and I remember the standing ovation when he was able to walk off the court in game 4. He is the kind of guy that garners universal respect from real basketball fans, and the media disrespect is outrageous.
Everyone tried to destroy Giannis. It wasn’t just the media. It was also the fans. They clowned Giannis about his lack of a shot, his free throw shooting, his air balls, and all the times he was posterized on dunks. Giannis took all that in stride and still keep shooting and defending. He would rather air ball then look scared like Ben Simmons. He would rather get posterized than run away from defense like 98% of the league does.
This is my favorite comment on Giannis. For real, you’ll see every player and fan clown on him when he gets postered, of course if you’re a beast then who ever slays the beast looks like a hero. But Giannis is such a good sport that he kept going and didn’t let himself get a big ego, he loves to compete. Honestly he’s still kind of under appreciated because the haters out there, but man he’s a special type of player. Great comment Jeffrey
Just realized how small this channel was. Your production value is through the roof. The writing is on point. To the point and effective. You have the ability to tell stories with your commentary, going past just stating your opinions and NBA facts and diving into the details of events to find a story. That’s what good journalists do. And your editing is clean and polished with a good selection in video. I’m serious, I would be more worried about you burning out because I know these videos take a lot of time. Good job man.
Thanks a ton! The videos do take a while to make but it's worth it in the end, especially with comments like these. I hope to get better as time goes on.

It was so weird to see, this man is exactly who the face of the NBA should be. He's got everything, the skill, the athleticism, the killer mindset, the work ethic, the leadership, the loyalty, the story. It was so weird the media wasn't singing praises to his name. When they won the championship, it was so well deserved.
Yeah, and that is exactly what the NBA doesn't want. They want flashy swagger, social media morons sneering, strutting and posing. That description would fit perfectly Tim Duncan too, greatest PF to play the game and usually ignored by the media because the calm, intelligent and educated player doesn't generate enough media coverage than the controversy caused by the loud mouths idiots.
Great analysis. Thank you for bringing some much-needed context to the Giannis story. NBA fans are a fickle bunch and swallow everything from the media without contextualizing things right. As a diehard Giannis guy I appreciate this and will be back for more.
Those fans were praying that Giannis would hit free agency and sign with them. They were also making up all kinds of reasons that Milwaukee would have to trade him last off season for nothing.
@@recoil53 That's because people do not take time to study people. Giannis is the kind of guy that values loyalty over all the other considerations. I personally knew he was going nowhere even though I started to worry a bit when the NBA media started talking about him going to Miami, Dallas or Golden State. They are doing the same thing now with Stephen Curry, saying he will leave the Bay area to team up with LeBron in LA. I can say with confidence that Steph is going nowhere. He is not that kind of guy.
@@petermadash4488 A few years ago Giannis was talking about growing up as a player and a person with Middleton - how they both even have kids now. I was pretty sure then that he'd stay in Milwaukee if he could.
@@recoil53 Giannis disproves the "superteam" narrative so instead of just saying they're wrong they will just keep reaching to prove the narrative it's really childish but it's nothing new this has been happening since the early 2000s with moronic NBA pundits on ESPN calling the spurs and pistons winning titles "boring"
I also believe that the media hates Giannis for not being US home grown player, they never had the chance to groomed him into the next face of the NBA in the media's eyes like almost every other player who goes through HS and college. Compared to others Giannis's stardom quite literally came outta nowhere and the media hates that because it's not someone they constantly talk about.
No one hates Giannis 😂 he’s not hated as much as LeBron, Harden, or Russ. All of the comments criticizing Giannis were completely fine. No one is criticizing him now that he has a ring. He a 2x mvp and a dpoy. If you don’t lead your team to a ring then the season is a failure
Yeah Americans can be very patriotic. That's why their major sports are different to other countries. Americans always got it do things their own way and attempt to be flashier and more flamboyant than the rest. So a foreign player coming over and dominating their own game... I can see why the media didn't really like it. It's part of the reason why Hakeem Olajuwon isn't praised a lot, even though he was easily the second greatest player of the Jordan era. Guys like Ewing & Robinson receive more praise from the media, and definitely Shaq. Luckily a lot of Americans don't think like those media vermin and have accepted Giannis and taken a liking to his personality.
I’m so glad Giannis and his team got the chip. I hate when my favorite players get close to winning and don’t take it all the way. But that last game when I saw him hitting his free throws, I looked at my dad and told him “He’s going for 50 tonight”
Against the Nets, most of the fools in ESPN were still favoring them over the Bucks even when Kyrie was out and Harden wasn't 100% healthy all because they believed in the greatness of KD. But when the Bucks finally defeated the Nets, they used the injury excuse card. It just shows how they never really liked the Bucks because they wanted the big market teams to win. By the time the ECF rolled, you can see in their faces that they were uninterested at times compared to when the Nets were blowing them out in the semis.
Reggie Miller straight up stopped talking while the Bucks were dominating against Hawks in G5 and G6. Such a fucking idiot, he got depressed his little star Trae wasn't playing or was playing like trash
Kyrie is always injured and Harden showed up out of shape & kept pulling his hamstring. And Donte, who would have been a vital backcourt defender in the Nets, Falcons, and Suns series - was out. I like Durant's game and I respect that he shook hands after game 7, unlike Harden, as well as told Giannis to "get yourself one". But a one man team isn't going to win the last few games most of the time.
I mean the Nets probably would have won if everyone was healthy but I mean injuries are a part of the game and every single championship team ever has gotten lucky. The Raptors were lucky Klay and Steph were hurt. The mavs were lucky that LeBron and D Wade were still working out kinks. Injuries shouldn’t take away from a championship run because injuries are a part of the game and if you wanna win you gotta stay healthier than your opponent
Don't forget the "toe on the line" stans out there as if the game ended right there. He had both feet on the line, not just a single toe. And it's KD's fault for not being more court aware. The game was tied. So why didn't the best player in the world show up when his team needed him most in OT at home in a game 7? He went 0-6. Meanwhile giannis tied the game over KD late, before Middleton got them the lead for good. One player took less shots but made the important one. Another basically took every shot and misse dthem all, including getting stuffed at the rim. "KD made the most clutch basket in history" - he lost the game. If that's considered the "most clutch shot in nba history" - what was Khris Middleton's shot 4 years ago against the celtics at the end of regulation from practically half court to tie the game and force it to OT? It was a much more impressive shot and also tied the game and was more difficult. But the bucks lost in OT. So nobody cares. So why should we care what KD did, if it resulted in a L? The narrative after game 7 should have been: Giannis outduels Durant. Instead it's injury excuse and toe. Stop making excuses for KD. He has not done ANYTHING without a super team. Even his finals run in OKC had Westbrook and Harden, with Ibaka in his prime, on that team and they lost. KD has more playoff meltdowns and failures than Giannis.
Love the positive video on Giannis. Can’t ignore greatness when the man drops 50 points in a finals clinching game. One of the greats, enjoy it while he’s here. He’s 1 in a million
Giannis was a champion before he even made the playoffs. Man could retire tomorrow and his mom, brothers, girlfriend, and son wouldn’t have to work another minute of their lives.
Giannis is the person everyone should want to be. He came from nothing and wanted to do everything. He works countlessly every day, has a wife and a kid, a master at his job, and is always happy. It is hard to root against this man unless your team is facing him. I hope he wins a second ring this year.

The list could actually go on just off of this playoff run alone. Also, think about this, a couple years ago when his team was off, Giannis had difficulty doing it on his own (because the defense keyed on him), this year, in game 6, his team was off and he carried them to a championship. The false narrative is over.

I'm glad he won a championship and hope he upset the super teams next year. In my opinion now that Giannas has a ring the only thing that can stop him from winning another one is all these superstars joining up to create the justice league.
CONTEXTTTT !! Great video- I always thought he never had a super team or reliable second star , I love middleton but Giannis always needed a consistent second scoring option to help him succeed and open up the lane but he always has 5 pair of eyes on him cos his team mates couldn’t make shots
Giannis was asked during an interview if has expectations of being top NBA player and he answered he cares for his family and being occupied by them and not being anxius of such thoughts! He could not ever be ,he added, because he is not American!!!!Let it to Harden or whoever else!!!
Giannis is exactly what I want to become in my own career and life, being humble yet competitive, caring what's important to myself, instead of living to other people's expectations.
i hate the argument that he would of lost to the big 3 nets...its the lebron vs kd argument from 2018.....give him kyrie and harden and put kd on the bucks..lets see who wins?...smdh....its like saying duncan in 2002 losing to kobe and shaq means either of them are better then him..they are not he just had no robin....
They're still giving more attention to the Kobe tweet about him than Giannis himself. After one week after winning the championship no NBA, espn, or sports show has talked about Giannis or the Bucks. It's all media not wanting a small market team to be popular
Amazing video. Giannis is the reason i started wathcing NBA and now thats a part of my life. I ve been watching him since 2017 without missing a game and now i watched him being a champion. As Jordan said ''i learn from my failures'' and Giannis has been doing that since all that critisism from the last playoffs. Well, look at him now.
I like the fact you weren't too lazy to pronounce his surname (Antetokounmpo). Some folks don't even bother and stick to Giannis or straight out butcher it.....yet they have no problem pronouncing "Schwarzenegger". Props 👍
Funny how Harden said all Giannis could do was dunk and that was because he was big, but all Harden does is play offense. Giannis is a great rim protector, above average perimeter defender(but phenomenal perimeter defender for a guy his size) he’s quick, strong, has a damn good vertical, can dominate in the post, dribble the ball, pass well, and plays hard and smart. Harden had a game with 12 turnovers(tied for 3rd most) 3 11turnover games, and 5 10 turnover games. That’s 9 games with double digit turnovers. He also has 3,255 career turnovers in his 11 year career. Although that’s nothing compared to LeBron, who has 4,592, which is the most in league history, and his career isn’t even over yet
Don't act like it was only the media. I remember NBA fans clowning him on Twitter and IG about not being able to shoot and how the Bucks can't win if Giannis doesn't have a dependable jumper.
That was after he opted out of free agency. Remember every fan base was cooking up half-@ssed ideas on how they could get Giannis in free agency. EVERY fanbase wanted him. Maybe his game doesn't plug into every team/every system. But he is a player that you change your roster and playbook for.
They were right and still right. Giannis purposely hurt kyrie knee. Faced injured hawks and suns team. Same for suns faced injured lakers team nuggets team and clippers team all star player injured. So this ring has an asterick on it.

THANK YOU SIR!! You have literally made a video about the thing I have argued countless times about with many NBA fans. Giannis is apparently held to a different standard than most American NBA players. Context is key and you proved it with basic stats that apparently the press doesn't have.
Awesome vid man! subbed. One small critique, Finals G1 when Giannis returned you said he "struggled", he said himself in an interview after that he was "still feeling out what he could do with his knee" and took only 11 shots (6/11). With that all said, he still finished with 20/17/4/2stl/1blk in 35mins so I would hardly call that struggling, more that he was limiting himself/playing time.
oh definitely, him “struggling” is considered a great game to many. just saying for his incredible standards he didn’t play as well that game, cause yknow, he literally dropped 50 a few games later.
Bayless is clueless. Most NBA analyst are clueless. What has Harding accomplished in the NBA - nothing. Racking up point and stats, but never carrying a team to the finals. Even with help. This guy did it with a core group of teammates who stayed together. No bringing in other so called stars, no jumping ship to join other stars to win a championship. Respect!!!
While yes Giannis is a great player and the fact that he won the championship with Middleton who was basically alongside him on draft night, Harden is being heavily discredited here. He could've made a run with Rockets Dwight, who at the time looked like a beast because of his post-game and while Harden wasn't the best in this series, are you telling me Chandler Parsons and Omer Asik were better options? Had dame not drilled the shot which wasn't harden's fault, the Rockets would've made a run. Then we have Chris Paul and Harden who of course almost beat the Warriors WITH KEVIN DURANT and had CP3 not been injured they most likely would have made a run. Even so, saying he's accomplished nothing is just blissfully ignorant. Harden is one of the best isolation players of all time. He's a 6MOTY, a multiple time All Star, an All NBA 1st Teamer, and most importantly, A FUCKING MVP. Giannis is one of the best generational talents and for him to win a chip this early is amazing. Not only that but his 50 Pt performance will be talked about for years. But saying that Harden has done NOTHING but get stats is just idiotic.
Thank you for making these videos, I stopped watching the NBA from about 2011 to 2020, so I missed A LOT, but besides you, nobody makes videos to catch people like me up to the current day in terms of what has happened since then.
@@c_amelx2697 MJ is my guy, unless Giannis gets a clutch jumpshot like Mike, he won't be as good as MJ. Here is my point. Young athletic Jordan did not win title. Wizards MJ was at full knowledge but body not 100% so forget that version. MJ got better as he aged. Thank you Dillan for a true, deep and logical analysis. We’ve listening to the mainstream crap and so called analysts. They are a joke. They can only talk about Lebron, he is their cashcow. No creativity whatsoever. Giannis is really the most ignored superstar in the NBA. With Embid, he is the most dominant player in the NBA and still they won’t talk about him. I think it’s because he’s from Europe, as in born, lived and evolved in Europe before he came to the USA.
The whole league fears Giannis and doing everything in their power to keep him from getting a proper side kick because no matter what type of team u build Giannis would win championship dam there every year
I like Middleton, but I dream of what the Bucks would look like with Bradley Beal. Remember that Beal used to be a good defender too. I think being on a winning team would bring that back.
Hey! Really love your analysis on Giannis. Really puts all thr mainstream analyst hot takes to shame. If I can offer a bit if criticism on your presentation, you tend to let the last word in your sentences draw out and it gets a bit distracting. If you're able to shorten it up and make it a bit more crisp, I think it will really improve your narratives. Again, great video.
He's in his mid twenties and has two MVPs in a ring sooner than Jordan and LeBron... But he doesn't have the one thing the NBA media demands.... Playing in a large markets that can capitalize off of ratings
@@emericas9 I was referring to the only large markets the media dems..LA n NY. Look at the amount of national tv games they get..also how much they are talked about.

Draymond will always be "Triple Single" to me after Chuck roasted him last year. Always.
We praise other players who just "want it more than anyone else"
Giannis wanted this title more than anyone else on the other team and we pass it off as "hustle" play instead of "killer will".

I agree with that all except for reason 1. Star players team up with other star players because of the incompetence of the front office.

Not that it's as important as the qualities you brought out but he is handsome too☺
Because they should've stopped pushing bron years back, what they did to giannis and many others. They did the opposite for bron

@@recoil53 100% agreed. As I said about Curry too, he also just re-signed with the Warriors. Some players are just different to how LeBron and KD are.
A reason but definitely not THE reason
No one hates Giannis 😂 he’s not hated as much as LeBron, Harden, or Russ. All of the comments criticizing Giannis were completely fine. No one is criticizing him now that he has a ring. He a 2x mvp and a dpoy. If you don’t lead your team to a ring then the season is a failure
@@bugstepper3528 He has won now and the funny part is harden talks smack on him but harden has as many championships as you and I have 💯😂
I believe they also hate him because he's humble. He doesn't put himself out there or give the media any drama to talk about
Yeah Americans can be very patriotic.

@@jonhohensee3258he injured Kyrie Irving bet he don't go to the hood in Milwaukee Street niggas will unlive the Goofy
That's some high quality content. Well done dude, looking forward to see more!
Bro they was down by 50 to the nets. We all know they got lucky

If Giannis is a choker, what does that make James Harden ? Giannis earned his championship, but Harden is still a stroker, choker, and a joker ! 🤡
You forgot to mention his groin hair beard, rec league headband, and his fat, old, out of shape self that led to his pulled hamstring. 😐

Giannis is the person everyone should want to be. He came from nothing and wanted to do everything. He works countlessly every day, has a wife and a kid, a master at his job, and is always happy. It is hard to root against this man unless your team is facing him. I hope he wins a second ring this year.

Also, think about this, a couple years ago when his team was off, Giannis had difficulty doing it on his own (because the defense keyed on him), this year, in game 6, his team was off and he carried them to a championship. The false narrative is over.

Exam the source. Shannon Sharpe gags on Lebron
Yup I remember that. Even skip had to remind him that the series wasn't over. But this dude acted like Giannis scoring 34 on 61% in a game 5 loss was worse than scoring 8 points vs JJ Barea in a pivotal game 4. And then we won the series and they just started talking about LeBron. Pathetic.

Woulda coulda shoulda we dont count these we count actual championships harden 0
they (nba analysts) probably get paid to say stupid takes because they get more views which means more money
@@dharrmannfann8547 Harden did cry a lot, so he did do something.
Great video!
Thanks for the visit! Feel free to check out my other vids.
Thank you for making these videos, I stopped watching the NBA from about 2011 to 2020, so I missed A LOT, but besides you, nobody makes videos to catch people like me up to the current day in terms of what has happened since then.
Nice video

Giannis will be unstoppable the more he learns the game more, like how MJ got better as he aged.
I dont think that's a good comparison
@@c_amelx2697 MJ is my guy, unless Giannis gets a clutch jumpshot like Mike, he won't be as good as MJ. Here is my point. Young athletic Jordan did not win title. MJ first 3 peat he pretty much was exhausted because he used all his energy. Second 3 peat he was smart, played team game and dominated when need to. Wizards MJ was at full knowledge but body not 100% so forget that version. MJ got better as he aged. He got smarter, knew how to win. 96-98 MJ was not dunking like young MJ but he was a better player. Hope Giannis can do the same.
@@1WorldAroundYou I think I understand what your saying but I was just saying that the comparison didn't make much sense to me because their styles are quite different although mj was a freak he was great at shooting and didn't always need his athleticism to get a bucket. Frm what I've seen giannis is sort of the opposite relying more on his athleticism and doesn't really need to rely on his ball skills cuz he is already so dominate pyshiclly. And ultimately I'm not sure if Giannis will age like mj he aged like a fine wine. Giannis is a freak tho and maybe he will still dominate these dude's well into his 30's I'm not sure though
@@c_amelx2697 Understood, I get you. I like Giannis, he got a taste of winning and knows what it takes. I hope that fuels him like MJ. As far as Jordan, He was coached by Dean Smith, Doug Collins, Phil Jackson... he was well trained, plus Jordan is in a different league mentality wise, you could also say Kobe but I believe he got that from watching MJ. Going back to Giannis, he is young. If he can't get a jump shot maybe he can become a better passer, hybrid Magic/Shaq. I am becoming a fan of Giannis because he stayed and did not follow the trend of super teams.
@@1WorldAroundYou You're comparing a PF to a SG. Giannis with a KG type jumper is enough. His mid-range needs to be more consistent. But he doesn't need to score everything from the Mid-range like Jordan did post 96
I hope your channel blows up with more views and subscribers

Game 6 of the 2021 Finals was the first game I actually fully watched through and got me more invested in Basketball. Now while Giannis is my favorite player, I am a Magic Fan at heart
Agree brad beal would put them over the top an elite shooter would raise this teams level
Has there been a 7 footer as agile as Giannis? He's damn good.

Silly rabbit the bulls was a small market team before Jordan lol smh So is the cavs
@@emericas9 I was referring to the only large markets the media dems..LA n NY.
Look at the amount of national tv games they get..also how much they are talked about.
I was also referring to current land scape. Also the MJ n LBJ point you made is actually the issue. The media could n should be featuring GA alot more. Building that market to a higher marketable level is very doable and with further strengthen the NBA brand overall.
Instead we get "everyone is going to LA" n had to watch the knicks alot more than we should have over the last five years.
