What a marvelous make up artist you are Caroline. While I liked the colours in the Charlotte Tilbury palette, I couldn’t see them looking as beautiful as you made them look on your eyes. The finished look you created was gorgeous.

What I love about watching your videos is that you are clearly a master at your art, but you epitomise the joy of makeup too! So glam! 🤩I would never have thought of warm mauvey tones as Christmassy, but I think they'd look great with my brown eyes. I'm always in awe of how fabulous a tool a cotton bud is! The balance of warmth with that fab (surprising!) blusher and the Velvet Cinnabar lipstick is a revelation. At the beginning I was thinking "hmmmmmm..... not sure this is very Christmassy" but how wrong was I? Gorgeous look as always, thank you, Caroline. I should know by now to wait until the end. 😆

Love lilac on my eyes, I often see the perfect lilac (like an old cream shadow by Karen Millen I had for ask 20 odd years until I chucked it away thinking I could get another :( ) but always part of a palette - I can't justify the price for one colour.

I ❤ Velvet Cinnabar. I paired it with the Cinnabar eyeshadow palette and mix the lipstick with Crystal Nebula to create a blush ( all by Lisa Eldridge)

I love Lisa's velvet lipstick texture and finish. It just looks so beautiful, feels SO good and it really does stay put for a good long time. I found that a little gloss, or even better some Laniege lip mask before the velvet lipstick works... you made the right choice! I loved the warm undertones of the brown eyeshadow, the blush and the lipstick. Perfection. 😊

I started buying Lisa Eldridge with her very first collection, 5 yrs ago. Only this year did I finally run out of Ribbon! I did learn however that there is a finite amount of time with her mattes before they WILL snap off while you are applying. I wouldn’t say they dry out exactly, but with the 5 yr old (and even some 1 yr old) mattes, no matter how carefully I use the bullet, snap.

Ive been feeling a bit down the last week as Ive been struck again by bloody covid but this video really cheered me up and made me look forward to doing a sparkly christmas look soon! This is one of my favourite looks you’ve done Caroline your skin looks beautiful with this foundation and the eyes are stunning, I actually liked the brightness in the inner corner before you rubbed it off. You pulled it off but I’m not a fan of the dark lip especially when the eyes should be the focus here. A softer more nude lip would be my preference. I think you need a wider beautifully shaped mouth to look good with darker lipstick, otherwise it can look too severe and make the mouth seem smaller. Only my opinion. Lovely video.🥰💜

Thank you so much for all your info. Can you recommend the most moisturising foundation pls? My 51 yr old skin is much dryer than it used to be, plus use of tret means that often foundations just don’t absorb / sit as nicely as they used to 😢 thank you.

Do you have Adapeline at the pharmacy? It works quite well on spots. It's a Retin A derivitive for acne but can be used in anti-aging.

I don't know why but any kind of powders just don't work on my wrinkles hooded eyed face. Been buying creme everything and I'm doing better, but I'm still more comfortable with just a tinted moisturizer. Haven't found a #1 best tinted moisturizer for me yet.
You have very similar colouring to me but I thought I was more neutral than anything 🤷♀️ Is the Dior foundation the W shades the same as neutral?
I often watch your videos with my youngest son - he’s still at the wanting to spend time with mum age 🥰 - and I’m amazed at just how much he has picked up by comments he’s made when we’re out shopping and he said something about certain lip shades not suiting my colouring 😂 He’s 12 going on 40 ❤️

I dont understand how you mixed purple colour shimmer in yoir eyes with that lipstick , dont like the colour combo at all . A pink or even a burgundy could have worked... but that reddish brown , not for me !
And it is not CT anymore , is not "she has done this or that ". She sold her company years ago to a spanish family . You can say the Group Puig has created or invented or whatever "a brilliant blush , a brilliant palette ". Absolutely expensive and overrated . Colours like that are in lots of eyeshadow palettes a hell of a lot cheaper
