Obviously what you decided to put in your videos doesn’t represent the whole day or your entire life but I just wanna say that I enjoyed the atmosphere in these clips. My Christmas memories mainly consist of my parents arguing over literally everything and my mother who desperately tried to hide the fact that they were both mentally struggling because of my dads illness and couldn’t express their feelings over the situation to each other. Both of my parents have since passed away, I’m now 25 without any family left and Christmas just does not happen for me anymore. I try to ignore it, don’t decorate and try not to cry for 3 days straight. I used to be so jealous of people who could do what you were doing in this video but now I’m just grateful that I can be happy for the kids who will never feel what I’ve felt during holidays. Videos like these are like therapy to me, so genuinely - thank you for sharing this with us. ❤ You guys have become comfort people on here. ❤
I just wanted to say I saw your message and I’m sorry Christmas is a difficult time for you. You’re not alone in that and I hope you manage to do what brings you happiness over the festive period and this becomes a tradition for you. I know many people who go away for Christmas and don’t do all the typical traditions so put yourself first and do what makes you happy ❤
There’s such a huge emphasis on the “joy of Christmas” that it can make those of us who don’t have family feel like everyone is having a great time except. Rarely do we see the reality of it, which can add to the loneliness. I’m so sorry for you that Christmas has never been a happy time for you, but I hope you can find a way to make it your own. Sarah Millican, the comedian, does an online thing for people who are alone. Might be worth looking up. I might do it myself! I usually cook for all and un dry, but my mother is an emotionally cruel woman so I cut her out of my life last year, my brother is going to his girlfriends parents and he probably won’t drop by because he lives further away since moving in with her, and my ex usually comes here to spend it with our son but he’s going to his parents for dinner this year as they’re having everyone over there. I asked if our son was welcome (of course he is) so that he can be around family and not just be with me. It’s difficult knowing I have family, but will be alone. I just try to focus on my sons 15th birthday on Boxing Day and I’ll put my energy into that. I have spent Christmas completely alone when I was your age (I’m 46 now) and I just watched movies all day and made myself a roast dinner. I chose o just e it as a wee holiday and not think of what everyone else might be doing. I’ll be thinking of you on the day 🫶🏻💖 xx
Editor did an incredible job adding all the mini captions they really made me chuckle, I think Charlie’s excuse me to the floating elf was my favourite!
Oh wow!! This makes me miss my kids being little!!! My youngest is now 14, MOUTHY and over 6 foot tall! I'm very lucky though because my eldest spoiled me and gave me a granddaughter who's 5!! I'm so excited to decorate with her!!! I cannot wait!! Happy Christmas everyone!!!
12:35 - Baby's face.. tbh the whole 3s shot - Kyle casually holding her like that, not knowing how funny & cute it looked. EPIC. Loved it.. JUST everything
I laughed at the remote not understanding your voice command with the kids making a racket in the background. But I'm honestly impressed. The kids seem really settled in and mellow. Charlie is cute as a button, talking so much.
What a fantastic video!! I truly love your family! Olivia's relationship with your camera is 2nd to none! Its like she's fascinated with seeing her self! Sophie and Charlie are quite nonechelant aboute it all. Fabulous family 😘💜😘
I’m Australian and I find it so interesting when you explain the differences between American and the UK I thought Australia’s was a lot more like UK but we are a mix of both
Love how the kids' accents are changing. I miss UK Christmas so much and Garden Centres. Somehow it's more Christmasy over there despite the lack of snow. Canadian Christmases are always white, but nowhere near the same atmosphere.
Love Garsons soooo much!!! Gotta get a Christmas visit scheduled in 😁 so random how we all love a garden center trip, took my toddler to a Squires just the other day! Sophie is sounding so English now!
I had to go back to make sure you said Gavin and Stacey 😍 I didn't know there'd be a Christmas special this year, but I hope we can watch it in the States!
Christmas is the best!! With early morning wake ups present opening and Christmas lunch! Boxing Day is cold meat and pickles with bubble and squeak. Has Kyle been introduced to bubble and squeak. We always put the leftover stuffing in ours. Yummy! xx
Everyone loves pigs in blankets ❤ You should do the Santa Express at the Bluebell Railway in the Ashdown Forest. You can visit the pooh sticks bridge afterwards & play pooh sticks. So many wonderful memories of the Bluebell Railway. Boxing Day is footie day, Chelsea are at home. Some snow today! 🎉🎉🎉
I love your content, Caroline. Your family is beautiful and so entertaining. Love the American-British banter between you and Kyle. Looking forward to the next one 🎄☃🌎 Sorry if too intrusive but I am curious to know what Kyle's job is since leaving the marines / moving to the UK? No worries if not. Once he starts his UK job, could you do a Q&A with him about the differences between US and UK workplaces? As former cabin crew, interested to know how you feel when you fly now as a passenger. Are you a good passenger or do you know too much about the 'behind the scenes'? So, so cute that Charlie has named his favourite avocado toy 'Kyle' and when he called out his name and pointed to the large avocado in the shop 🥑
If you’ve still got that pumpkin (or for next year if Charlie’s still golf mad) then plastic or wooden golf tees hammer really well into pumpkins for a fun activity! Gave us literally hours of fun over the span of a few days 😊
@@Mummysflippinhousewe have snow here in east Yorkshire this morning gone now but my part of uk we are in dip so we don't get snow until next day when comes from hills
I’m originally from Kent but live in Alberta Canada 🇨🇦 boy do I miss garden centres boots and the holy grail m&s I spent $42 to get a small M&s Xmas pudding last year 😱
In French, we also say "egzema" and it's written "eczéma". It's a linguistic evolution that happens when a voiceless consonant - here the k sound - becomes a voiced one which is a vibrated one (you can feel it if you put your hand on your throat) - here the g sound. And I now know the US and the UK pronunciations are different thanks to you 😊.
Not sure how close longleat is but I follow the manor houses instagram and as an American I am so jealous of how story book the Christmas lights and decor is and I want to know if it’s similar to anything that America has.

The top of the tree against the ceiling is my favourite part 😂
I love how Olivia is always smiling and in her own world 😍🥰🥰
She is the happiest of babies we’ve had it’s so funny
🌲Awww happy happy vibes you're giving and sending ✨. Lovely to see all the effort and love you put into your family 🎅🤶
Sophie's English accent is really starting to develop, so sweet!
When Sophie said “I fink” British gal ❤
I’m so guilty of speaking like that 🤦🏼♀️
It was adorable! I’m the same, and I’m always like “ain’t it” but catch myself I mean isn’t it 🤦🏼♀️
How amazing is that little Christmas tree dress. I mean, come on 🤣it’s adorable.
That gorgeous baby is so sweet and happy all the time !!
Editor did an incredible job adding all the mini captions they really made me chuckle, I think Charlie’s excuse me to the floating elf was my favourite!
Honestly, so much JOY! This gives all the hugs and warm cosy feels to everyone who needs it. Thank you so much!
Boxing Day is spent in your PJs, watching telly, eating chocolate and watching the kids play with their toys ❤️

The whole of England gasps when Kyle says ‘I don’t know that song’ 😮😮😂😂😂
What a fun video, your family is lovely. From Canada and we always say Merry Christmas, many British traditions carry on in Canada!
I miss Christmas in the UK soooo much!!! We’re in the States now, but we still celebrate Boxing Day and it’s also my oldest daughter’s birthday!!!
That garden centre is unreal 😍
Posh bit of Surrey 😁 I travel from a non posh bit to go there hah, worth it!
It's like that in my part of uk as well have travel to posh part of east Yorkshire to go to a nicer garden centre

Never been to the UK but this makes me want to spend a Christmas in the UK! 🇬🇧 love hearing all the traditions
Merry Christmas!!🎄
Aww Sophie's little accent changing 🥹🩷
I love seeing all the tree decorations! Every ornament has a story and it’s lovely!
"The Holiday" is a favorite movie of mine all year round, not just for the "holiday"! Nice that you and your Mum watch it together!😊❤
As a Canadian living in the U.S., I appreciate “What’s your favOUrite colOUr?” and the Boxing Day chat ❤️
The way "hob" and "fridge" just rolled off Kyle's tongue... He's acclimatizing
And he said “what not” brilliant
A 30 minute Christmas video! Thank you for the gift queen. ❤
What a fantastic video!! I truly love your family! Olivia's relationship with your camera is 2nd to none! Its like she's fascinated with seeing her self! Sophie and Charlie are quite nonechelant aboute it all. Fabulous family 😘💜😘
I love all the stories for all your tree ornaments. Beautiful family memories ❤
I bet you wake up every morning seeing how settled the kids are and fink we did it ❤
What a gorgeous happy family ❤️ x
The very best type of Christmas is when small humans get so excited they lose their minds 😂🎄

Good to see your whole family. Put a smile on my face. Kid's are growing up fast. Happy Holidays☃️

Kyle needs to binge Gavin and Stacey before Christmas!
The best Christmas specials, I don’t think there is a comparison!
I love love love Olivia’s Christmas Tree dress. 🎄 You have so many festive things to do enjoy 🎅🚂❄️
I’m in love with Olivia’s little dress! 😍
I want a dress like Sophie's!! It's so pretty and fun! I'm also now about 47 % mor enthusiastic about Xmas, thanks to your video. :)

Boxing day! It's the food! - cold meats, cold roasties, cheeses, pickles, christmas dinner sandwiches, and < drum roll > the festive pork pie!
That Boden dress is such a winner
Awwwww ❤ love you all. Merry Christmas 🎄
Sophie's accent!!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Huge fan of you guys! Hopefully get to meet you someday!❤❤ lots of love from 🇨🇦
I love Kyle’s obsession with ‘The Holiday’ 😂
Have you visited Savill Garden? Apparently they have a Christmas tree shop and kids play area, plus all the Windsor Great Park attractions.
As an American living in the UK, I still can’t put up Christmas stuff until after Thanksgiving.
I agree November is too early (I'm a Brit.). 😀
@jennyk488 my tree goes up on December 1 and not before way to early
Everytime Charlie picked up a decoration and put it on the floor 😂😂😂 “it’s not for kicking”
We had snow in London this morning so maybe a white Christmas isn’t totally out of the realm of possibilities
I have no faith. The snow didn’t even settle😂 but I love your optimism ❤️
Should put a bet on it to see we get snow this year or not

I hope Kyle got his snow today? We got it up here near Liverpool 🌨️❄️. Lovely video 👏👏😍❣️
C&K banging on about how we barely get any snow in the UK 🤝🏻Me watching this after having loads of snow in Surrey this morning 🤣

Are you planning on staying at your Mom's house or are you looking for another place? Personally I would stay as long as you can. It's a great house.
Brilliant video, I watched it twice 🤣❤️❤️
Happy Christmas!
Getting snowy in scotland now 😊
I love Olivia’s Christmas tree dress. Is it a UK find ? I love a pantomime.
I'm crying laughing at charlie's "excuse me!"
We dont have a fire 😂😂....get a heated blanket!
Caroline you need to go to Longacres xx
The “mistletoe and wine.” I forgot about that song.
Sophie’s picked up the British accent “ I Fink”
Are you doing a Thanksgiving celebration for Kyle and the kids? So hard to be away from home for that one.
Can I please ask where your sideboard is from?
Just what I've been after!!
Love the fleece caroline!! wheres it from?

Gates garden centre in Leicestershire is the best
Are you guys doing Thanksgiving next week?
Pigs in a blanket in my family is the little smoked sausages and cresent roll dough ❤ definitely not hotdogs lol
To me that’s a hot dog those ‘smoked sausages’ they aren’t like proper what you would call ‘Italian sausage’ like we use in the uk
Our little Dexter aka Charlie 😂😂😂
You forgot bubble & squeak on Boxing Day!
