I just subscribed to your channel 🎉 I love your presentation style & videography ❤ I'm curious about something ~ what is the privacy feature for the Bathtubs being located beside Glass walls ? Especially at night ! 🙈🔞😂
I guessed 480k. I also thought it must have been hell for the neighbours who endured all that demolition ans rebuilding. The front of the house is beautiful, the rear, with its sterile features, belongs elsewhere, with a similarly modern front. .
Absolutely fabulous house, the attention to details and the aesthetic are second to none. A truly beautiful property. Very good presenting skills of the young man.
Wow - Magnificent home - a complete bargain at £1.4 million - I'm not that familiar with Hither Green as I live in North London - Modest terrace homes on my street sell for a million pounds - That featured Heather Gren home looks like a mansion - congrats to the owners, architects & builders for doing a fabulous job... It will be snapped up straight away by a lucky buyer.
Agree, and it's a lot of house for the money! The owners did this work to create their forever home so I don't think they have plans on selling! They do however let it out over the weekends and school holidays.
Stunning - love the top floor, very imaginative design. I'm sure a lot time went into the exterior finish at the front, very nicely done. Great presenter!
Lovely home. Personally I think it’s a shame that the owners introduced the black or dark grey metal windows, I think they should be white and wood to be more sympathetic to the beautiful original Victorian home. It may be current now but it will date quickly. The bedrooms are very small.
That's given that house a new lease of life. Definitely finished to a very high standard. It's so difficult for us diy home owners to get every room completed finished and up to scratch. Thanks for sharing.
I would say renovation costs would have totalled about £280K (125K for the extension - 80K for the top floor and 70K for updating the rest of the house and front of the house)
I had literally stopped at around 7.30 and have just seen the last minute of the video. I was off by quite an amount with my estimate of 280K. The end result of the house is great
That would be a great! The basement hadn’t been renovated and was currently being used mainly for storage, but the owners did say that might be a phase 3!
A WC in the kitchen/dinner 😢 Absolutely a deal breaker. I don’t why some owners do this all in the name of having a WC downstairs. It disgusting and unhygienic. Would you eat in this setup at a restaurant? Definitely not so why at home ? Other than the house n finishes looks incredible ☺️
There is a door to the WC.... so what's the problem? I know many small cafes, bars even my local Greggs which has a WC just of the main eating/drinking area. Remember this is a private residence. 1st world problems, plenty of people don't have running water/electricity or even basic sanitation. Better to have something and not need it than to not have it and want it
I agree entirely. It would cost future owners so much to remove those ghastly big glass doors and restore the back of the house to how it should be. Also the nasty open plan interior would be expensive to change
@@martint9610 If you restore the back of the house to what it was you would reduce your kitchen by 80%. Who the hell is gonna want that???? Changing an open plan is easy.... JUST PUT UP A WALL! Your in the minority with your dislike of open plan. This has been the way forward for decades. But each to their own, when you buy it you can tear it all down and live like a Victorian with many tiny rooms lol
Did you guess the renovation costs?
I'm going 420k because extensions cost about £10k per square metre.

I’d say between 300 and 400k

@@aryafaaz9345 thank you for subscribing! I think there may have been a hidden blind in the bathroom too!

Glad you liked the video🙌 Such a high quality design and finish!
This home is magnificent, one of the best I've seen! Gorgeous renovation and brilliantly showcased by the presenter
We agree - such a stunning renovation! Our presenter George did a great job too🙌

@@homeinspireuk Awesome - I congratulate you on this feature video - excellent work
Stunning, stunning, stunning.
Very creative renovation, if this is to someone’s taste they’ll absolutely adore it! Fantastic presentation skills by this presenter also 👌🏼
Lovely house.Despite of the space restrictions, the ID was done tastefully
Who said "no character"? That house is full of ideas. A great change from just white space and beige everywhere. Love it.
Completely agree!😃

Agreed! Great design by Moxy&Co, a really well thought out design. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Beautiful house from the outside and also the interior design is magnificent
It really is!

It’s a long journey for sure, the owners have been there for 10 years! Glad you enjoyed the tour - plenty more to come!
A lovely family home. A quality job.
I live nearby.. wanna go n see this gorgeous property 😎
I would highly recommend! If you ever want to stay there, there's a link in the description to the listing!
GORGEOUS HOUSE! Although i wouldn't put clothes in a bathroom 🎉
Why not?
I would say renovation costs would have totalled about £280K (125K for the extension - 80K for the top floor and 70K for updating the rest of the house and front of the house)
Did you watch until the end to see if you were right?
I had literally stopped at around 7.30 and have just seen the last minute of the video. I was off by quite an amount with my estimate of 280K. The end result of the house is great
Not a bad guess, there are some really high quality finishes in the home which increase the cost! Thanks for watching🙌
Beautiful ❤️
Love the exterior loved interior and the work that’s done ❤
What would be the total square footage of the top addition?
Such a gorgeous house! Love that it’s in South London, would love to see more tours around these sides.
Definitely plenty more to come!
1.4M because it's in Hither Green - the same house in Richmond would cost 5M - in Chelsea that would be even a lot more. Very nice house
Yeah central London would of course be a lot more money!
Beautiful home. How is the main bathroom protected from being able to see in through the window at night time?
There’s a hidden blind that comes down!
I was about £200k out lol! It's beautifully done but not my style at all. Somebody will love it though!
I love it but just concerned about the lack of blinds in the bathrooms 😂😮
I believe there is a hidden blind!
How they got planning for those dormers?
That’s why you hire a good Architect!
Fabulous renovation and finished to a real high quality. Great use of space. What flooring finish have they put in the bathrooms?
I’ll find out! Or comment on our reel on Instagram and the owners will reply😊
It’s microcement from Topcret 👍🏼
I like the dormers to the master bedroom. Any idea who made them?
Yes they were constructed by ‘Your Dream House’, this is their Instagram: instagram.com/your_dream_house_2023?igsh=M2FjbzBvOGcwYzFm
WoW imagine having a bath for the neighbours viewing 😂😂
No charactor. Exterior is gorgeous. Interior is disappointing.
The exterior has been done really nicely! There were some nice bits of character throughout but it’s always a personal taste!
If a house is being renovated for resell, it should NOT be done in the renovator's personal taste.
I absolutely love the interior, it’s fabulous.
@@essielewis1070it’s to be rented out on Airbnb, so a bit of character is helpfull
It’s mainly the owner’s ’forever’ home so they’re styled it to their taste! It’s also let out over weekends & school holidays too.
The front exterior is very nice. The rooms seem so small .
They felt quite spacious when we were in them!
Quite cheap for London prices I thought.
Think this house was in the Omaze prize draw a couple of years ago.
Can’t have been! The owners have lived there for 10 years
I think your thinking of this house

❤
Curious about the basement - man cave?
That would be a great! The basement hadn’t been renovated and was currently being used mainly for storage, but the owners did say that might be a phase 3!
The rear windows and loft dormer just dont match the character of this property
I think the contrast is the point of the design really!
One point four million to live in Hither Green, I don't think so.
Why would you do this to such a lovely house ?
A WC in the kitchen/dinner 😢 Absolutely a deal breaker. I don’t why some owners do this all in the name of having a WC downstairs. It disgusting and unhygienic. Would you eat in this setup at a restaurant? Definitely not so why at home ? Other than the house n finishes looks incredible ☺️
Practicality reasons really, especially if you've got guests over or kids (which the owners have both!). Glad you love the rest of the house though!
There is a door to the WC.... so what's the problem? I know many small cafes, bars even my local Greggs which has a WC just of the main eating/drinking area. Remember this is a private residence.

Very expensive
It's a shame that people take these beautiful Victorian houses and turn them into ugly, glass and metal monstrosities. This house is hideous.
These types of extensions will always be to a personal taste!
It's beautiful house
Whoever buy the house could changed or designed the interior style later, whatever they liked
I agree entirely. It would cost future owners so much to remove those ghastly big glass doors and restore the back of the house to how it should be. Also the nasty open plan interior would be expensive to change

Nice
But f Khan's London !
The rest room in the cooking/eating/chilling area is nasty work 🙄
1.4 mill great price!
My only critique is that I don't understand why developers make those back extensions ceilings so low. I mean come on.
It really didn’t feel that low when I was in there!
Probably down to planning regulations
Love the exterior loved interior and the work that’s done ❤
What would be the total square footage of the top addition?
Not sure I’m afraid, I’ll need to ask the Architect! Or comment on our Instagram post and they’ll reply to your comment😊
