Yeah, the truth about Shenandoah NP is that it doesn't really stand out from the rest of the Blue Ridge Mountains in terms of scenic beauty. It is much of a muchness, really. There are some nice waterfalls off the AT, and the best mountain in the park (Old Rag Mt.) is nowhere near the Trail. You are more likely (but not guaranteed) to see a bear in the Park, because they are protected there. But it's like they said, "Hey, we probably ought to have a national park someplace in these here eastern mountains," so they picked some random land and here we are.

perspective is weird, isn't it? it can change unexpectedly, but a lot of times you have to change it yourself. I'm sure there will be some sweet views to take in soon. anyway, I hope you keep killing on that trail 🤙stay safe, Molly

I've day hiked to all of the shelters/ huts in Shenandoah NP and definitely Calf Mountain is my least favorite, don't believe I'd camp there, too overgrown and no good tent sites. Really enjoying your videos, you're making great time.
