@@jaysap. Hi. No I did not follow a guide. I was just inspired of 2 other guys on youtube that also had convert their Mario Karts to brushless. But they did not tell/show exactly how to do it so I had to figure it out myself and see what had to be done to make it work. What you have to do or much depends on the equipment you want to use. I also did more upgrades then they did like ball bearing in the rear axle and air intakes for cooling the motor and esc e.t.c. Just remember that all the original electrics are gone and you put in your own esc, motor, servo and receiver. I had to in this new version of mario kart cut away some plastic material to make room for the esc and cables and I use hobbywing ezrun 60A. It was not realy easy because it was my first but it can be done. I have also since then convert both a Bowser Kart and Donkey Kong Kart and those to is a older model series with better room for cables and esc. You learn with practice. What I can do for you in try helping you is try to send pictures of the build to your email if you want to give that to me? Also here is links to the videos that I have seen. th-cam.com/video/CEbAeteR2s8/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=TomleyRC th-cam.com/video/v-isSJ8yKQU/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=nicomakernolimit Just so you know, the french guy (nicemakernolimit) has the older Mario Kart series vehicle. Hope you got the info/help you need :).
