  • Everything it takes to get you pressing into handstands! From wrists and shoulders to hips and hamstrings. Lots of strengthening drills and ways to start you on your pressing journey. Will also be helpful for learning toe taps, floating and overall strength. Can’t wait to hear from you!
    Grab a mat, blocks, a wall, socks and maybe a notebook to create a list of drills or do this with me often! Let’s do this!
    I recommend having a solid handstand BUT again, all of these drills and exercises will only strengthen you for them and many other asanas, inversions and arm balances.

      Cecilia Fisk you’re welcome! Just keep at it. Elevate your feet and slowly bring that prop down. Work the drills: mat float working on the lift off. And keep slowly lowering from handstand to build strength.

      @@pesarepars7435 missed this comment. Not long. It was just what gave me a feel for how to use my core to lift my hips. And what a press actually felt like.

    Hi Natasha my name is Angelic. I follow you on Instagram under Daughter of God. I am going to school on line for a yoga teacher you and some other people have inspired me so much. I want to make my yoga journey authentic. I have alot of pain every where I have hypothyroidism and fibromyalgia so I have a lot of back pain that comes with it cause of the stresses I carry. Will this be possible without ever bending the back?🥺 Have an operated back so can't bend it

    • @NatashaFitnessYogaPilates
      @NatashaFitnessYogaPilates  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Bending as in a forward fold? You have to be able to have the hands to the ground to be able to press into a handstand. You can learn handstand however, but not pressing into it. You can jump into the handstand from a crouched position to avoid the folding.

    Handstand is the most difficult . Crow is doable , again crane is difficult , can't lift legs easily and trouble with core engagement . Anyway you are doing it easily 👍
