It's the Canadian Pottery Throwdown Finale! Let me tell you I was FREAKING out when I found out the challenge prompt, because it's the exact same prompt that was the very first British Pottery Throwdown episode I made last year! I was so excited to recreate this teaset challenge because I wanted to do it BETTER. And let me tell you, I was very pleased with the results :)

I WANT A BLUEBERRY FROG POT! He's so cute, sitting atop that giant blueberry! That whole set is great...I think the pink accents really work. I would 1000000% buy a lidded frog pot. I already scored a little jar from Rose Schmits (the studio tech from Great Pottery Throwdown UK), and I could add a blueberry frog pot to my (one piece) collection, LOL.

Have you seen those surprise tankards with a little frog on the inside wall that spits beer at you?! Google 19th century Staffordshire frog tankard mug. Those would be fun frogs to make. 🐸
@@SylviaMallory1 I was already reminded by Mia's frog of my first mug, which had a little green frog at the bottom, and with your comment, now I know what probably inspired it. My mother surprised my brother, sister and me (we were maybe 6, 5, and 4 years old at the time) with them for our Sunday coffees. Finding the little frog when I got to the bottom is one of my favorite childhood memories.

it reminded me so much of that person who makes frogs but mixed with different things like fruits. I'm pretty sure she has a blueberry frogger (a frog but looks like a blueberry)

I like the whistle background music a lot. Nice pick. The animatic of the project that pops up is also cute. I love the teapot & I adore the petal motif in all the pieces. You *should* be proud of what you’ve done

I legit did a little happy (hoppy?) dance when the little froggo made it out ok :) Feels like you read my mind with this entire set right down to the glaze colours- first things I want to make when I can afford a wheel. I think the pink is just the perfect nod to whimsy fairy garden. Great work.....and yes to more little animals. On. Everything. ❤

I really like the tiny bit of pink. I see it as that little bit of sparkle that doesn't take over. And the frog pot is just eeee! Beautiful tea set.

What about a Dragonfly as an animal on top, as it keeps with the theme!!
Only suggestion I had for the sugar pot, was a Teaspoon gap, so you can keep the spoon in & the lid closed.
Could you do a Honey pot with a Bee on top too? Throw some yellow accents in, with this colour scheme, so the pink doesn't feel so out of place.
But, ultimately, this is divine! Not as dainty as I thought you would do, which to me is Perfection, because I, personally like substance!

I have been working on it for over ten years! It really takes a LOT of practice. But of course I mess up all the time too. I was really lucky with this batch.

Hello! At my pottery studio they have a set of shelves which they have propped a square box fan on the top aiming down, and then the shelf is enclosed with a vinyl shower curtain for a drying shelf! It works great! I'm letting you know because I had never seen anything like that before and I thought it was pretty cool. Love your videos!

Did you ever use the cups? Despite agreeing that everything looks amazing, it really does, I fear that the cups are a pain to drink from because of the bendy rim.
