Same. While I don't remember seeing some of the others, I know I've watched a few. As far as "jump scares" go, that scene where that demon appeared over the guy's shoulder while their sitting at their dining room table?...That remains the most "jumpy" of jump scares that I've seen...it was utterly startling and it scared me terribly!! So yeah! I've got to give it to that film, simply for that scene alone.
First was the best hands down! Tip toe through the tulips was scary before the movie. Tiny Tim was very "strange" for his time and tip toe was the last song he sang before a heart attack on stage.
@@Dibbles2005 I honestly can’t even tell what you mean by your response, but I agree. Star Wars is pure dreg, the first 3 were kinda okay because they kept George Lucas from ruining them. Uh, besides that I can’t decode your strange use of the English language.
They're all pretty good and will have to see how the next one plays out this week hopefully it has a good pay off. Also would love to see you rate the saw or hellraiser movies
The first one was what got me into horror movies. I grew up with all the classics but they freaked me out too much. I was like 13 when this came out and it was the first time I saw the bad guy and the Tiny Tim was playing that I connected.
I agree they're mostly forgettable but the scene in the first one where Elise is describing the demon thing sitting on ceiling and then you just get to see the sketch of it freaked me tf out first time I saw it
Bro NO I really like the Insidious films. The first two are the only ones watchable for me, 3 and 4 were either boring/forgettable or just not as good as the others. I’m also hopeful for the new one coming out it doesn’t look like complete ass
Interesting breakdown. I lump them all together as okay, but me tink numero uno es numero uno. It was creepy for me as a kid and still gets the ol brussle sprout hairs standing up.
Insidious was at it's best when it wasn't immediately blowing it's load. I still love the scenes of the Lipstick Demon slowly pointing down and appearing like crackhead Darth Maul in the first movie.
Honestly the first and second one are really close to being number one. It was the only horror franchise that I could get my family interested in watching and enjoying! I don't go to see a lot of horror movies in the theater with my family but my family was willing to go with me to see the second one, and that really meant something to me, and still does now! It was also funny cuz I found out my cousins who lived 3 hours away exited the movie at there sitting the exact same time we did. The fact that we saw the same movie at the same time was absolutely amazing! 🤣🤣🤣
Honestly these just missed me, I'm not hating on em. Just give me a good slasher or serial killer or some fun bloodthirsty criptid. Anyway you keep up the amazing work you wonderful fan boy. You're an inspiration to us all getting to do what you seem to really love for a living. Gonna keep watching your awesome content. You're a bit of a horror creator yourself after all Mr. Meat.
Tip toe though the tulips is also creepy because Tiny Tim collapsed onstage after suffering a heart attack while performing it at a ukulele festival in western Massachusetts in September.Dec 2, 1996
The first one. Definitely the first movie. Because, it's the only movie I saw in theaters. The sequel and the prequels I've watched, I only rented them when they came to video.
One of the reasons Tiptoe through the tulips is considered a creepy song is, the writer of the song, Tiny Tim, actually had a heart attack and died while performing it.
The first Insidious, when you first see the red demon standing in the corner of the boy's room and it's just a black outline, I got the image in my head that it was a cyber goth wearing tights and those huge furry leg warmers, and I've never been able to unsee it lmao...
The first one is by far the best, the pacing is amazing. The rest are all just typical horror films, I have no idea how the 4th made it to the top of papas list, then again he said the acting was good in 4 so idk if he’s a reputable source.
Meatcanyon is on somwthin if he thinks the lost key is the best. That shit was low tier in my opinion. I'd put it at 4 or 3. But that's the beauty of opinions on films. I really loved 1 and 2 more.
i mostly agree with this but i feel like insidious 1 is 1st for me and insidious 4 is 2 didnt know anyone else knew insidious probably because i live under a rock
Holy shit I completely forgot about 3. Damn guess it really is forgettable. 1 is still my top because of how fresh and spooky it was to me. And toward the end of that first movie when it felt like the ghost world was so explained and elaine started force blasting spirits the series lost some spook for me.
I have never heard anything good about 4. Crazy to hear you rate it as the best. 1 was always considerend the best and 2 and 3 are so forgetable why bither rewatching them so find anything note worthy
Actually i really agreewith this one. I havent seen a horror movie that spookes me because lately they been making cheap ass jumpscares but nothing like the First one , that one is creepy as hell.
Not the devil guy literally looking like Darth Maul trying to pick up extra parts to pay the bills
Hey, man. That robot lower half of Maul's body wasn't cheap. You think they just thow away perfectly good pairs of robo-legs?
@@slamer4000 that's true, I mean how else is he going to find galactic space trash to repair his robotic lower half?
100% my first thought when I saw the 'demon'. Like how is this cheap Darth maul supposed to be terrifying? I was so disappointed when I saw it.
I laughed so hard when we finally got to see him in the movie.
Same
The first one still has a special place in my heart.
Same. While I don't remember seeing some of the others, I know I've watched a few. I always thought the red devil guy looked like the dude from star wars
Was going to say my favourite was the Phantom Menace where, through the power of faith, they slice evil in half. Sidious was IN that right? Right?
Badumtiss
1,2,3,4 that’s my ranking, the first is the scary one. that’s pretty much that, it gave me night terrors for years, and still haunts me to this day.
Number 1 the red door
Are you sure you weren’t more scared of 1 bc it was released 14 years ago and you were literally a child back then
First was the best hands down! Tip toe through the tulips was scary before the movie. Tiny Tim was very "strange" for his time and tip toe was the last song he sang before a heart attack on stage.
My dad saw tiny Tim perform at a circus once💀
Darth Maul listening to Tiny Tim is an all time moment
The two Insidious films are masterpieces.
Yeah, how number 2 got less than 1st place and how that spin off got above number 2 is beyond me.
My ranking:
2
Spinoff
1
4
Really? Darth Maul getting into face piercings and using Tiny Tim as a creepy song? That’s a masterpiece?
@@ravenger5672yes + Star Wars is a mid franchise + cope you bogus
@@Dibbles2005 I honestly can’t even tell what you mean by your response, but I agree. Star Wars is pure dreg, the first 3 were kinda okay because they kept George Lucas from ruining them.

the plot, writing, character development, cinemo, and exceptional jumpscared is what makes the film a masterpiece 😩
Wish this was full length 😢
Literally same.
He has a video of it on his channel guy
@greenscreenmovieguy5582 unfortunately not the insidious movies.
Yay it released 😃
They're all pretty good and will have to see how the next one plays out this week hopefully it has a good pay off. Also would love to see you rate the saw or hellraiser movies
I would agree 4 is the best
The first Insidious movie is a horror classic !
The first one was what got me into horror movies. I grew up with all the classics but they freaked me out too much. I was like 13 when this came out and it was the first time I saw the bad guy and the Tiny Tim was playing that I connected.
Shout out to your editor! Got me wheezing 😂
woulda been a good full video
I agree they're mostly forgettable but the scene in the first one where Elise is describing the demon thing sitting on ceiling and then you just get to see the sketch of it freaked me tf out first time I saw it
I can't believe Papa completely brushed over the old lady squaring up and beating the dress lady ghost with a chair.
That tip toe song has been scary long before that movie sir
Especially since Tiny Tim from a heart attack on stage, while playing this very song
Wow! I got tired of the Insidious films, so I never got around to watching the 4th one. Now I need to get around to watching it
Papa meats wrong with this one, 4 is stinky caca doo doo
Bro NO I really like the Insidious films. The first two are the only ones watchable for me, 3 and 4 were either boring/forgettable or just not as good as the others. I’m also hopeful for the new one coming out it doesn’t look like complete ass

Insidious 5 was way better than I expected
Honestly the first and second one are really close to being number one. It was the only horror franchise that I could get my family interested in watching and enjoying! 4 was a major one for lore.
Tip toe though the tulips is also creepy because Tiny Tim collapsed onstage after suffering a heart attack while performing it at a ukulele festival in western Massachusetts in September.Dec 2, 1996
The first one will always be the best for me. I love that movie
i like that you took the itaian poster of the last key, mamma mia amico fantastico!
My favorite Sidious movie is The Empire Strikes Back
Number 1 will always be my favorite
The first one. Definitely the first movie. Because, it's the only movie I saw in theaters. The sequel and the prequels I've watched, I only rented them when they came to video.
first one was good imo, i did watch it when i was younger so thats probably why i see it that way. maybe gotta rewatch.. "I WANT IT, I WANT IT NOW!!"
The fnaf scream got me 😂😂😂
All of them are good. I love horror movies but insidious always gets me and for that they always hold a special place to me
I think of Having a Wonderful Time in SpongeBob when I hear anything Tiny Tim
That violin string note is actually a waterphone
One of the reasons Tiptoe through the tulips is considered a creepy song is, the writer of the song, Tiny Tim, actually had a heart attack and died while performing it.
Can you please review the full movie of cat and the hat please, also I’m really drunk love your work :)))
The first Insidious, when you first see the red demon standing in the corner of the boy's room and it's just a black outline, I got the image in my head that it was a cyber goth wearing tights and those huge furry leg warmers, and I've never been able to unsee it lmao...
The devil guy looks more like those anime demons I ain’t gonna lie
4 is the best especially where the esp lady leaves the door open for the lil boy to be possessed in the future. Gotta secure future clients
lmao you really threw in the Lost the Round soundtrack from TF2 hahaha nice one
Loves these videos buddy
Hunter, papa, please put the black meat canyon hoodie back on the merch site. 🙏🏻
I remember when the first one came out the red face demon had every SHOOK 😂😂😂
Through the tulips, you either think of Insidious or the Spongebob Squarepants pilot episode
Chapter 3 was the only one to actually jump scare me and it was because i wasn't expecting the car hit scene.
The first one is by far the best, the pacing is amazing. The rest are all just typical horror films, I have no idea how the 4th made it to the top of papas list, then again he said the acting was good in 4 so idk if he’s a reputable source.
Do a video on the Phantasm series!
I was today years old when I discovered there were more than two Insidious movies
Meatcanyon is on somwthin if he thinks the lost key is the best. That shit was low tier in my opinion. I'd put it at 4 or 3. But that's the beauty of opinions on films. I really loved 1 and 2 more.
I'll have to look into them I think I only watched the first one but don't really remember it.
was not expecting the last key to be #1… maybe i gotta rewatch doe
the finger keys were dope doe
The red demon dude looks like Chad from Mudvayne fused with Darth Maul 😂 looks like he would be singing Stand in the closet and scream Kenobi!!!!! 😂
My favorite insidious movie: none… watched the last keys one and thought it was too boring, but watched through all it
First one wins for me. 😊
I have disagree with the ranking of part 2. The scene where the father throws that kettle at the mom's head made me laugh out loud in the theater.
Can you make a list of best horror mivie of last year?
My partner and I love your videos and really agree and apriciate your opinions!
I knew he was trolling when he didn't even say the name right
Tiny Tim was always creepy especially if you look up what he looked like
Now lets hear your take on the Conjuring universe films
Do conjuring next
4 as the best is actually insane
The cheesiest and least scary
Hard disagree on the ranking for 4, honestly I think it gradually got worse after the first one, as movie sequels tend to go.
i mostly agree with this
but i feel like insidious 1 is 1st for me
and insidious 4 is 2
didnt know anyone else knew insidious probably because i live under a rock
Honestly, when I think of toe through the tulips I think of SpongeBob
1,2,5,3,4 that is my insidious ranking
Holy shit I completely forgot about 3. Damn guess it really is forgettable.
1 is still my top because of how fresh and spooky it was to me. And toward the end of that first movie when it felt like the ghost world was so explained and elaine started force blasting spirits the series lost some spook for me.
Papa! Midsommar vs Hereditary, what do you say?
1,2,3,5,4 is my ranking
I hope father meat does a review on the saw movies one day
I had no idea there were 4 movies
The 5th one just came out
The wheezing Man from the third one is actually scary. Also, the Tiptoe song was always eerie, what are you talking about? Just my opinion.
Definitely a surprise cause I think 4 is a real stinker compared to everything before it 😂
The only thing I'll disagree with is that Tiptoe Through the Tulips was creepy LONG before Insidious came out
Where’s the full video Papa
the devil guy looks like Darth maul to me
I have to disagree, the 3rd one is my favorite. Shadowy figure waving at you really got me
i just ate a bean burrito, it thinks this ranking is alright
Did Justin edit this
Comment to help my boi meat move up the algorithm
Realizing these were only scary bc of the loud noise and cheap jump scares
I trust you meat man
Is there a full video
I have never heard anything good about 4. Crazy to hear you rate it as the best. 1 was always considerend the best and 2 and 3 are so forgetable why bither rewatching them so find anything note worthy
What about The Red Door?
Literally thought and still think they're trash. Its just not scary tbh. Just cheeky jump scares
Actually i really agreewith this one. I havent seen a horror movie that spookes me because lately they been making cheap ass jumpscares but nothing like the First one , that one is creepy as hell.
I thought they said tiny tim died singing that song on tour, either way creepy
Theres 4?
I honestly think The Last Key was the weakest of the 4 films. Insidious 1 will be always be the best.
The fourth one is bar far my favorite.
I only saw the first one man
Tiny Tim is happy AF! Wtf happened?
There is a fifth film coming out I believe
Why is the 4th poster in italian
of course you like the lost key the most😂
Havent seen them.
Look up the lore on the song
and i thought i was cynical
