Can I use this with other software like serato or any other
good video mate. Do you get the rca cable with the ddj?
Martin Bučinel unfortunately not. You need to provide your own RCA cable.
DJ Connor Scott how do you connect the controller to your pc and to speakers? I have the speakers with the subwoofer that has a rca input. do i have to plug the rca from the controller into the subwoofer or into the pc itself via adapter?
Martin Bučinel you connect te controller to the PC via a USB cable that is supplied. There are 2 methods for connecting speakers.
Method 1: use RCA to RCA cable to connect the speakers to the DDJ-RB using its inbuilt sound card. I would advise this at it is better sounding. This method is used for the larger events.
Method 2: if I'm correct, you have your speakers and sub already connected to your PC. RekordBox DJ allows you to split your sound card. From the settings in RekordBox, head over to the audio tab. On there you will find 'master output' drop down menu. In the menu, click (this is with my mac) either headphones (the speakers and sub) or built in speakers (if it is a laptop). You can still assign your headphone to come out the headphone port of the DDJ-RB.
This method I would only use in the house as it has a delay on the master output from your headphones of about 5ms (depending on your buffer speed) but if you have a high CPU e.g. i7, or i3, you can have a small buffet size so it won't make such a different.

What was your problem? I have some issues with the cue 1 and 2 (headphones)
i didnt have that issue, the program (rekordbox) didnt work on windows 7 so i had to upgrade to windows 10
