    You deserve way more recognition than what you've got !, i can see the amount of editing done, from the opening shots and sound design, i'm subscribing and sharing this. Love your time lapes and pictures! Love your work :)

    Hey Brendan, I quite enjoyed this video today for a variety of reasons. The variety of terrain, loved the rocks on the ground as you were moving and the distance mountain screened with the few trees on the hike. Moving from daylight to night and back the next day to daylight kept my interest. The educational component was very helpful, I will keep in mind the photo options of shooting a landscape while alone. Also the information about how much it can cost a photographer is good not only for other amateur photographers but for clients to realize the value you are getting for your money. Keep up the great work! Thanks for sharing.

    Brendan, your tip about using the intervalometer for the self shots is very, very useful. Never thought of that. Thanks for sharing mate !!

    Nice video. I haven't visited your channel in quite some time. Looks like you've moved the focus to photography videos and that it is working well! All the best to you!

      Thanks Saranya! I'm actually from Canada. But, my parent's spend winter there now that they're retired, so I spend a lot of time in the area. Actually more than in Canada. Love it down that way.

    At the beginning of the video, you sound like me. As I have become more of a traveler, I usually cannot stay in one place for more than a day or two (when I am not working) to where I always head off somewhere. Anyway, those views at Devil's Bridge are amazing!

    I'm surprised more people don't fall off the bridge. Looks narrow.

    • @BrendanvanSon
      @BrendanvanSon  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's much wider than it looks. I think you could drive a car across it

      Check out a newer video called "literally everything I own". The setup changed a lot. Mostly, Sony a6300, rode mic, gopro5, and zhiyun gimbal :D.

I have loads lf images shot over the years, just for social media, but never have I tried to make money off of my photos. Watching ur videos makes me kind of wanna make it my career but i have no way where or how to start.

    Did you get a stabiliser? Is it electronic one? // is it a gopro on a stabiliser? Edit: Nvm I can the Gimbal on the thumbnail. Nice purchase.

      It looks really good!! I noticed because I wanted to get one myself. I opted for glidecam because of the price. I changed my mind after this video. Picture you get is worth the trade off with the sound.

    Also was wondering - did you give the people incentive to model for you?

    • @BrendanvanSon
      @BrendanvanSon  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, I usually just ask them if they'll do me a favour and then offer to send them the photos of them afterwards if they want.

    • @KaitlynMcLachlan
      @KaitlynMcLachlan 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Awesome. And no problems with them signing model releases? #21questions :)
