OH MY GOSH...that was amazingly beautiful! To think I lived in Arizona just shy of 14 years and DIDN’T see any of that! Wow...just breathtaking! I smile watching you two...thanks for giving a great tour!
I was a click away from booking the lower antelope canyon tour and I remembered I had not watched your AZ videos yet. So glad I did! Now we’re booked for Canyon X tour in May 2022. Thanks guys!
Just did both HSB n Canyon X last week. Both are amazing and weather was really good, can’t expect better in December. HSB is a must see, it is breathtaking
We went to Canyon X back in June of 2019 after watching this video. It was awesome! We loved this hidden gem. Thank you for the recommendation! This video got me started on your channel, and I've been enjoying all of your recent videos too.
Guys, Do you notice in your video 4.42 minute the person that was walking in your back fell like stupid. that was super funny LOL awsome video thanks for the info.
All the more funny as they're talking about about the need for being careful on the edge of horseshoe bend - people fall and die. Thankfully that person wasn't on the edge 🤣
I just went to Canyon X and drove up to book. I was lucky because many booked before and after my time. I was the only one on my tour! Marcus was a great guide.
Ron and I will be visiting Monument Valley and Antelope Canyon next month in mid May 2022, along with other National that you vlogged about. He booked the Antelope Upper Canyon tour that comes with the guide taking our photos, and it was very expensive at $398 for both of us!! I sure hope that steep price tag is worth it, and I'll let you know here on TH-cam in June.
@@brandonkays7548 YES!! Our guide took incredible photos with my iPhone and these photos and the memories were certainly worth this this steep price! As the saying goes: You Only Live Once!
Hey guys! We recently road tripped around California and crossed over to Arizona for these beautiful spots. Thanks a lot for the guide. Canyon X was a great tour with low crowds! ❤️
Great video. I know you mentioned what was the best time of the day to visit the cannon, but did you mention what month it was when you were there? Thank you.
Good afternoon We are planning a trip to Arizona next year. And one of the days we are planning to hike the Rainbow Bridge and Canyon X. Is this realistic in terms of time and distance? How far do you need to walk in Canyon X? And how long does it take? Thanks a lot...
Hi Leah! Yes you do. We booked our tour for Canyon X here: www.antelopecanyon-x.com For the upper or lower antelope canyon here is a list of some options for tours: navajonationparks.org/guided-tour-operators/antelope-canyon-tour-operators/ We hear they fill fast during the busy season, so try to book early! Hope that helps! 😃
If you guys go back to this area, I'd highly recommend hiking Cathedral Wash. It's a bit of a drive as it's out by Lees ferry, but it's 'technically' in the Grand Canyon NP. Wear a swim suit under your hiking clothes as you can swim in the Colorado river at the bottom. No need for a guide. I wouldn't say it's an alternative to Antelope/Canyon X as it has a different feel, but if you want to do something where you have freedom without a guide/group, it's an excellent thing to do in addition to one of the others. Friends of ours tipped us off. They skinny dipped as they didn't know there was river access. They told us to wear swimmers and we're mighty glad as there were 2 boats full over river rafters moored up on the other side when we got to the bottom 🤣🤦♀️Saw no one on the way down and just 1 family on the way back out.
You always have the best tips! This sounds like a blast! We prefer free activities, so this one will be on the list for next time. And noted: bring a swimsuit lol! 🤣
We are going to Page next week for a couple of days (I'd say 1.5 days as we will arive at noon from Las Vegas). Do we need to book a ticket in advance for Antelope X?
Unfortunately not :( it’s basically just a stand in the middle of a parking lot. However, you could probably hide your belongings in your car and be okay. There seemed to always be people around and you likely wouldn’t have any problems!

Hi! We could not bring a backpack at all (we left it at our Airbnb), but we had no issues with our camera! We normally use a stabilizer and microphone for our vlogging camera and just took that off for the tour. We also brought our DSLR just fine too and took TONS of photos. The only rule (unless you do a photo tour) is no tripods, if I remember correctly. I hope that helps!

Horseshoe Bend is amazing, isn't it? Have been there a couple of times and it won't be the last time. Coming at sunset is a great idea cause you'll have the sun behind you and it will shine onto the front portion of the rock. In the afternoon when the sun is in the west you look straight into the sun, which is terrible for films and photo's. Antelope is similar amazing only so difficult to make pictures: they are either too dark or too light. Second time we did the photo tour around midday and saw the beam coming in from the top which is spectacular.

We just did the one Canyon X tour, which had two canyons you got to see in it. Did we call one south canyon? (I can’t remember) If so, then yes the same tour!
We personally loved sunrise because it was less crowded than what our friends experienced at sunset. The sun rises in front of Horseshoe Bend, so it turns a very beautiful pink color! If you go for sunrise, get there earlier than the actual sunrise to enjoy that pre-dawn light. Once the sun actually rises, it starts to get a bit shadowy in the bend. Have an awesome trip! 🙌🏼
Hi! There are no ladders in Canyon X, but they do have a steeper sand/dirt section you have to walk down to get to the canyons. If I remember correctly there may be stairs/or some material on that part so people do not have to just walk on dirt and have something to grip their shoes to. It wasn’t crazy steep, but definitely a decent incline. But we did not experience any of the ladders or super steep stairs we have seen at the other canyons. I hope that helps a tiny bit!
Horseshoe bend does require a small walk (somewhat up and downhill and sandy) unfortunately 😭 There are some pretty viewpoints though of Lake Powell in Page that don’t require any walking! Wahweap is a good one, as is the Dam Overlook!

There is a $50 hiking tour and a $140 photography tour, why that difference?
Jealous! As a serious hobbyist photographer, I've been wanting to go out west to HSB and the slot canyons. Canyon X looks promising. Really enjoy the videos...keep it up!
Thanks so much Jason! We hope you get the chance to make it out there--it's incredible! There is soooo much to do between Page and across the Utah border.
I wonder how much gold is down there 🧐 lol
We were just there! Here’s a link to our video of experiencing that beauty at sunset! th-cam.com/video/04eMpPlWHbc/w-d-xo.html😊
Do you need to book a tour for Canyon X ?
Hi! Yes you do, but I believe they are still closed due to COVID.

Thanks for the love! 🙌🏼💗

Air BNB is not a sustainable form of tourism. Please consider hotels and resorts in the future if you care about the communities that you are visiting. #Sustainable Tourism !!
