Their goals aren't the same. Its easier to destroy and Thanos does that well. Ironically, the mutant Apocalypse's mission is to build and develop. Because of this, it's difficult to ascertain a probable victor based on accomplishments.

It would have been nice to see Thanos take on Apocalypse during the Thanos Wins series because I was always wondering why the Earth Villians are hardly ever shown putting up a fight against out of world threats...like Apolcalypse , Magneto, Doctor Doom , etc etc gonna let other people take over the world w/o saying /doing anything?

My money is on Thanos every time with or without the Infinity Gauntlet.
Without the Gauntlet, it is a relatively even fight, with Apocalypse being a bit faster but Thanos being the better combatant. With the Gauntlet, it is no contest.
You did bring out an interesting point. Apocalypse made his deal with the Celestials about Earth, so naturally the majority of his stories would be centered there as opposed to Thanos who mostly shows up in the off world stories.

Thanos is an Eternal, and the Eternals always had Celestials technology as well. Thanos also seek knowledge for different realms and reality.
I’m going for Apocalypse because every time he decides to take over earth he actually wins on a high scale threat, which every villain does but they never win unless they warp Apocalypse did on different occasions

I say Thanos even without the infinity stones. Galactus can one shot a celestial so he could still one shot apocalypse with celestial technology suit. Thanos sent Galactus flying (though probably not at full power) so he could ,i think hurt apocalypse
Yeah, Galactus may have won that fight with Thanos, but at the end, the big G looked like a jigsaw puzzle with a couple of pieces gone, and I'm a big fan of Galactus.
@@kimbelsimpson7535 Galactus and Magneto are my two favorite marvel characters. Kinda disappointed at the way Galactus has been written as a jobber. The Dr. strange series when Galactus basically destroyed everyone is how he should be written. A force of nature that can really absorb energy from anything
@Lj-md9ng Exactly because that's how I feel this is why I say if you can give Galactus a good fight or even manage to hurt him slightly, that's saying a whole lot about you in my book.

I always thought Thanos was overrated and just continuously buffed over the years because Marvel had a big bad spot to fill. In his debut he was a clown flying around in a helicopter, but that was just how cheezy stories were back then. Apocalypse has always been my favorite villain, well written and his abilities are fairly well defined (instead of “what does the story need for him to win”). Great video, love your content.

I always thought it was crazy that Thanos and apocalypse never met..
Considering the fact that there is a connection for both of them to the celestials.

First off, love the channel! Keep making these, please!
Second, Krakoan Era Apocalypse is canon and he’s been in Arakko, so I don’t think it’s fair to keep saying that he’s been limited due to being stuck on Earth.
Also, feats are based on writing, as you eluded to. Which is not the character’s fault. If you compare characters based on powers, weaknesses, abilities, intelligence and flaws, there aren’t a lot of characters that would beat Apocalypse.
All that said, I’m not saying you were wrong, I’m just bringing more to the table to discuss.
Lastly, can we get a Blue Marvel vs. Icon??

Secondly when I say stuck on earth, apocalypse main mission is to advance the mutant race on earth therefore his focus never goes further than the mutants from the planet which i feel that is what limits him story wise. I think if they gave him another motive outside of mutant kinds survival of the fittest thing we could see some great stories!
And we have to give blue marvel a break 😭 we’ve put him against gladiator and sentry already but he will make an appearance soon i can feel it!

He’s weakened now though, isn’t he? I never bought him being on an X-team.
Just want to say I do love Apocalypse, but as you can probably tell from my icon, there was never any doubt that Thanos wins. For one thing, it's been shown that he has become more powerful than he was with the infinity gantlet. And, I believe it was that little clip you showed of him blasting "Galactus." I pretty sure that was the Galactus/Thanos hybrid clone that he created and had to put down. Supposedly, it had greater firepower than the original Galactus (but not today's Galactus).
So, yeah, his feats are more impressive. Besides, how he obtained the infinity stones in the first place, by defeating the galactic Elders with just his own brains and brawn.
Apocalypse is great and always has been, but Thanos was meant to be a character that gets everything he wants just to find out that it's not worth having. Apocalypse is about the survival of the fittest and the lessons that come with that line of thinking. Thanos is about the futility of winning everything, because then you have nothing to strive for. 🖖😎👍

This would sound like the greatest Marvel Villain vs Villain battle of the century for sure. Yet Thanos will still win against Apocalypse because he has far more greater feats of battling opponents from all across the entire Marvel Universe and so far we still haven't seen Apocalypse do any of that stuff yet.
Honestly they are literally almost the same character! I like Apocalypse more but it’s obvious Thanos would win.

Depends who's writing. Thanos is almost never fighting on his base level usually having some plan in play that adds some cosmic tech or power to fight people out of his league all the time.

I side with Apocalypse. Thanos became way overrated way too fast for me. Apocalypse is a better character especially from his depiction in the animated series.
That 90s animated Apocalypse was so illmatic, the X-men version was just DOOMED to failure. I mean, did they even know what he looked like??? Gods, it was awful…

I’m afraid im going have too say Apocalypse. I think we all know he would crush thanos like an aluminum can. He’s been around since ancient Egypt and he’s still stirring up shit . Thanos is just overrated. Apocalypse is the original mutant and has genetically engineered him self with a techno organic virus and has celestial technology enchantments. It is probably time for a cosmic throw down . Thanos is just a fan favourite, it’s all hype. Let alone the Shakespearen type Villain smack talking he can do . He’d Say something like ☝🏻“ All who toon Neal before shall be crushed by the weight of my will alone “ . He all ways has witty villains shit too say , where as thanos just stews in his own juices. It not that Apocalypse would smack thanos into the 5th dimension. He’s also got a high “Smack talk “ factor. And if you’re a Villain , you always have too have the better answer too shut up the nay sayer “ Goodie Goodies “. It’s not just about being the most powerful, it’s about having the lines that but fear into their hearts. “ I’m dealing out Second helpings of pain on the house, come and get some “ .
Just starting the video, but something to add to the caveat section: not sure how to make it equal as far as gear goes(certainly no Gauntlet) but Apocalypse does have his Celestial armor and technology improvements, whereas I don't think Thanos has any suit upgrades. That's just under the assumption of taking the two and tossing them at each other. Gonna watch the rest of the video and comment again!

This isn't about Thanos.. Stan Lee would roll over in his grave knowing Nimrod killed Apocalypse.. Stan Lee would have Apocalypse destroying Nimrod and the Sentinals.. Apocalypse is on a level by himself and noway Nimrod could defeat Apocalypse..
