@@ClareLongendyke I say this after listening to a dozen pianists on youtube play this piece. You really respected the indicated dynamics right from the opening notes, which must be extremely difficult to do at that speed.
@@guybacos It takes imagination, that's for sure, and a very careful touch and understanding of the physical mechanics of the instrument. I listened to many recordings, too, as I was learning this movement (and, especially at that time, I played this piece quite a bit, on different instruments all with differing capabilities), but I couldn't find one that I thought captured the "air" piano that Berio so precisely notates in every gesture. I'm so honored that my interpretation fit what you were looking for sonically! That's an enormous compliment. Thank you!
