You weave meditative melancholy, trembling introspection, and turbulent passion into a narrative that feels profoundly human yet illuminated by some distant, elusive wellspring of the sublime. What an astonishingly radiant, liquid cantabile you conjure from the keyboard - notes seem suspended beyond their natural decay, shaped entirely by your will. The subtle shaping and voicing of the left-hand figures is equally marvellous. Many congratulations!

This nocturnal is undoubtedly one of the most disturbing: mysterious at first and then passionate in the more lively passage that leads to a surprising danced passage in Major and then these dramatic octaves, the theme that comes back and these last more liminal notes. It is really sublime and you restore it to perfection with a game of great subtlety Bravo Angelo!

Beautiful! No offence but why the gloves?

@kolyakleinblatt1253 The gloves have been a part of my rehabilitation back to playing after an injury (which took me away from the stage for over two decades). More details are on my professional website. Please subscribe and thanks for your curiosity and interest!, best, A

Isn't it slippery with the gloves?

It certainly can be at least initially. But one gets used to it. More importantly (for me) they have been instrumental in my come back to performing after a sabbatical of over 22 years after a non piano related injury halted my career. You may read more about it on my official website (www.angelovillani.com) Thanks for your curiosity and interest. Please subscribe! -best, A
