- Thorpe Park have announced they're planning to build a 236ft Hyper Coaster, with 3 inversions and even a splash down! Yes, this is happening!

I think this ride is going to be amazing and most of all it will help the crowding problem. Another thing is aswell I do wonder if they will give this ride a theme and if so what could they do. This all honestly exites me

I can see Project Exodus having an Egyptian theme
The rides planned for the oldtown section, going Egyptian wouldn't make sense

I was a bit underwhelmed to start with but after watching your video I am hyped. It looks a bit too short but will be intense.
Until AT confirms SW9, when Exodus is complete TP will be the best park for rides in the UK.

I love how the intended height is 1ft taller than what Pleasure Beach claim the Big Ones height is. Stops any dispute from BPB over Project Exodus being the tallest.

Correct me if I’m wrong, (I know it’s not the most important part of the ride but...) is this the first outwards-banking turn in the UK?
Technically Icon has something similar, but very slightly, in the 2nd half 🙂👍 but this is going to be a million times more impressive I think
Is it confirmed if the area is entirely for Project Exodus or is there a chance of similarly themed small and Flat Rides being located in the vicinity?
Nothing confirmed as of yet, think it will only be able to fit Kiddie size attractions like before though.
@@ScrewyLoops Yeah judging by the current plans theres very little space. I was just wondering as I spent the weekend in Rookburgh, Phantasialand and its a huge area just for one ride + Thorpe already have the one-ride Swarm Island themed area. Its a popular trope but it makes the new areas feel empty. I hope with such a massive ride there are one or two small "cool down" rides around it to help people cope with the main rides extreme forces. Maybe just me 😅

There are coasters that are small and there are coasters that are far away,
I'm happy the record is going to be beat but I have a soft spot for the big one I rode it as a kid and it helped me get over of my fear of heights. I hope project exodus gets a good theme like doctor who
Keep in mind the project hasnt been approved yet. Theres a chance the layout may change or be cancelled altogether
Do you reckon exodus will be added and then merlin will f**k of for another 10 years or do you think they’ll continue to add to the park?
Hopefully if London Resort comes, it will bring competition to the Merlin parks. In turn, more investments 👍👍

My only thoughts on this rollercoaster is the length which should be longer and in addition, the park chooses to not do another horror theme. This horror theme for the past decade is getting repetitive at this point.
