i was in this play and i played two characters, but one of them struggled really hard with anxiety, and when i was working through how to play her i just had a bit of a moment of “oh i’m like her”
I recently played Belle in Beauty and the Beast and realized me and her were so similar with so many things, I honestly have an attachment to her now because of how much that role changed my life ❤
Oh god, literally me when I played anna in frozen. Anna is *literally* just me if I was completely isolated from civilization when I was growing up rather than just lonely
I wasn’t like my character in her struggles, but very much so in her demeanor. When I was talking to the music director abt that, he said “yeah, there might have been a little type casting there” 😂

I played a psychotic Cinderella. And after the play my friends were like “it makes sense that you played the character.” My director also said I was “bipolar Cinderella.”
Me because I have this one director that always casts me as the villain roles (not that I mind those are my favorite roles to play)
Omg I LOVED playing the villain! They’re just so fun, and a really healthy way to get certain emotions out without irl hurting someone 😂

If you ever lose confidence in yourself just pretend that you’re in a show and you’re everybody’s favorite character.
I have only played in a few shows, but sometimes I'll be singing a random broadway song, and then, "oh. I guess my life is kinda like theirs🫤"
