I really appreciate your page. I spent all day working on this. Playing it slow but I got the lick down by memory. I’m a new player. Only a year and a half in
Since so many guitar players start off in the A-minor pentatonic with a 1-4-5 progression, you should make the exact same type of video but with minor triads. I know if would be helpful.
This opened my eyes to how to actually apply the caged system to find the triads I want. Great lesson that my listeners enjoy when I’m warming up. Thanks!
I’ve learned a lot licks, riffs, transitions, fills, etc from probably 100 TH-cam videos and this one is by far the most fun and melodically that I have ever learned. I LOVE IT and I play it as my warm up every day. I’ve added some elements and elongated it a bit but the core is this lesson. Thank you very much!
Thanks Brett - This is a seminal Lesson for intermediate players wanting to progress to the next level. So well explained & demonstrated - Awesome teacher!
Liked this lesson a lot. Especially how you explained the count to establish how to get in and out of the lick to the chords. I always have trouble on how to start a solo. I think this will help me in that regard. Thanks Brett.
I love the shorts but it's good to have a little more detail. Great lesson! I'll use this a lot and as you said an easy one to play in different keys 👍
LOl you right! I guess that one is for you to figure out on your own. I just added it off the cuff while recording. You can get it if you use your ears and watch my hands.
