@@markgarin6355 I doubt they let him spray poison on those bees. Probably just some organic tea to help them chill out, followed by vacuuming them into his ghostbuster canister he brought with him.
Just so you know. He was spraying sugar syrup on them to keep as many from flying off as he could. Makes em a bit sticky and forces them to groom. Very cool though, I am a beekeeper myself. Just a hobby keeper; only 4 colonies.
You’re the only person I’ve seen provide any details at all about what the guy actually did to get rid of the colony 😆 so what happened do you think? Were they killed or relocated somehow?
Not for me! It happened TWICE in Cincinnati at Riverfront Stadium, and I happened to be at one of those games! That time, there was a short delay while the bees settled down on the screen above and behind the visitors' on deck circle. The Reds' game eventually continued while the bee colony calmly went about its business, but a bunch of season ticket holders bailed out!
Honestly, this odd and wholesome stuff is what makes baseball uniquely great... Even though, I guess the same could/would happen in any outdoor sport 🤔

I give Mr. Beekeeper the respect for cleaning up a swarm of bees that delayed the game between the Dodgers and the Diamondbacks at Chase Field! Great job, Mr. Beekeeper! There was also great news that he got to throw the first pitch of the game!
Lol, show up to do your job and there's camera people following your every move, drunk people cheering you on, people interviewing you. What a surreal experience for that guy I would have gone full mascot, having certain sections cheer with the raise of my hands

First time in Baseball history that someone was called up from T-Ball straight to the Majors
I cant BEElieve it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Making the jump to the Majors has a whole new meaning now for this guy. The D-Backs can only hope this guy is the second coming of Albert Pujols.
Will the team offer him a contract as official Beekeeper of the Diamondbacks

Most likely relocated, if the pest control company is smart they would work with local beekeepers to relocate swarms and hives they encounter.
Thanks, I thought it was smoke to make them sleep .
You are spot on sir.
do you normally use a shop vac to move a swarm after spraying them with that syrup?
D-Backs should do a bobble head promotion of the bee keeper ASAP
They have a baseball card of him rn😂😂
Atleast he can now say. "Been there, done that" whenever someone says that they wish to throw the first pitch of a MLB game.
