Where Do I Sell Things Online? Poshmark Vs. Mecari Vs. Ebay Vs. Amazon And Which Is Best?

I typically get asked where should I sell things online? This questions then leads to where do you recommend I sell things online. Selling things online and or products you buy from a store is a great way to make money! Having had my Ebay account for over 20 years, selling on Poshmark Mecari and Amazon for 6 or more years I definitely have an opinion on where you should get started these days. This video is going to give you an overview of each platform. It will talk about the ins and outs of each reselling channel so you can decide for yourself where you should get started selling things online based on the recommendations. This video isn't just for the new seller. If you're an intermediate reseller and you're already selling things online, but are trying to figure out where to go next this is a great video for you too!

I literally just got my account suspended a month because they think I have a 2nd account which I don't. They are such a nightmare!

The thing I'm lucky I did prior was that I stopped doing FBA with them so when they suspended me they didn't have one item of mine in stock. Thank God! Lol I stopped doing FBA with them because of all the horror stories of them hanging onto inventory post suspension and charging storage fees the whole time.

Amazon is tricky to use because you need legal documentations such as a legal trademark or LLC.

You'll want an LLC or similar nowadays before tackling Amazon that's for sure IMO.

I only do eBay and poshmark, I paused my Amazon store cuz it was stressful, and mercari they banned me over some bs 🤦🏾‍♂️

It’s just Poshmark doesn’t sell all items though right… so you’re limited on what items you can sell if I’m not mistaken. Whereas you can basically sell anything on FB marketplace, Amazon, EBay, etc.?

Poshmark expanded their categories. It used to just be stuff you can wear now it's Home goods, electronics all kinds of stuff

I just tried signing up at PoshMark and they kept pulling my items, they are still super choosy about what you can sell. I checked their rules page and it said they don't want to fill their site up with 'clutter'. Good lord, whatever. Life is too short to deal with that on a regular basis

How is the buyer traffic on Mecari? Would it be a place to sell auto parts? I mainly sell vintage auto parts on the side. Some other odd's and ends. Used to do vintage electronics. I assume Any place other than ebay is relegated to crafts, cloths and NEW items.

I closed my shop on Etsy. They were suspending accounts for no reason & holding on to sellers money. I closed my account & deleted everything on there before I was suspended for no reason too. Walmart I hear is just like Amazon kinda of a headache for sellers.

I have a problem with selling on ebay. they said i cant list more than 10 items but i only have 1 item listed and can't list anything else because of a limit, any advice? thanks!

If you have a 10 item limit but they only let you list one item you'll want to talk to support that sounds like a glitch.
If you're interested in raising your limit after the glitch is taken care of.. List fast selling items that you break even or make very little profit on. If you are new to eBay or haven't used your account much they set limits. They'll increase limits the more you sell and have good transactions. Fast selling items will get you there quicker.
