    U say the seats comfortable but U can’t tell if a seats comfortable until U take it for a long drive & most that buy the 70 series change the seats my 2021 ford ranger was ok till my first long drive & its 💩 so had to install a gel pad & back support 🤔

    • @Car-crazy
      @Car-crazy 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the feedback. I was simply saying how the seats felt to me at the show. And they felt comfortable. It may be true what you say, but obviously I could not take it for a test drive, but more often than not I can judge the seat comfort and how it will be by simply sitting on it for a minute or two and how well I fit in the seat. When I bought my BMW, I knew straight away the seats would not be comfortable for long journeys, no lumber support, too hard and I am too wide for the seats, and I was spot on, but then I didn't buy it for long journeys. Anything more than 100k's and I need a break. The first time I sat in the Prado I knew the seats would be good for long journeys, it has lumber support and is more than wide enough for me to comfortably fit the seat, the degree of padding is just right for me, and I was spot on. Sometimes it can be the suspension that is causing a less than satisfactory ride on longer journeys. Putting in different seats can help compensate for the poor ride caused by the suspension and handling. But yes not all seats are good for sure and what might be good one person may not suit another.

    Hello everyone. Just wanted to give you all an update on the 70 and 250 series land cruisers. I spoke with my local dealer today and asked if they knew anything more about its release date in terms of being able to order it as well as pricing. Well I was told the 70 series will be probably be available from late November this year to order...but that is not definite. The 250 will be available after possibly sometime in December this year....again not confirmed. I was also told numbers will be limited and very difficult to order if at all possible. They also are not going to discount the car either. This is for Japan so you can expect those dates to be considerably later for other countries. So as it stands those waiting to be able to order one will have little to no hope this year I think for those in Japan and for other countries if you can order it I reckon your looking at spring at the earliest. I expect will not be cheap either, I am guessing the entry level model will come in at a similar price to the previous 150 series mid to top range pricing and going up from there for the higher trim models. If I here any more details I will update this again....I think I will be sticking with my car I have.

    I'm guessing your Prado has the 2GR-FE, the 4.0L v6 taken from the 4Runner? and I think its also in the FJ Cruiser too. The new 250 series will have the 1GD-FTV 2.8L turbo diesel (global market), its the same engine that powers the global Hilux platform, and its been around for quite a while and so far there hasn't been any major issues. My dad owns a Fortuner, the SUV version of the Hilux, its got the same engine in it too, he has owned it for 7 years and counting, no issues whatsoever, so I can attest to its reliability. In regards to the North American version of the 250 series, those will be powered by an iForce hybrid engine, which will be the same engine in the new Tacoma, and possibly the upcoming 4Runner. It's just that not a lot of people in the west know about it becuase it hasn't been marketed that much over there, it was mainly geared towards the Asian & Australian market, and I believe its different there in Japan too. edit: I was writing the comment midway through the video, now I know your Prado actually has the 1GD diesel engine

      @@Kiwi_NZ610 well they are like on any other car. If you switch to the auto setting they will come on when it gets dark. And for the auto high beam they come on and off automatically also. When there are no other cars or lights in front of the car the high beams switch on, and they go off when they detect oncoming cars and when the speed drops below about 20kph or you go around very slow corners. But you can override the auto setting and manually put the high beams on and off also. There are occasions when the auto high beam might keep on longer when it sees a car if your coming around a corner on a hill for example or someone walking down the side of the road towards you they will not dip. On those occasions using them on manual can override this problem, but 98% of the time they work very well.
