- If you are looking to create the best dinos that you can then make sure you check out this dino guide. Like the video says this guide will teach you to breed the best dinos in ark with examples to get lots of mutations and end up with supper dinos! This is my complete and full version!

How to get awesome mutations on your dinos
Step one: Find a good cliff

Just wanna say thank you for the video. Me and my wife have played ark for years but never got in depth breeding, this was extremely helpful and now I am confident we can start breeding out rex army and our magma's to be boss killing machines thanks to you're video.

He replaced his level 1 male with a male that has a food mutation for demonstration purposes, but if you want the best STAT results over the highest level, don’t waste a mutation point on stuff like food and oxygen (unless it’s something that swims well obviously)
I need that food mutation actually lol
Also food mutation is good for war pigs.

One thing with what you were doing is once it has 20 mutations thats it cant get any more?
If you only wanted mutations on one stat say health only, would you keep throwing the alpha male until you got only health mutatations? Does that work?
The reason that you have 'clean' females, and an alpha man is so that one side has no mutations and can therefore provide better results for the long term of your dinos.

QTE best people don’t think this is how you get ‘super dinos’ and waste tons of time to get a handful of stat points and capped mutations.
This is a great video! Very simple and cleared a lot of stuff up for me! Your recaps mid ways through stages is excellent for helping everyone keep up, as you said it can get hectic and those recaps help everyone stay on track, thanks man!
This is by far the best video i've watched on breeding, you don't ramble on and you're easy to understand. Now when I start my tek raptor breeding project I'll have a better idea on what to do.

In theory.. you don't actually want the food mutation or oxygen mutation right?? I mean I was thinking you would likely want Health,Stam and Melee Damage for 90% of dinos..
I mean oxygen may be good for gasbags...if you want to mutate them

The moment you started off at the beginning saying you were really going to take this step by step in every little detail and guaranteeing i'll understand this, "because who better to teach you than a teacher huh?" (i wholeheartedly agree!), i was like, "yes, yes, YESSS!" everyones been trying to explain this breeding to me and for the most part ive been understanding the concept (i now know im at that stage where im breeding my alpha breeders now), but i was still feeling unsure of what i was doing. you REALLY did lay this out in very solid systematic detail. this was EXACTLY what i was needing and been looking for all this time. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for really teaching it thoroughly from the basics to the advanced. Now i can continue breeding confidently :)

Hey teach, i just want to say im sorry man, u see i judged a book by its cover because i watched one of ur videos (i think also commented on it) as i was getting back to ark, liked it and next thing i know TH-cam overwhelmed me with your videos on every single search i did for boss fights giving me the old ones without dmg numbers, but after days and carefully reviewing your channel i most say you my friend have saved me hours on end of grind and as a solo player u can only imagine how much i appreciate it so my eternal gratitude my friend thank you for all the awesome and nit content...

The way u use in the firat 39 mins, is for pushing lvls, having more levels on ur tames, if u looking for a exact mutaiins, just dont change the male until u get the mutation u want on male, or female, preferably male

How do you know if there’s a mutation on a specific stat, I have a patrilineal mutation on a female rhino but Idk where the mutation is, although it did get a different color pattern coat
This would be a lot of help if i didnt have such bad memory lol but if I listen to it while playing it may help. I hope it does.
Did you use a mod to check the stats with the tek binoculars? Just wondering 😔 cause I'm playing on small tribe's and I use dododex to check out stats.
What do you do to check the mutation points on your binocular?

You have some damn good luck. You go a double mutation and triple twins.
I’ve heard that it actually does mutation roll, and then stat roll first. Cases of where mutation points occur, and it’s ONLY cosmetic, with no stat mute given.

Quick question... new to breeding and ark in general, is it better to breed lvl 1 dinos so all levels thrpugh mutatuons or try and tame max level dinos with high tame efficiency then breed those up?

Hey Teach, just double checking to make sure I don't screw anything up when I start this process. Is it a problem if I start breeding my lvl 51 male raptor with my lvl 40 and 35 females? You started the breeding on those Dodos at lvl 1 so I want to make sure there is no problems with breeding starting at a higher level?
This is how a team of people should have fun ark is a great game when you accomplish stuff together as a group
Hey got a lil bit of it I did with argys but instead of a higher level I have low one but it has health stem nd kinda weight
One thing u need to watch out for is stacking mutations like with the orange dodo it had 2 mutations in maternal and 2 mutations in paternal but it only had the mutated hp stats and the mutation oxy stat which is only 3 mutations so it got the extra mutation for the male with the food mutation but it didn’t get the food stat
I wouldn't be surprised, if down at the bottom of the cliff is a stone age KFC now... endless supply of free Dodos 😂

bro thanks so much i did this for a month got a dodo( i did play with configs) that can eat a fully charges compound arrow to the face. and i counted the dodos i trew off a cliff( into my troodon breeding and taming room) 5000. it was boosted rates
Are binoculars only on Genesis, or can you have them on the other maps? Is there other some in-game app that can help see the point distribution? I already know about dododex

I understand for the most part but the main thing I still am not sure of is how you keep stacking them to above 20 mutations if you’re only allowed to have 20 on each side. Do I keep one with no mutations for later? Pls help
