Down river about 45 minutes drive to moonshine boat lunches.just follow the river Down. You will not miss it. It has a big sign say moonshine boat lunches on it on the right. Last boat launch on that area.
Hey man, I'm planning to go this April. I only been to Huntington to fish for catfish. I read your comments and you did mentioned that you launch your boat at Moonshine. Is that near Huntington exit? Also, does it matter where you anchor your boat for night crappie fishing? Thanks for your help in advance!
It will take about 1 hrs drive from huntington following the river to richland and to fishing for crappies at night you must find a spot where the fish at to catch them at night.

Thanks . I fish both ways from the boat launch area, but mostly on the oregon side. If you go to the left to richland. Not that far from the boat launch. Go to where the river turns a little to the right, just fish around the left side around the pool area . Anywhere from the boat launch left and right along Oregon side is good. You will see people fish from the bank on the right side going up the river.

South of richland oregon. Moonshine boat launch and you can camp there if spot not fill up yet.

Take snake river rd. Drive along the snake river. It will take you all the way to moonshine boat lunches .

We find spots where the fish is at and just anchor.

That is depend on where you find the fish hanging at. Usually 20 to 50 ft. I find one spot that is 90ft. Down .
