Al thank you for sharing these videos. I grew up over there and know Brownlee very well. It’s really nice to get to see it again after all these years.

The closest ramp to the Brownlee is at Richland Oregon Hewett Park about 1 mil out of town
the fish should be any were between 30 to 45 feet maybe even 50 feet start out with white curly tail grub
go to the bottom and cum up very slow stopping ever so often.

Hi Al. Curious how deep you would target these fish in the first two weeks of June. Growing uo in the Midwest, we would find these fish in 18 inches of water. Hardly the case out west i feel like. Anyways, taking my boy the first part of June. He is five and catching panfish would be great for him. Do you have a recommended boat launch? Thank you.

Al you seem to have the crappie dialed in. My son and I usually go in early August and love to fish for crappie and catfish. We love the park it is nice to camp on the green grass. May I ask what do you use for a jig for crappie and what is the best bait for catfish. ? We have fished for catfish in the upper bay at night and did fair. We have not had good luck with crappie. Is August just not a good time to go ? Thanks for your videos, they are very well done.

      Good day Jon
I am 76 years and fished BrownLee for 50 years Probably only missed a hand full of years in all that time
and i think that Aug is the hardest Month of all to fish BrownLee the heat and the water is dropping.
When they fluctuate the water up and down in the summer it just messes with the fish mainly the Crappie
i go in the Spring May and June and then i go in September later in the month and October is really good
but the Park is closed (Oct 1st )for the winter but the ramp is open and you can stay just $4 a day but no Electricity
I am going this Sept around the 15th of the Month,
I fish the Cats in June in the upper Bay usually the Carp are spawning then and the cats go for the Carp eggs.
I use Prawns for My fav Bait or Cats & Crappie meat with the skin on second.
I usually go out in the Main Snake River for my crappie. the best Jig i use is the Bobby Garland Shad Crappie Baits
Glow 2" and 1" and i also put on a Crappie nibble or a new Product out by Berkley called Crappie Fire balls Red!!
      or the Green sometimes works.
Keep a lookout in September for a new Video on that tripe.
Thanks for watching my Videos and don't forget to give me a Thumbs up Pleas and subscribe Helps the algorithm.

Thank you for the info. I wondered if you went in the snake for crappie. Do you go upriver or down. Thank you for the tips. I will definitely support your channel.
