I hope watch box studios offers you a job. I think You would make an awesome apprentice to Tim Mosso.

Hey! Great review! Love the blue dial on this one. I recently purchased this same watch in the black and rose gold version. I’m a big fan of watches and this is my first automatic watch. I tried the manual winding like you but am unable to figure it out properly. Is there a difference in these 2 watches since they look identical. Also how often should I wear the watch so it doesn’t stop working. It already stopped a few times and I had to set the time again. I use Apple Watch regularly and this automatic mechanism is kind of confusing, so looking for some guidance! Much Appreciated

Hey is the band removable ?

@@warriorzmindset I think an Authorized Dealer can replace the band for you. Let me know also if you find more info about this

Power reserve is 72 hours, for a Swissmatic movement, so, three days of run time, off wrist. Might want to invest in a winder to keep it running, if you don't want to be resetting it constantly. Congrats on your first auto!

I have a similar one, and find gripping the crown, in order to wind it, very difficult. Does anyone else have this problem? I end up pushing up on the crown and pulling my finger forward. This, however, is uneven pressure, and can't be good over time. Any thoughts?

The movement is not the smoothest in the business but if you ate finding it difficult beyond measure it may need a warranty service.

I don't find turning the crown difficult in itself; the way it's covered gives little exposure on top. You have to pinch it by the edge, if you want to turn it with two fingers.@@theopulentlife889

Two very different watches, I'd suggest the Alpinist instead as it is more versatile

BEAUTIFULL WATCH MEANING DESIGN BUT A VERY DULL MOVEMENT..

I have that watch, love it, but it doesn't have hacking (stopping the seconds hand when you pull out the crown to set the time), and for a Swiss movement it is disappointing since even Chinese watches have hacking as a bare minimum! This movement is an ETA with following specs:
    Caliber Number C15.111
Base Caliber Sistem 51 (ETA C10.111)
    Diameter 14 1/4”’ (33mm)
    Thickness 5.77mm
Vibrations Per Hour 21,600 bph 3Hz
    Power Reserve 72+ hours
    Jewels 19
    Anti-Shock Nivachoc
    Barrel Spring Nivaflex
    Hacking Crown No
    Hand-Windable? Yes
Functions Hours, minutes, central seconds, date
    Country of Manufacture Switzerland
