🎓🔥 Strategy Guide | Diarouga's Aztec Fast Industrial

Start (10 sec): build a fire pit
Age with 16 population (around 3min)
Transition (3min10): Put all the vills on wood but 5 until you get a house then put these on the firepit
Age 2 (4:30) : Train a warrior priest and send 3 warrior priests
5:10 : From 700w, build a market, houses and a warhut. Switch your firepit villagers to food/coin (usually 7-8 on coin, others on food)
NOTE : Against passive civs, you might want to skip the 4-5 pikes
Against fast civs, you want to put 4 villagers on the warhut instead of 1
5:40 : When you have 10 wp, switch the firepit to exp dance
Wall your base
6:00 : send 5v and 600 coin and 600 coin a second time
7:40 age with the chief politician and gather enough resources for industrial
9:40 Send smoking mirror and 1k wood and age with the 5 skull knights politician
10min : Train maces, upgrade then, ship mace shipments and use the firepit to train skull knights.
If the explorer dies, use the healing dance to get him back. Make sure you use the war dance during a fight

I tried this yesterday against Japan. I was in Industrial while he was still in Colonial. He was too scared to attack but by the time he built a huge army of Naginatas and Ashis, I had 40 skull knights and 46 Maces, all from shipments and the pit! I can tell you I wiped out his entire army in about 5 seconds. Never see anything like it! As mentioned in the vid, you dont even need much food. My opponent had more than twice as much resources as me but stood no chance.

Even as I dislike AoE3 had sort of 1-way dimensions in strategy, compared with AoE2 and AoM, this is truly a good strategy and shows how the balance of the old games were back in the day where top players were very skilled and ahead. Players are just used to slower and dumber crap now and even in fps and rts both it shows alot, the balance teams make a ton of mistakes in balancing or they simply make the game so bad that the so called skill ceiling is lowered, so no one can possibly become better at it. See for example the aoe4 flop where player counts in 2021 are not even more than aoe2(1999) and remakes anymore. Even aoe3 had better 'game design' than that.
This seems pretty insane considering he is under 9-10minutes getting to Industrial and you can then go to the last age or go somewhere else as the game is usually either all-in rushes that are boring or many games are boomer-centric for team games;
I disliked it more because it doesn't have oldschool balance like in the way sc,aoe2,aom, had, and you can just get to a point where you can't counter anything. for example, if you didn't know strats like this, you would be screwed against a player who just uses it, even if you are a smart player, but also that's not exactly the micro and other skills of the past making them elevated.
AoE3 was way ahead of its time tho with the direction it was going, 'fake' useless ranks for players, bad players trying to teamstack dumbed down mechanics, send cards to 'help' do what was being done before, it was like 10 years ahead of the industry, or right at the start of the retarding of the game industry, into the fake esports, virtual items, and child gambling services

Don't do this. 3 WP jump starts the WP boom and fencing school doesn't even affect skull knights.

Fencing school is much better than 3 wp. But you have to send extra vills to the firepit to get it rolling

If you do that it will delay your age up by 25 seconds, and thus your wp boom by 25 sec so you don't want to do that. I usually go for the market and the firepit on wood start. TP+house and firepit in transition is also an option :)

@@sebastiank6629 Eagles are very expensive, and you usually won't have a good eco when you reach the 4th age (and no place to gather food safely), so you want to rely on your explorer, skulls from the firepit and mace shipments.

No you would not. This strategy is very good against Dutch :) I don't remember losing that MU, even against great players such as LordRaphael.
