Well appreciated boys. Don’t blame Indians for not winning multiple medals in Olympic athletics events. Here kids gets hardly 1 period of PT Class in a week. comparatively winning countries have a healthy sports culture in their schools. Still our boys gave their best. We wish we get more athletes in track and field from India. Congratulations for sating New Asian Record. जय हिंद।

The problem with India is that every Olympics we don't have many athletes representing our country because people here aren't professionally trained or don't have resources. This year however a lot more people turned up than ever and won more medals than ever. A turning point for sure. It's people like them who inspire kids to take up sports as a profession and bring pride to our country. To those who ended up in Podium or didn't win a medal, it's never easy to even participate at the Olympics. I am so proud of each and every one of them for taking a stand to represent India WORLDWIDE! JAIHIND!!

The Government of India should also focus more on aquatics, athletics and gymnastics. Of the 300+ events at the Olympics, 120+ events are based only on these three sports.. If every school in India (private or public) runs a running competition every week, we can get 100s Usain Bolt in athletics. But our educational institutions only run sports events for Republic Day week. Sports needs sponsors encouragement. If the BCCI sponsors at least 20% of the amount for other sports instead of the ICC. Many sponsors come to invest in sports, which will improve the sports industry, travel and boarding, tourism in India. The fun fact in India is that millions of great runners are rushing for government jobs, many swimmers are swimming in rivers, lakes and seas because they have not even seen what swimming pools look like, many gymnasts are in dance shows, circuses, trains and street performers.
