Sandra, what was the text book and workbook for learning European Portuguese that you recommended in one of your videos? I think I would like to add that to my resources. I now have a beautiful granddaughter in Coimbra and I’ve been working on Portuguese for about six months now. I think I would make faster progress with a text and workbook where I could see and hear right away whether my answers are correct. I love your videos but haven’t yet figured out how you happen to have what sounds like an American accent! Obrigada, Sarah
Hi Sarah! Glad to help! Here’s the link to the video where I recommend the book. th-cam.com/video/rIBEdT15_7g/w-d-xo.html On the description you have the direct links to the main book and exercise books. My American accent is because I was born in the US ( moved as a child to Portugal) and now I’m back in California. Where do you live?
Would love to contact you regarding hiring you as a private tutor as I am embarking on a journey to get dual citizenship… soon😀

I've always translated atualmente as 'currently'.
Tá certo?
Sim, também está certo! But we also use "atualmente" interchangeably with "hoje em dia" as in "nowadays". Obrigada pelos comentários!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Obrigada!
False cognate for 'ível':
Sensível doesn't mean sensible, but 'sensitive'.
Exatamente!
♥️
Obrigada ☺️
😜🤪
Bons estudos!
