You know… they don't speak about their past or present relationships. How are you speaking so definitely? Unless you are a childhood friend, knowing her would still be hard to find these things out. You may very well be a relative… but I kinda doubt it. These are all questions. Not accusations or anything else.
@@P4ou4 They just talk about individual songs and how they came up with them. They have laid out reasonings behind the themes of each album. They have shown how convincing they can be, especially Pau. She definitely hasn't been an addict at the bottom, and her "YES" after convincing us that she is a creep and a weirdo all show her ability to make us believe. Also, the way she talks about and performs Breathe shows how she is when it is from real hurt. And no, not a relative, just an OG fan.
They are like Kate Bush. Bush rarely wrote songs sbout her own life experienced but she sings like a storyteller who embodies a character. The Warning are the same.
@P4ou4 Depends on the song: "Black Holes " was inspired by an article Paulina read about an addict, "Amour" was inspired by a short scene from the movie "Ratatouille", while "When I'm Alone", "Breathe", and "Animosity" are from some personal perspective.
80s power ballad. OUTSTANDING. Dare I say perfection? Love Paus melodic (sweet) voice. Its a great contrast to and perfect complement with Danys kick you in the face rock voice. Lyrically, all of their songs are extremely mature specially for their age.
Ale designed that base from the woods, electronics, finish, all of it, when she was 15. Then at 18 Spector put out Ale’s signature bass, a 4 string based on this one.
30 days of THE WARNING? To cover their whole catalog of songs you need closer to 50 days, Pau's super power is when she sings she holds your heart in her hands you'll eventually come across a song she sings that WILL bring tears to your eyes, alot of us fans call it cutting onions I don't cook she flat out makes me tear up I'm not afraid to admit it I love her soft voice so emotional.
One clever touch about this song is that it ends unresolved,.both in the lyrics and in the composition. It fnds on an unresolved note. Function reflects content. So clever.
They’re passionate about what they do, and that means they’ve put in the *work* to become masters of their craft. They’ve got loads of natural talent, but what we’re seeing now is a band with *ten years* of training and playing together. I think that’s what wows me as much as anything else, that they’ve put all this dedication into their music, and now they’re about to reap the rewards.
If you liked a slower The Warning song, then you must listen to their dong The Revenant. It will teach you the depths of their talents in tacking more than one music style.
I think both Pau and Dany are so empathetic, that they have the ability to feel and convey emotions honestly through their performances, even if they haven’t experienced the situation they are singing about. Case in point, Black Holes (recommend the Dakota Bar live performance) which Pau wrote about the despair of addiction/alcoholism, when she was just 13. 👍😎
Another slower Pau song is Black Holes (live at the Dakota bar). It’s also hard to listen to for me. They’re all a much younger DPA in that video. I adore Pau’s voice in this live of 23 it’s just incredible. And while drumming? Crazy.
Pau singing a ballad will coax your soul from your body; Dany will reach in and just grab it. Check out Pau's version of Creep, or Revenant from this concert to get more Pau.
Pau is the emotional creative dynamic songwriting force of the band. I think if a song is really personal to her, she wants to perform it. And she makes the listener feel it too
22⚡🤘. yes 23! If this seemed different to you, wait until you get to Revenant, yes, live in this show... it's pure cinematics. It could easily be part of the soundtrack of The Last of Us.
If they sing about things they lived through, that makes the whole Queen of the Murder Scene album quite terrifying. Or the video for Que Mas Quieres. Or Black Holes (I suggest the version from The Dakota Bar) which Pau wrote when she was 13. On the other hand, the things that they actually went through, like Narcisista or Animosity hit really hard. BTW, it is Tay-ah-tro, rhymes with "throw" (Teatro).
Next one: Queen of the Murder Scene live at Teatro Metropolitan. But you need to read a little about the song and album storytelling because oh boy, it makes sense and it’s fantastic! Let’s gooooo!
I discovered your channel recently and I really like your reactions to "the warning" thanks. I'd like to suggest you react to queen of the murder scene live at the metropolitan theatre and martirio but the official video. Greetings from Mexico.
Every song from this concert worth to be watch. This is just perfect live show, light, sound balance, quality of their voice, everything is good. Great reaction 😀
So powerful Pau is incredible her vocals are amazing. Dany's backing vocals especially playing that slide riff at the same time is pretty impressive. Great reaction thanks man. 🔥⚡
There's a song called "Breathe" that Pau refused to sing live. She tried it just one time that I'm aware of and broke down crying by the end. Now when they include it in the set they just play a recording of it while the band takes a break. I believe it was about a friend they lost.
Restart all you want I've easily probably heard it hundreds of times, do what you got to do. If you want to mix up the types of performances you could check out Dany midnight show songs or Pau Creep cover. But they have so much great original stuff and not enough days in a month. What ever you do will be good.
They like to be ambiguous with meanings. Pau writes great lyrics and knows how to disclose just enough to allow everyone their own interpretation. I know that sounds like a cop-out, but I think it's a hallmark of good writing. They haven't directly lived through most of the things they write about but that doesn't mean it's not genuine. If you watch any of their interviews or behind the scenes stuff, you'll immediately be struck by just how down to earth and genuine they are. No rock star egos. They are avid readers, even when on tour, and will always talk about what they're currently reading. So a lot of the stories have a literary origin or inspired from movies. Once again, another great song
Paulina is a true emotive empath - that person who can sense what a person is going through in a story or situation, and then put it into an expression that can be sung with conviction. Watch her version of *Creep* by Radiohead. It is a masterpiece cover that is VERY arguably better than the original. It's played on the out-of-tune piano in their living room, recorded in black-and-white, on an iPhone, but it is just gut-wrenchingly authentic.
With 60 days of warning you can include the rest of the songs from the new album when it releases, just saying. 😇 They are very adept at conveying feelings and emotions through their music that aren't necessarily their own. Pau wrote the most heartwrenching piece of music I know about endstage addiction when she was just 13 for instance. You are right about them being genuine though, watch some interviews and you can clearly see that they are basically the same personalities of and onstage. They just go from lovable girl next door into badass rockstar mode!
I think Pau is the queen of ballads. If you would like to see more of her trying to touch your soul, please check out Revenant from this same concert. And there is a fan recording of Pau playing Breathe on a grand piano live at the Pepsi Center CDMX Best Sound & Video with Subtitles posted by Xavier Xerxes. (There are other fan videos of this but please use his video) This is the only time she has ever performed this song live and she may never perform it again. They are both slow songs but if they don't touch you, you need to check your pulse. Thank you for all of your reactions to our ladies.
It's hard to pick a favorite song from The Warning because they are all amazing, but if I had to pick one it would be this one because of this specific performance. It makes my whole body shudder.
These young ladies just make stuff up sometimes and make you believe it. It may have nothing to do with them personally. They're genius at story telling, Pau's brain is not normal..Dany said, "She has this creative muscle" This power to create" "Words from nowhere" These 3 young people are so special. The future looks brighter everyday..🥰💥🤘🎶✌️
I have listened this song the most (in past week or two..), and with this song I fell in love to Pau's voice completely...Now I know two lovely ladies who makes my heartstrings sing (Paulina Villarreal Vélez and Floor Jansen). As a Pau Fan, I'll say only this: She is AWESOME ❤. NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA 🤘😎🤘
Listen to Amour from this same concert. It has everything; lyrically, instrumentally, vocals, harmonies. The ending will blow you away. The entire song Dany asks the question, then lastly doesn't ask, but demands. I don't need a reaction, but really, it's their best of everything they do IMO. You might even hear some French.
The Warning RULES! Wanna hear Paulina's powerful vocals? check the cover of Radiohead's "Creep" just her and the piano is BUENISIMO! and Yeah let's extend the journey why not.
I think she fell in love with someone older, much older than Her, and that's why they can't be together. It makes it clearer in this part: The world around you cancels out Three words that I can't say out loud Stop me, stop me Feel me, heal me Your eyes meet mine and I implode I guess I'll love you on my own Stop me, stop me Tell me Is it wrong? (Wrong) Is it wrong? Is it wrong? It kills me when you're gone (gone) Is it wrong? Is it wrong? If they're to be together, he would be cancelled by everyone saying he's too old for her. So she will just love him on her own...
Ey, amigo. Entré a tu reacción porque con "23" Paulina suelta todo ese sentimiento que anida en su interior. Esta canción es una gran balada de rock. It is not about a toxic relationship, it is about unrequited love. When you have such feelings a big part of you starts to believe that if your feelings arent reciprocated then something has to be very wrong with you. You ask yourself what is wrong with me? You feel underserving, a minor sort of person, perhaps not evdn worthy of love. Many of us have been there. This is ehy this type of live song, or perhaps i should call it anti-romantic song, remains popular and keeps getting made.
Ok, so if you want to go 'full Pau' then check out Narcisista at the same gig. Some Mexican journalists made some derogatory comments about them singing in English being all anti-mexican, I forget the spanish word but that song is her response. 😮
"The Warning Rock." It defines its own genre. No matter how the song starts, it's going to build and build, taking you to levels never before reached! Just when you think it can't get any better, it does.
The song keeps switching gears. Rising to deferent levels of rhythm and sound. Outstanding crescendo by Pau towards the end. Then fades away with a whimper . 😔 Brilliant! 🤘🕊❤️🤘 ⚡️⚡️⚡️. ✨
It is YOUR reaction/review so do what you need to. you could listen once thru then again a second time to explain what your hearing and a 3rd time for shits and giggles and we'd still be here lol But to hear Pau sing lead while drumming is always special.
Great reaction to The Warning. One thing that a lot of reactors don't mention is when Dany is singing a higher octave then sings a lower octave. Also, the way Dany is singing and sliding notes on her guitar. These 3 sisters are absolutely phenomenal musicians, writers and composers. Truly what the music industry needs right now. Once again, thanks for the great reactions to The Warning... My all time newer favorite band.
Pau, who in, I guess, 2020, supposedly took on a social media challenge to _learn, play, and sing_ Radioheads *CREEP* in 4 hours. She did this in less than 3 hours and this video was only her 3rd try. The 'YES!' At the end of the song was expressing her excitement on completing the challenge in time! It's raw, just her, and the (slightly out of tune) piano in the family living room. th-cam.com/video/A6Y4XpBxjU0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bzIR7S9G5ryRuc_5
*23* to me, *23* is a song about caring deeply for someone from afar, holding back, and then realizing that, in the future, they will meet that someone again... how they will handle their feelings and memories and what may possibly happen... then again, while it sounds personal, maybe this song is about something they might have read or seen in a movie or TV show... after all, their song *Amour* comes from a 15 second clip of a scene in the movie _"Ratatouille"_ ... that scene has the camera looking through a hole in the wooden floor... there are two characters down there having a fight... maybe a lover's quarrel? i don't remember... anyway, they are arguing, they suddenly hug each other, and it is done; end clip... you can see the scene here about 40 seconds in... th-cam.com/video/ZKoF1G7qYCU/w-d-xo.html there's also their song *Wildfire* which was inspired by _"The Hunger Games"_ movies... i think at least the 2nd one titled _"Catching Fire"_ ... DPA/TW have drawn inspiration from a lot of places... IRL, books, movies, games, etc 😹 this song has brought tears to many eyes... while being a powerful drummer, Pau is also a fantastic and very emotive singer... i don't go a day without hearing DPA/TW... they possess both, my heart and soul... TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
0:36 "30 days of Nightwish" lol. I would not be a good reactor because I'd never be able to remember anything and would hate dealing with assholes like me. Anyway - you can rewind Pau as much as you want. We're always ok with that. Another great reaction. If you want to do a couple more 'Pau-centric' reactions, she does a great cover of Radiohead's 'Creep', and if you want to challenge yourself to NOT cry, she does a song called 'Breathe' - has only sang in ONCE live and will never do it again. It's about dealing with the loss of someone who was very close to her - maybe someone here knows who, but it is HEART-WRENCHING dude (be sure to turn on the captions so you can see what she's saying to the audience). "The Warning (Pau) Performs Breathe Live At Pepsi Center CDMX Best Sound & Video with Subtitles (CC)"
Hey what a great reactions! I'm seeing that you have not reacted to the acoustic live yet, look for Sinister Smiles or Hunter both acoustic live. That acoustic session is wonderfull.
Just remember, if someone doesn't like you pausing/replaying it, the video is out there if they just want to watch it w/o interruptions. Just you do you.
Great Reaction 🎬🤘⚡🤘 RORH ✔️ OUT XXI CENTER Blood 🤘 or Metallica Enter the Sandman cover 💥🔥🔥🤘🤘 love your reaction I'm old school Gn🤘X gotta love a Band like this.
Warning everyone. Don't listen to this band. Dangerous for health. I've been listening to them for a month now and can't stop. All other music, all other rock died for me. I have dreams with their music. I fell in love with Ale, went crazy with Pau and got a kick out of Dani’s voice. Help me stop listening to the warning. Thanks in advance.
Check out the artist video here: th-cam.com/video/dq6k4v9i8kc/w-d-xo.html
The Warning...Fantastic Band!
This is one of my favorite performances. Also you called them Nightwish at the beginning of the vid 🤣
Let the video roll and get Animosity. A perfect match!
Awesome song and performance. Thank you for reacting to The Warning. My all time favorite band. ♥️✌🏻😎
They haven't lived through many things they sing about, but they are genius at making you believe that they have. Perfect actors and performers.
empathy allows us to inhabit feelings as though we lived it. she is genius at this
You know… they don't speak about their past or present relationships.
How are you speaking so definitely?
Unless you are a childhood friend, knowing her would still be hard to find these things out.
You may very well be a relative… but I kinda doubt it.

Heart wrenching song about still loving someone you parted ways with. If you want emotion watch Breathe live at the Pepsi Center concert.
Black Holes is another great song sung by Pau and definitely worth a look.
Pau is just so impressive to me! Drumming and singing like that and with so much raw emotion and power! I just absolutely love her!

23 is my personal favourite Pau song.
6:20 The whole song is amazing, but Dany's guitar playing at this point is crazy 🤩
Queens of rock. Very emotional song. As though they know, me, love these ladies.
Another Pau master class! Love this song. Agree it really showcases her voice. Very unique too

This song gives me chills and the thought of Pau maybe being hurt or heartbroken kills me. This song is amazing though.
23 is also sort of Pau's way to say that she's legal to drink anywhere because she turned 21 in 2023
I get unrequited love. Great song. Pau has made many many people cry with the songs that she sings. Thanks for the reaction!

It makes it clearer in this part:
The world around you cancels out
Three words that I can't say out loud
Stop me, stop me
Feel me, heal me
Your eyes meet mine and I implode
I guess I'll love you on my own
Stop me, stop me
Tell me
Is it wrong? (Wrong)
Is it wrong?
Is it wrong?
It kills me when you're gone (gone)
Is it wrong?
Is it wrong?
If they're to be together, he would be cancelled by everyone saying he's too old for her.
So she will just love him on her own...

What planet is Pau from. How'd she and her sister's get here? Great Parenting.. Thanks Mom & Dad Warning parents..🥰✌️
Wonder where they park their space ship...?

*23*
to me, *23* is a song about caring deeply for someone from afar, holding back, and then realizing that, in the future, they will meet that someone again... how they will handle their feelings and memories and what may possibly happen...
then again, while it sounds personal, maybe this song is about something they might have read or seen in a movie or TV show... after all, their song *Amour* comes from a 15 second clip of a scene in the movie _"Ratatouille"_ ... that scene has the camera looking through a hole in the wooden floor... there are two characters down there having a fight... maybe a lover's quarrel? i don't remember... anyway, they are arguing, they suddenly hug each other, and it is done; end clip... you can see the scene here about 40 seconds in... th-cam.com/video/ZKoF1G7qYCU/w-d-xo.html
there's also their song *Wildfire* which was inspired by _"The Hunger Games"_ movies... i think at least the 2nd one titled _"Catching Fire"_ ...
DPA/TW have drawn inspiration from a lot of places... IRL, books, movies, games, etc 😹
this song has brought tears to many eyes... while being a powerful drummer, Pau is also a fantastic and very emotive singer...
i don't go a day without hearing DPA/TW... they possess both, my heart and soul...

Dust to dust, Survive, Narcisista, and Disciple. Yw😉
Hey what a great reactions! I'm seeing that you have not reacted to the acoustic live yet, look for Sinister Smiles or Hunter both acoustic live. That acoustic session is wonderfull.
I seen they have some acoustic stuff out! I'll get a couple of those in there!
🤘🤘🔥
Pau is our Mozart! #GetWarned
Just remember, if someone doesn't like you pausing/replaying it, the video is out there if they just want to watch it w/o interruptions. Just you do you.
And the Rabbit Hole was born!
Try Pau s solo This is the End ( stars seems to fade ) thats also one of my favorite Paus song.
Te-a-tro, 3 syllables not two. It's Spanish for theater.

Teatro, pronounced….Tee-ah- trow!
