One of the best implementations they made roleplay wise, is the fact that you can respond to various npc's, sorta like RDR 2 Antagonize/Greet system. Hope they make use of that mechanic to it's fullest. So excited for this game!
3:14 No it wont be there for archery,crossbows and firearms. Fun fact, there will be two types of firearms. First is Whistle (Píšťala in Czech) and Second is Hook gun (Hákovnice).
According to using the bow ...In KDC 1 I installed a mod which kept the aiming point on screen while using the bow...and I have to say it made using the bow then way too easy ...so I finally understood why they did that and I got rid of that mod because honestly bow shooting felt then totally overpowered because I didn´t miss any shot anymore which was on the one hand totally unrealistic and on the other hand also took away the feeling to achieve something, so basically I took away the fun..BUT it was nevertheless very helpful to play with the aiming point for a while for then playing without aiming point again because while using the mod I required the right muscle memory and timing for handling my game pad controller for bow shooting during that time
Exactly. By the way, you don't actually need a mod for the crosshair. There's a console command to enable it, however I completely agree with you. Either we should have no crosshair, or have a crosshair that moves with the sway of the bow, maybe that gets unlocked with a perk. Something like that. I am leaning towards no crosshair though, I kinda like not having it personally. :3 And for those that want an easier time aiming, you could use a crossbow in the new game which seems to basically have the bolt as the sights.
I'm hoping that the horse riding uses the same system as Red Dead Redemption. Tapping what would normally be the Sprint button to accelerate the horse. Holding it to maintain the current speed. Tapping it further to go full gallop. Horses automatically jump over low obstacles and stop before it hits an object unless you force it to. Of course, this all only becomes available if you meet the horse's Horsemanship requirement, and if there's any Bonding mechanic.
I personally didn't have any trouble with the horse riding in KCD1. The only times it was awkward was when trying to jump over small obstacles, or colliding with bushes.
