@@Fatal_ErrorGaming you think nadu should be banned because it won a cedh tournament and its been out for a month? What about the other cedh winning decks?
It depends, there are plenty of variations with landfall, and there it's a yes on excess. As you should UNLESS someone else is about to win than it’s better to let nadu take a long turn not win and counter the player that is about to win since you countered nadu

went up against a pretty meta version of this commander At a table a couple of days aago. 70 percent of decks are pretty much pointless against it. There's some people I play with who are saying the powerreep's going to start alienating the casual crowd away from commander,
We have been saying this ever since Magic started recognizing EDH as an official format.... and so far, it has been true and will keep creepin. Decks from 5 years ago that were competitive are on the same level as most precons of today.
As a relatively new player, I really like this card. I get why people overreact to this, but at a casual level by no means feels worst than eldrazi cards or commander staples. Nowadays feels impossible to play with and against it but was fun.
I played against it. Our pod had 30% game time. He had 70% with all the effects and stuff. Not fun. Now maybe its awesome in a tourney but anyway its not for us.
Tbh idc if the RC bans NADU or not. I will simply leave if I see it or kick them out of the pod either or. It’s one thing to take a long ass turn to win the game but just to advance the board state?! NAH!!!! GET OUT!!!
Not a fun deck to play against. Especially if your group runs precons and its a 800 dollar Nadu deck. It was a bad enough experience i would be skeptical on how much time any Nadu deck eats up at the table. When we played this guy easily had 70% of game time. Felt like watching someone rush along playing solitaire 😆 🤣
