  • How to make a simple 3D potted plant using just raw SketchUp with no plugins and in less than 20 minutes. Version of software used for this example: SketchUp Make 2017. Video recorded with almost no preparations at all so some silly non-productive moves can be expected, as well as some poor model organization.

    how do you copy the hexagon exactly on the face of the branch? like, it changes position and orientation at once O:

      Hi Dezita, actually it's a great question and thank you for it. The trick is that you need to draw the hexagon or any other shape you want to act like this inside the boarders of one bigger plane (like I have used rectangle here, the first shape I drew in this video). Please inform me if it works with you as well.
