    A lot of people are hating on lyles in the 100m probably because they think he’s annoying but I’d say he could very well win the 100m. His 9.81 was into a slight headwind and kishane ran 9.77 with a 0.9m/s tailwind so both times are comparable if you take the wind out of the equation. In kishane thompsons latest race he ran 9.91 but into 0.6 headwind. I think lyles will just about take it. I also think he’s focusing on the 100m more than 200m for the Olympics as if he can get the 100m then the 200 is almost definitely in the bag as that’s his more natural event.

    • @midrib6246

      Did you watch Kishanes 9.91? He shut it down with about 20m left

    • @TheRealSwiperTheFox
      @TheRealSwiperTheFox หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You're leaving out that Kishane shut down in all his races he ran so far. So we still don't know how fast he can run. We do know that his season best/pr last year was a 9.85 going all out. So for him to run a 9.77 slowing down means he can definitely go faster

    • @BitCrafted
      @BitCrafted หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@midrib6246 you could say a similar thing for Noah lyles, he didn't look like he was going 100% at the end.

    • @BitCrafted
      @BitCrafted หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@midrib6246 yes but with lyles running a 9.81 into a slight headwind and him really dialling down on the 100m I think he is the favourite for gold. Lyles is also consistent, his last 3 races have all been under 9.85. It will be very close though.

    • @GlowIndDark
      @GlowIndDark หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      BRO Kishane Ran 9.77 shutting down at 80m everybody who really know track and watched that race knows what that means. With that race alone he is already one of the fastest men alive. Noah will have to obliterate his personal best to reach 9.77, Kishane has yet to run all out, Noah ran all out in his last race based on what i saw.@BitCrafted

      Times in pacemaker races mean little when tactics play a much greater role as they do at the World Champs and Olympics. The winner of the Olympic Gold will be the runner who executes the best tactics on the day. It may well be Ingerbrigsten but Kerr is a great tactician and someone else may also surprise if they run a smart race.

      All of these races have one thing in common and the one that he did win you'll notice it was very similar to a rabbited race. I didn't include the European championships because that is not against the world's best.

    I think wanyonyi will take the gold in the 800m just because he’s a young runner so is more likely to have improved since he ran that 1:41 and in the race against Sedjati it was close and I think he could have beaten him if he didn’t lead from the front and have a crazy first 400m split. Could go either way though but I wouldn’t be surprised if the 800m time is close to the world record and I think there’s a good chance David rudishas record could be broken in the next year.

    You do not seem to know the 110m hurdlers except the Americans. Jamaica men will sweep the 110m hurdles.

      Grant Holloway is not leaving without a medal. He's not choking on the last hurdles the way he sometimes used to. Jamaica does overperform in the 110m hurdles, and maybe you can mix it up with Roberts and Crittenden, but I think JA put too many eggs into the "run slow until the Olympics" basket this year.
