I know you prefer third person perspective but you would be able to navigate the precarious pathways and shoot a lot easier in first person. The game was designed for first person plus you will see a lot more without a human hogging most of your screen. ;)
All true, but I really don't like 1st person. I find it weirdly claustrophobic.
