Its difficult to put into words why I was so dissapointed by the ending of this show. The early seasons were so much fun and i feel like its really lost a lot of that magic as it continued

I really loved the movie and the Future spinoff, but I get it's not what some would expect from the tone of the 1st few episodes of season 1. Also i get other critique people had like not liking a certain plot/twist near the end to do with steven's mom. I'm mixed on that myself. Or how animation could differ wildly in later seasons in how jank it could look. Really wish some episodes had more time to clean animation up
@@lewa3910 No its not the growing up that I didn't like it was the quality of the closure many of the mysteries and conflicts got. I feel like they build everything up just to do kinda nothing at the end. The filler episodes started to drag on a bit as well especially with how abnormal the release schedule was. I also feel like the quality of the dialogue just didn't hit the same, but some scenes were pretty neat. Despite that the music was still slappin and the character designs are awesome. The movie was also great! I haven't watched future yet because I've been apprehensive about the mixed reviews (and some negative reviews from a few of my friends), but I've been considering it lately. I just thought the first three-ish seasons were so freaking good and the last few were so meh. I don't feel like they earned the magic delete button at the end for both of the overarching conflicts. They built up the Diamonds so well and they just resolved it so easily just to turn around and step on the corruption conflict like a slug. Kinda felt like they pushed all of the plot to the last minute then found an easy way out. Then they drop a totally fire movie with a handful of total earworms. *shrug*

I've seen how they came up with the iron giants attacks, and special from the movie. My personal favorite was when he went into defensive mode (Protect a Friend)
