This is my first introduction to metal clay. I like it. Your cutters are very cool too.

      Your work is so beautiful!
I was wondering, to make the bezels with ez960 could I still use that flexible solution or do I need it at all? Would you know?

What product did you use to make the ends stick together? Do you have a video on torch firing the pieces? These are really beautiful!

    Very informative video,thank you:)
I have a question - how do you "calculate/predict" the shrinking of the bezel? I mean you made them so big for the stones that you used there and that couldn't possibly be 6-9% ? Thank you for the answer in advance ☺️

Shame she tells us to lessons comments, but then didn't reply...

I just bought the Bezel blades to try it myself. I would scan the cabochon to my computer, expand it based on the silver clay shrinkage percentage, and print it out. Then I would work with the silver clay wet and follow the printout shape. Dry it. Then Fire afterward. I don't know if that will work. But I'm going to try it out that way!

How do you attach the fired bezel to a clay back?

How do you keep the correct size and shape when you torch fire the bezel around the shape of the stone? Do you keep the stone in place to help keep the shape fitting around the stone?

You can just fire a long strip and form and set like traditional bezel wire.....

I found to my detriment after drying on a tile it doesn’t stick like polymer clay 😂 it’s fun to use tho. Tell me how did It not break when you dried it unfired to wrap around the mandrel ?

It must be either torch fired or fired in an electric kiln to burn the organic binder away and sinter the silver...it is then pure silver and you may do anything to it as you would with any other piece of silver wire.
