Just completing 6 qrp batterys. 18650 - 3500mh 3 pack. Works perfect with the power buddipole mini 2. On the 12.6 charge rate. Work perfect with 705. Also you can put 2 in parallel to increase amps. Each pack has it's own BMS.
Hey Chief? What do you think about paralleling a few of these set ups together to get 21 or so amps for a mobile set up? Im thinking about picking up an IC-7300 from a buddy of mine. Its like brand new, screaming deal. Im building a mobile set up that either sits in my boat (home) or that I can toss into my rig for land use. Thanks for the help.
Nice, you guys make it look easy. Best DIY battery pack video yet, keep up the good work both of you.
Based on a previous bad experience, I install the black power pole connector before the red wire is attached to the circuit. Just my thing.
Great Show! Thank You Josh!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice show. Enjoyed it very much!
Best you tube channel ever!
Thanks for watching!
Dennis could do ham radio ASMR. 😉
Indeed!

Notes on video have time stamps for different video, the one with Adam K6ARK :)
Whoops.
@@HamRadioCrashCourse I was wondering maybe it was due to the running joke on his callsign and people calling him Adam ;)

TeamReplay for the win
What was the tool Dennis was using to strip the wires? I heard Leatherman but not the model.
Yeah. Leatherman Micra
Thank you!
Very nice video. How close do the leads need to be for the spot welds?
Closer is good. But obviously, don’t let them touch.
Dennis doesn't want to talk about his holiday lol :)
What kind of battery did you use for this project?
A small cable tie for the red wire Josh
Wow I enjoyed
Cool build. Gives me some ideas for my go rig.
lI-ION Cells should never be discharged to zero!

You guys are making the project way more complicated than it should be.
Cool, thanks, really helpful.
