Especially for their handling issues, addition of new cars such as polestar 1, modern classic just like test drive 4 -6, muscle cars and good ol' JDM. I am not expecting TDU:SC spending on their visual customization. However, performance customization should be more precisely detailed

Lamborghini, Bugatti, Ferrari, Koenigsegg, Apollo, Dodge, Porsche, and mostly likely other car companies from previous TDU games - Multiplayer will be a big thing - Rated 18+ (Mostly likely because of the casino, hopefully this rating will let the game developers become more free in the development of the game) could still end up rated T - Aimed to release earliest by late (Dec) 2020 or 2021-2022, Xbox Series X & PS5, Google Stadia, Steam and Epic Games, maybe also Xbox One & PS4, there will be more information later in the year and next year - Map might be around the size of The Crew (It's going to be a big map in general) - Also including new game modes and more houses than TDU 1 & 2 combined - Old features are returning (Indicators, windows, roofs, etc...) - Since developers have done a lot of work with WRC (Car and environment sounds will be fantastic and TDU SC could even include weather effects) - Also partially going to be centered around social status, especially for the Solar Crown

the one in 97 is probrably running on a limited console, like a ps1 for example where as the 98 one is running on pc. high resolution, 60 fps, high draw distance
That graphical leap/jump in Test Drive Unlimited from its previous test drives was awesome, and whole concept of having entire island as a map was like WOW back then.
Having myself to drive hours to get to the car dealership, selling house for better ones and buy new houses for garrage space. I really like how it resemble lifestyle rather than just racing
I can't lie, TDU was one of the only games that made me feel like I was actually buying a car and earned it. Every other racing game just feels like you unlock it if that makes any sense
@lifesshorthavefun1832 Hell "yes", write Test Drive influenced Dirt its a dumb decision, Dirt its focused in rally, Test Drive in street racing. NFS had his own style and makes a lot of things better than Test Drive on the 90s.
It is basically like Forza in that Test Drive was just racing on tracks like Forza Motorsport while Test Drive Unlimited was open world like Forza Horizon.

Had the original on C64 and to be honest, it was an awful game that took forever to load, but I always loved the side view of the cards and the "Accolade presents" at the title screen. You just didn't get stuff like that on a console.
If it comes out, it will be an opponent to the forza, which means that the forza has to do more, there is no need to count NFS in the next game, you already know.

What Test drive does right is the camera placement. As the only racing game in the world you can actually see the road ahead of you, because the camera is higher up than normal... Good job Test Drive!!

The most important thing in a racing game are sounds. A game with good grapics is worthless without realistic sound. I only want Assetto Corsa quality sounds.
My dad has an 06 GMC Sierra 2500HD with the 8.1 and the Allison 6 speed. No matter if he's cruising down the road normally or has his 25' aquasport boat on a dual axle trailer behind him, it gets 9.2mpg, and drives exactly the same loaded down or not😂

If you want to play old Test Drive games you should play it on Amiga. PCs back in 80s were calculators with a monitor. So this is not an accurate comparison.
Nobody is talking about test drive ferrari racing legends, such a underrated game made by the same Studio of nfs shift games and project cars, thats why it looks like a copy of shift, but its a spin off of ferrari.
What I wanna see in test drive ; the grass on the edge of the road is worn down and turned to dirt and the dirt is also spread on the edges of the track. And when cars go off the track the grass rips up and the dirt both comes out of the wheel well and gets put onto the track and then flattened by oncoming cars in the race. Also rocks get spit up by wheels and can crack your front window. Puddles that get bigger as it rains. The dirt turns to mud. And muddy water can splash up. Proper car damage. Actually damage real cars and copy the damage Make it so you can pop tires. Make the rain of the window real. Record actual rain you’ll see. It has more water dripping down the side and the water moves up but only for a second. Make the cars heavier while driving but if you want ppl to have fun jumping then make the car change physics from heavy while driving to light while jumping. But jumping is played out bro. I wouldn’t bother tbh. Also. Use photogrammetry to make the tracks more real than any racing game in history. Make the background move like people in the crowd are walking to the bathroom and ppl selling food and people pulling up in a trailer and unloading race cars. People setting up tents. Make the background seem alive. Reporters interviewing racers on the pit or sidelines. Go to a real race. You’ll see what I mean. The background has constant movement. People walking back and forth etc. people coming up to the fence to take photos. People drawing chalk on the road and runs off when they see you coming. Birds flying around Trees blowing in the wind. Leaves from the trees blowing through the air. The track will shine from the sun no matter what direction your going from the sun or to the sun the track will look the same. There needs to be heat waves coming off the track too. There. Do that plus what you used to do and your hood
Why haven’t we gotten a collection of this series I grew up with it and it was really fun. I know we are getting solar crown soon but it would be cool to get a reboot or maybe a remaster of the first 2 with a bigger selction of cars and trucks with nos and a storyline behind it instead of just checkpoints and out running cops on mountain roads.

Nah, Dirt its a had a different theme and NFS had they unique style. Actually, the Test Drive PS1 titles get influenced by NFS elements.

I have NVIDIA RTX 2060 SUPER and I can't play TDU 2. Since the world map doesn't load on these video cards
